They need to put in the work, so they can be promptly ignored after. Which is why I’m a firm believer of never giving them ugly/weird/outcasted man a chance. They’ll resent you for not hating them like they hate themselves.

100% agree, you going to have a bad time if the woman is mostly in for the money. However you need to have a delicate balance, where you signal some level of wealth without actually flaunting it. But for the average guy in this subreddit does not need to care about this.

There was a study testing women and their mothers which qualities should have the ideal partner. Almost all of them chose intelligence as one of the top priority. When they actually chose men, they went for charisma and looks, and intelligence took a back seat. Edit: found it - New research on mate choices: Both daughters and their parents rated ambitious and intelligent men as a more desirable dating partner than attractive men. But when asked to choose the best mate for daughters, both daughte…

And as I said - even women might feel more comfortable going to a licensed sex worker I dont want to argue about this any more, because neither of us has any data point, but I would be really surprised if this would be true. If you feel up to it, ask the question in the /r/AskWomen sub. And we really punish anyone doing the job without proper licensing that would help getting rid of the black market and make the profession saver for people engaging in it I dont think fraud would be a big deal in…

We are debating sex work on the bases of the need for sex as a mental health service. Maybe it shouldn't be a way to make quick and easy money because thats a way to create a black market and force people into it Prostitution already there, so anyone who wants to make a quick bucks without a license, can do it easily. As a health professional you need to study for years, take exams, do your residency then you can practice. Being a doctor is already one of the highest-paying professions, so you n…

Sex work is attractive for women, because its a quick easy buck (if you dont have a problem sleeping with random dudes...), but getting a psychology degree is neither quick or easy. And I'm not sure if women would flock to this profession en masse. Also after a while older workers could face the problem of finding enough clients, as their looks also affects their business, just like in sex work. Perhaps one solution would be for them to switch paths after a while and work as traditional psycholo…

Such a wonderful idea, but I dont think it would be that more accepted than sex work, and I'm not sure you would find enough people to fill up the spots. And it wont be cheap either, and the EU healthcare is pretty big money sink as it is. As Gen Z men currently stands, the service is definitely needed, heck even Gen Z woman might need "treatment"

Well cat ladies wasn't viewed favorably either, but that doesn't really bothered them. By the way incel have two meaning now, so you need to clarify which one you using here
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:35 PM

Policies are usually set by the government and the cost should be covered by the national budget. But in this case I dont think they can solve it with money. For example you can provide a flat for young relatively poor couples if they are willing to get 2-3 children, or you can mandate maternity / paternity leave, to moderate the population decline, but I dont think monetary policy will help with the "wizard" problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:27 PM

In first world countries, there are already cases of terrorism that have not been adequately addressed for years. And as I earlier mentioned, we already have examples of this kind of terrorism in the US, has anyone enacted any policy to address this issue? It had to be lot-lot worse before anything will be implemented, and if you are starting to target the currently not violent, then you are not much better than the violent ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:15 PM

they will enact terrorism. Some already do, so nothing new here. And the general public by and large does not care about them at all. The more important question what will the majority do? Will they use the same strategy Chinese men do (lay down and rot), or will they advocate for some radical reforms? Or they will just break shit just for the fun of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:02 PM

You can call a small number of people you can oppress as terrorist. It wont work, when 3rd of Gen Z men have the same experience and share the same ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:32 PM

Yeah no, if only men would try to go out more, then they have fever women to socialize with. Its either both gender do it or it wont work.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:30 PM

If their desires of a meaningful future and achievable goals are 'getting women' they want war anyway Thankfully your are not in the position to decide that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:25 PM

If we get to that point that something get crushed, it would be liberal ideas and feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:17 PM

I mean, though low birth rate is good. You like high inflation, shrinking economic possibilities, huge amount of retirees compared to working adults, which is huge burden on the budget? Because a strong decline will get you those then some. Its like 2008 recession for decades
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:12 PM

Because if we cant give them meaningful future and achievable goals, then the far right (and maybe the far left) will. Neither will be good for the current society, and there is a high chance of violence / civil war.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:01 PM

The more violence happens from that group, it disrupts the lives of the average people who are happy, which will always be larger than the unelected men. The problem with this line of thinking, that one side have much to lose, and very little on the other end (if they already at the point to turn it into violence). But I think they can change society simply by voting for parties that push similar narratives like the religious right.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 05:57 PM

The issue is the advancement of technology has incentivized a lot of men to rot behind a screen at home rather than go out and socialize. That moot point because both men and women rot behind the screen <image>

Since the Nordic modell are spreading, I think the majority does not support prostitution. Belgium is the only country which legalized it, while several country adopted the Nordic model in the past ~15 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:20 PM

Depending on the country, people have varying access to weapons, explosives. And the state have mass surveillance, you will be busted the minute you start organizing something dangerous.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:38 PM
3

You'd be imprisoned, enslaved, enlisted or excommunicated. Heh, are you also suggesting that we go back to those “good old days”? You might lose the voting right, or all of it, depending on the time. And for excommunication you need strong communities which we have less and less. What is more likely, that they become a strong voting block along with the religious right, and they become the majority. But either way if we reach those radical steps, we become a failed society.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 06:09 PM
1

I'm would rather heve it legalized, with rights, protections and responsibilities. Sometimes with decriminalization they can make their life harder in some way. Unfortunately the Nordic modell is slowly spreading, which makes prostitutes life hell.

What do you mean "stop caring and become selfish"? What does this look like? You want me to define selfish for you? Sure. Someone is selfish, when they dont care of others, dont want to spend time with you, and they would only find you when they want something from you. Parent/child relationships aren't the exception. People are going No Contact with their parents. Or parents going No Contact with their kids. I know, but on the other hand shithead kids and parents keep being shithead and they st…

Any of those relationship will degrade severally or out right cease if one party would stop caring for the other(s) and become selfish. The only relationship that is the exception are the parent - child one, where you can be an asshole for years and it can bounce back. Any other relationship most likely fail without the chance to repair it. Maybe siblings can also bounce back, but I'm not sure if that bond have the same strength as the parent - child one.

Yes, Sugar Daddy's tend to be in denial because they don't want to see it as a transactional thing. Rich guys usually are not morons, they know its a play pretend. But there are way more aspiring SB than rich SD, so any SB that fails to play their part will be replaced in short order.

I read repeat comments from women, that the window when they will either categorize you as a romantic or platonic interest is very small, so if keeping up the platonic "energy" for a while it is sure fire way to lose them. anti women == anything that criticizes feminism When we poll adults who didn't go to college, the top reason women cite is a lack of access. The top reason men cite is a lack of interest. Then its perfectly fine then, nothing to see or adjust here, lets push even more women to higher education, give them more grants, etc. It's not that it's illegal for men to attend. /r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 06:00 PM

Maybe it's because women already do too much in relationships, that if they also have to go 50/50 or pay everything in the first dates, there is genuinely no point for her to be dating you I love when blue pill women inadvertently confirm red pill ideas. High SMV men can easily find dates and a partner without paying a cent. Its only low SMV men that needs to pay trough their nose to be considered as a partner.

This fight is over, long over. Is it? Even recent studies show, that men expected to pay. Over 70% of Americans believe that in heterosexual relationships the man should pay on the first date, according to a recent survey form NerdWallet. Although 68% of women expect their male dates to pick up the tab, even more men — 78% — place that expectation on themselves, saying they should be responsible for the cost of the date, the survey found. Why do you get involved in situations that clearly cause you pain? If you continue to date men who have any amount of sex drive, your relationship is doomed to fail from the start if you can’t find pleasure in sex. The number of men who can enjoy a romantic relationship without sex is very low—barely a few percent—among those under 50. Hey, I did not said its more meaningful, I only said (well implied), that the two is not in the same ballpark. /r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 09:35 AM

What's different from masturbating and going to an escort/one night stand? Any chance you are also on the autism spectrum? People willingly have sex with people they don't even find attractive too, which is the most baffling part to me. Either for money or its an ego thing I guess. But I think lots of RP guys overhipe the sex itself, and downplay the satisfactions other aspects of the relationships gives to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 09:23 AM

The urge can be solved by yourself Do you mean masturbation? Thats like talking to yourself in a solitary confinement instead another human. I agree that an escort and a one night stand will only scratch an itch and wont lead to fulfillment. However I do not consider a romantic relationship to be fulfilling without sex either.

We (humans) would have gone extinct long ago if finding a partner, having sex, and raising children weren't among the strongest motivating factors in our lives. When everything else in your life is going well, managing the lack of romantic interest is quite a burden, eating away time and energy you would rather spend enjoying yourself, or being productive.

If these women “wanted” to die alone they wouldn’t have had a partner in the first place Or maybe they just wanted kids. To me, “willing” still means they’re trying, but they accept it if they don’t find the ideal partner. If they make no effort at all, I would suspect that they have deliberately chosen the outcome.

We respond truthfully, as adult individuals. The funny thing is that men are constantly accused of seeing the world in black and white in here. Then women coming out of the woodwork with in group bias like these. Off course darling, women are little angels, they would never lie, or manipulate others, anyone who says so are a mean incel.

What is a pleasant touch? How did you touch you that was not pleasant? Anyway I'm not native speaker, I assumed he only touched you once awkwardly. If he crossed boundaries or if he was brash, then its okay to not continue dating him.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and I assume the guy acted awkwardly before that touch. Because if you ditched a potentially good candidate after just one awkward touch or sentence, then you are a lunatic, who will end up alone.

A lot of the benefits only come with maturity and long term thinking, something most young men don’t have. The problem is that you may be very mature in your 30s, but if you don't have the necessary relationship skills acquired in your 20s, most women will automatically reject you.

Most as in like more than 95%. Lol, absolutely not. You can be very sociable, but if your social life revolves around a male hobby, you are not in a much better position than someone who does not go out often. Be a nice person and acknowledge that everyone is, to a certain extent, acting in their own best interests. Being a nice man is detrimental to your success. Kindness may work for some women, while others are attracted to the excitement of the dark triad, but being nice deters most women.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 10:22 AM

So the only thing left for me is money. Trust me, you dont want some who is only after you due to money or status. You need something to occupy your mind and channel your energy in a positive direction, and you need to accept and embrace your situation so that you don't waste your energy on things you can't change. Therapy can be a good idea, but choose your therapist carefully and only choose someone who understands your situation.

That is why some women who aren’t even that good looking get treated very well by their man who is obsessed with them he thinks she’s good looking and that’s all that matters. Agree on that On the flipside there are women who are drop dead gorgeous who get treated like crap by their man. I actually would argue that this is an area where men are not very honest. They tend to overstate the value of looks, being good looking does not mean that you will date good men. It does not mean that men will …

Aging doesn’t take away the desire for sex — in fact, many older adults still see it as an essential part of romantic relationships, according to new University of New Hampshire research. Either you care about it or you don't; there's no such thing as caring about it just a little bit. So men either swore off of it, or they care and have to pursue and be the dancing monkey. It's easy to not care if you've been burned too many times in previous relationships and are convinced that it's not good for you, or if you really have plenty of opportunities to find a partner. Everyone else just pretends not to care. Not trying doesnt mean not talking to women at all. And if you really don'…

Not trying doesnt mean not talking to women at all. And women do keep their poker face and not let you on, that they interested in you, because they expect you to chase them. No this is not just an assumption, I read exactly this in a women only subreddit. They know its a leverage, and they dont want to lose it. Obviously its not true for all women, younger women are more idealistic and will try to make the first move once or twice.

There is several downside with no upside. Because a child is never fully ours, whether we’re biological parents or not There is a huge difference, because you can obtain visitation rights for your own child. There is no such thing, even if you have raised and loved that child for 5-10 years, the biological parent can prevent you from visiting them until they grow up, sometimes even when the child is already an adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 06:54 PM

If you love the kid wholeheartedly they will love you back. That’s just basic psychology, that’s how attachement works. I don't know if it's just naivety or stupidity, but some kids hate you before they even get to know you, just because you "block" their parents from getting back together. And if the previous parent was awful, you have to work extra hard, just to have a normal relationship with the kid

First of all, this is a discussion sub. If you find it offensive that we argue with your opinion, then perhaps you should reconsider what you want to talk about here. There are things that are far more important than how much money you make. You're right, but it's still important to earn enough to live comfortably if you end up alone. But that's just the minimum. In my case, sex outside of a serious “let’s share a life together” commitment isn’t what I want, and I have always lived by that. Zero exceptions. Anyone who isn’t good with waiting isn’t compatible with me. It’s that simple. I’m not holding it against anyone. The 2020 Pew survey mentioned that 75% of men between 30 and 49 are in relationship, so that 60% by 30 is pretty bleak picture, which gets even uglier as Gen Z gets older.

When its just a shifting tide of relationships. Most people shouldn't need another person to simply survive but people should want to be with each other cuz it makes life easier and better as a whole. I heard it countless time from women here, that if the relationship is not a step up from their single life, then they rather be a single. Which means good or decent looking guys, with good or decent income are in high demand, and the rest of guys are just extras in the dating market.

Also for the love of god, please don't feel like you have to get cosmetic procedures done. And even if sex were the goal, then women should only be able to have sex once a month, and men should adapt to it like most animals. I think it's the other way around. The main point you seem to be missing, that while a couple of men can be a fun casual partner for lots of women, this does not work if those women want to settle down and start a family later. Some women have to choose men who do not attract them as much, which can lead to dead bedroom and, later on, a high chance of divorce.

No. Women expect men to be their provider, entertainer, security detail and emotional support, as well as doing 50% of the chores and any house repairs. Depending on who you ask, the red pill means a lot of things, and sometimes the exact opposite. You can’t preach abundance while centring your entire worldview around sexual strategy and control. It is not a worldview, just a dating strategy. And the abundance mindset is the best guide when you realize you are dating a toxic or manipulative woman. So it teaches exactly what this post is about: not dating out of desperation, but only if the potential partner is worth your time. And the control is…

Opinion of close ones > opinion of society They would not get it, that dating today is totally different beast that it was 15 or 20 years ago. In lots of social places it become taboo to ask out ppl, due to online anti harassment campaigns. There are less and less third places people can meet. Trying to date in your workplace is a quite risky business in recent times. And we all know what a shit show is OLD. I swore off apps because I don’t think it’s possible to know anything about a person just by photos I mean its generally a good idea to stay away from dating apps if you want something meaningful, but you dont have to date just based on photos, you can chat a while to know them better. I went to TONS of social events If you do not give a positive signal to guys, most of them will not try anything due to the recent anti-harassment campaigns.

That's the neat part, if you have a simp, you can communicate as much or as little as you want with him, and date him as often or almost never as you prefer. And please spare me with this preach, everyone likes getting free stuff.

Let's be fucking honest, raising a small child is harder than working most 9-5 jobs, and here in the EU the state pays you as long as you raise the small child (for example the first 1-2-3 years). So I don't consider someone who raises a small child a NEET because they don't fit the original idea. Yes, because cold approaches are increasingly taboo and office dating is very risky after the metoo era. Apps are not designed to find a partner, so people try to find one from their circle of friends. The only problem with this is that young people have fewer and fewer friends, so the possibility of finding a partner is very limited.

If you pissing off one of the crazies you can expect some really nasty shit, but you could also expect that security will be called on you, or worst case you will be put on blast on social media. BTW, doing the same thing as a woman is also very risky; you're more and more likely to run into a psychopath trying to manipulate you, or a lowlife who won't take no for an answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 11:45 PM

I'm not BP at all, but those test doesn't prove anything until someone dated those men and then rejected them without blocking on the app: if they still behaved nicely they passed that test, not before. Also, I'd like to see those pictures because I've seen decent looking women called 3-4 and some women rated 8, but I wouldn't have poked them with a stick... Edit: I'm not questioning female hypergamy, which causes most of their problem, just this particular test.

Wishful thinking. Confident assholes who are a bit charming are rewarded all the time. So if they are constantly being an asshole to everyone that's going to come back and bite them in the ass. Perhaps not straight away but eventually. These idiots spew the same misogynistic crap to everyone, which sooner or later gets to a woman in a position of power or someone in HR, which ends up biting them in the ass big time. Explain in detail what is stopping men from congregating in private spaces. The FBI. Most male only space are created by extremists most often right wing ones. But I dont have to explain shit to you, we had a working system that ruined by feminists, just because they dont like them. They could just as easily create their own open or closed spaces, but they rather destroyed the men only spaces.

Yes, first lets close all the male only space or have them open up for women, then lets blame man, that they dont arrange male only space any more. I'm sorry that history upset you, but this is the work of radfems, nothing else. There were lots of male only sport clubs and bars, but feminist fought against them, because omg sexist places. Hence the red pill advice to work on yourself, your carrier, because most of the time a successful career makes you more confident. However, I cannot go past your previous comment. confidence on an ugly guy is called lack of self awareness That's the top 4chaƞ edgy comment, and not something I expect from a blue pill... Combined with your other comment it sounds like good looks are a value to be proud of. I mean you can be proud of anything, but being proud of your looks is incredibly shallow.

I'm sorry I used the word pretend, but it's not really the right word here. Let me explain via a reddit post I came across in /r/dating_advice. You are conflating useless and ugly, which reflects badly on you if you do it unconsciously, and reflects very badly on you if you do it on purpose. Or you are useless and confident yourself. Personal attack is always the best to win an argument.

Sometimes people change, sometimes people pretend that they changed, which will masks the earlier life style difference that wouldn't work with the current partner, however the N count stays as a reminder of that difference. Now if this is a valid reason to be skeptical, that the relationship won't last I dont know, but this is the source of high n count avoidance. BTW there is a big difference between high n count and high n count, and why you had that high n count.

In a vacuum, yes, they don't change much. But life happens, they lose important relatives, they get sick, or they just have a bunch of kids and suddenly they're overwhelmed. You don't really get to know a person until you see how they handle a crisis, how they handle loss or loss of privilege and easy living. And I think most people won't see how their partner reacts to these negative events in the few years they're dating.

The fact that some people fall out of love so easily seemingly indicates a personal failing compared to those people who don't. I think this is perfectly valid if they were married less than 5 yrs. The problem with escort that you need to lie about them, which is not a good start... If she finds out you most likely will lose the relationship. Also an escort will give you 0 dating or relationship skill, which is as important as sex. Maybe a discrete SB is a better option, but you still need to skirt the truth if you get asked about it.

Uhh if one party works full time and the other does not have a part-time job even AND the kids are old enough to be in a school most of the day, than the party who stays at home is better clean up the house and cook, or they are just a mooch, if they expecting split chores.

Almost no one enjoys cleaning, The trick is there should be visible difference in the before and after stages. If the room looks exactly the same after cleaning, you are vacuuming too often

I do not subscribe that level of generalization Glove978 mentioned, but it is true that for lots of women its is not an instant attraction, and they do not really bond till sex. This behavior is only natural for women

At this point if you haven't interacted with him in years, you probably in love with an idea not an actual person. You should seek help, because this is not healthy.

Its not, unless you tell this to your romantic partner. Then its a massive one

Right, but this corner of the internet is full of post saying for both men ad women to do not settle, find your perfect match

The 60/40 thing is easily proven to be unrepeatable Are you talking about the Pew research survey? Yes, they are a bunch of hacks, just ignore their result lol the 80/20 thing only applies to dating apps You conveniently ignore that in the past 10-15 years all kind of IRL dating option shrunk considerably while OLD is the preferable dating method for most.

Sure, when its a low number who cares, like 5-15%. But when you get 30%+ which is steadily growing then it might worth to investigate. Also there is a good chance that these men who permanently dropped off the dating market will find their place in an extremist group... Now that will be fun for everyone

You probably live in a bubble where men socializing enough that they manage to handle it. But yes, if you lose your friend group because you dont put effort keeping it up, or you just move to a new city for work then you can end up isolated to a level where its really hard to get new friends as you get older. And losing your social circle is a good way to fail in dating too, as its pretty much a "social game".

Yes but the point that most men dont want to be single, but the dating marked is so fucked, that they rather work on themself or their hobbies instead of wasting their energy on dating. Most men over 30 I know are in a relationship. Yes, that's true, but the number is steadily falling. As gen Z gets older I suspect single men will raise to half or close to half in the 30-39 age range too. Edit: lol, I just take a look at the dating subreddit and the top post is "Single guys, are you staying sing…

Well if you believe in the statistic, pretty big part of young guys give up on dating, and women also dating less

Yeah if you dont think about it much I could get the giggle, but if you dig a bit deeper... Well lets hope your old man didn't ponder it too much because the conclusion would be very off putting

I’m not spelling out basic shit for some retard who can’t read between the lines. I was with you so far, but if you picked him, then you deserve what you got. Who is the retard now?

The skit is funny, but if you think you can attack millennial or younger men with this behavior, then you are way off base. Some traditional ment still act like this way, but you are not looking for traditional men, are you?

A kind gesture if he have to wake up early anyway. If not then that woman is spoiled, and if you suggest similar treatment for a BF you will get a lot of shit from women, that they are not a bang maid.

I’m 23f and dated a 31 y/o when I was 20. I could never imagine dating a man like that now, Right, and what guarantee is there that if you date a guy in the same age range (20-22) that you won't outgrow him now, or 3-4 years later? Nothing, right? Then you might want to reconsider your argument.

Hey man, this was not directed to you, but to /u/ArtifactFan65, as he argued there is nothing problematic with this big age difference. Its pretty obvious that you can bond easier with someone who experienced similar cultural events or trends, compared to someone who grow up in a different era. But of course if you feel you found the best partner you can, then go for it. I had a colleague who was maybe 32-33 when he started to date a 18yr old, reddit would crucify him as a creep, but he was at t…

The odd that they will be divorced is double at this age difference compared to marrying someone of a similar age

Yes. Also it was written in the 70's, that was a quite different time. But you only need to take one look in the academic achievements of women to know its no longer a valid statement.

Did you not see the AND? Fuck me, I jumped right over it But I still think that most IRL gathering was replaced by Internet based stuff fully, and the examples you listed are the tiny minority and the exception, not the rule. Also what you describes is a bit hipster-is extrovert life style not suited for the majority of the people. The sport club you mentioned only works if the fan base is a small group OR you wouldn't make real friends there if you not interact with them IRL week after week. If…

I'm sorry are you trying to sell discord servers as a replacement for IRL gathering with friends? What would be the next one, lets use OF if you cant find romantic partner?

This explanation only works while this group relatively low. When its more than 30%, or dare I say 50%+ then you sound like an elitist. The internet has killed a shit tonne of offline activities where you could make new friends

It’s very strange that men who have a strong sense of rules and protocol defend firebrands and shitstirrers who infiltrate college campuses Is this the modern version of communist scare or what? :D I realize many TRP men are also conservative and anti-college He is as far as anti-college or anti-education as you can get, but thanks for confirming your biases

We shouldn’t declare the sex recession over based on just a single year of data—especially a single year that relied on new survey methods—and a fairly small sub-sample of 229 respondents. Edit: I would also like to see the exact questions: does sex with sex workers count or not?

Even if that’s true, who cares? If you want to live in that society you should. Its better if people give a damn about each other or you get shit like this. The aimless single man is a hotbed for all radical groups. I hope I don't have to go into why this is a bad thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 02:39 AM

Conversely if one is known to be honest, kind, empathetic and the like, it’s far more beneficial. Empathetic and kind people are taken advantage of and then laughed at. Honesty does not work well in the current society, which operates with many white lies Edit: You should be only honest with your closest lifelong friends. Maybe with your parents if they are loving and understanding.
