This pairing is more common than you think. I can't speak for these couples but generally they connect on most realms other than political. Men's college enrollment rates are declining and they're becoming more conservative. Opposite trend for women. We're going to be hearing more about this dynamic as time goes on.

Red Pillers were ragey and seemed to bond and encourage each other through rampant misogyny and “gym bro locker room The rage was something that was added on later. Yes misogyny was there from the start. But it was a fun kind of misogyny that even women can grow to like. Think Tucker Max I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. That was when red pill was just down on their luck guys who still had the spirit of willingness and being open to try anything. Red Pill started getting the ragey vibe when marrie…

Just like fashion trends, pills follow are following cycle I feel like. I was reading red pill forums 10 years ago. Real OGs will remember sosuave, RSD, thegame iykyk and they all harped that looks didn't matter, it was all about game and projecting a persona. Obviously that was dumb. Pendulum swung the other way with blackpill. But to me blackpill is refreshing because at least it doesn't ignore the reality of the situation. Truth is somewhere inbetween the two. 9 times out of 10 you're going t…

I've noticed an uptick in younger guys with older women. One of my boys dated a 35 year old when he was 23. Then after her, he dated a 40 year old. He's not the best looking guy. That seems to be the norm. The pattern is that older men with younger women could do just as well with women their age while younger men with older women don't have much options with women their age.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 07:12 AM
1

Normal women have way more options. I don't disagree with that. A lot of normal looking women can thirst trap and get the DMs rolling but I doubt the quality of attention and men she receives would make it worth it.

Most fat middle aged men like fat middle aged women just fine. They even appear to be marrying these women God bless their soul. I find most women my age attractive. I'm not saying this to one up you either; legit there are long stretches of time in my commute where I'd probably fuck most of the girls that pass by me on the street. I know you can't comprehend that guys can actually think like this but then again you aren't blessed with a dick between your legs and a brain doused with testosteron…

Grew up in upper middle class New Jersey. Now in upper middle class Boston. Skinny is becoming less common but overweight people are rarer here than in most of America. The only fat people I know that come to mind are the parents of people I know. Again, it's about your social group. Fat fucks belong to each other. I highly doubt the fat lards on here have any delusion they're going to land a girl with a normal BMI.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 09:27 PM

This isn't lost on anyone. Fat people stick to their own. Just keep in mind how this thread started. OP said men are delusional for not finding these women attractive and implies its men who have unrealistic standards. There's actual statistics on who has higher standards. It's women. It's always been women. Most women would agree with this. None of this is controversial.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 05:15 PM
1

Yeah. I just disagree with this whole line of reasoning. You can look up actual hard data on what men think. We find women's attractiveness fall roughly under a normal distribution. The average woman is a 5 to us. When woman are surveyed, they rate the average man as being a 2.5 - 3 depending on the study. Contrary to popular belief, men are more attracted to a wider range of body types, height, races, income levels, and ages than women. Men are easy. We like and want women more than you guys wa…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 05:05 PM

The issue when talking about averages on here is - you have to ask what's average for your social circle. Like, I don't know anyone in my immediate social circle who doesn't have a college degree, even though 60% of US adults don't have a degree. The average women doesn't have a degree but the chances of me getting with a girl who doesn't have one is slim to none. So when women come on here and expect men to get with fat bitches because that's the average sounds insane.

I agree with this. I haven't looked into it myself but I recall from a Jordan Peterson video that this effect is more distinct the more egalitarian a country is. Countries like Norway and Sweden which have the most aggressive anti-gender discrimination laws have much lower rates of women in STEM than more gender regressive countries like Pakistan, China, and even Iran.

Yes because if a guy changes his mind, it must mean he's a superficial person who never cared. That makes sense. And this is what I mean when I say we're constantly being pathologized. Instead of admitting you're offended that things didn't work out - we have to be made to be the bad guys who never cared in the first place for the sake of making you feel better. It's so much easier to claim a guy only used you for sex then to admit there wasn't much there for either of you to build on outside of…

It's a false dichotomy though. Some days all a guy wants is sex. Some days he doesn't care to do anything but hang out. And sometimes we actually do lose interest once we fuck enough times and the post nut clarity hits. Doesn't mean we were never actually interested in getting to know them or that we lied about our intentions. Why is "he only used me for my body" the most accepted narrative when it could've just as easily been "I don't have much to offer him except sex." so he moved on to find s…

Yeah I don't doubt it. I believe you. Just give credit where it's due. Do you talk to her and see if you do like her as a person? Or do you pretend to like her even if you don't just to get to vagina. If you can't tell the difference that might be a you problem. This was your example of objectification. I'm saying there's a lot of mind reading going on whenever women accuse men of objectifying someone. /r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 06:00 PM
5

Men don't decide if something is objectifying. Well it's not even a gender specific thing - it's just whoever is the object of sexual attraction gets to decide if objectification is occurring. I'm not saying women are wrong to feel how they feel about what's happening, I'm just saying objectification is an opinion not some observable fact. Because I've been on the receiving end of this - women I've been in relationships with act like they can read my mind and get mad when I can't read theirs.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 05:54 PM

First time hearing about the surgical masks, interesting. And yeah I know about the literal definition of fetish. I'm arguing against its common usage of women using it as a means to shame and discourage men. Race is a sexual feature. So is age and height and anything else you can think of on your body. We only make a distinction between fetishization and sexualization is because women want to let everybody know what's acceptable for us to be attracted to and what contexts to do it in.

Give a non-ambiguous definition of sexual objectification and then give the definition of sexualization. It's the same. The only reason we've accepted that it might be different is because women control the narrative on this topic by framing their perception of sex as being a higher order than men. Everytime us m*n dare glance at someone hot we should acknowledge that they probably have a great personality so we don't commit the sin of objectification. It's so autistic.

You're getting to the point he wants to arrive at. Fetishes don't mean anything important - at least in the way women usually describe men as having them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 05:29 PM
6

Ok but notice how fetishize doesn't mean anything then. Guys who will commit vs who won't will both fetishize you. Fetishization just means sexualization. It can be good or bad depending on the context.

That's not how property inheritances worked The eldest son would most likely inherit their parent's estate. That's historically untrue. Unmarried young men with low assets, low income, low job prospects, and low mating prospects usually filled high risk occupations. That's been true everywhere. Not having sex doesn't make someone a liability lmao. It does. Underemployed and low status men are usually responsible for destabilizing societies where there's too many of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 05:23 PM

it's always purely sexual. Like I want you for sex but I wouldn't pursue you for anything other than that. You don't think men would see it as a positive to commit to someone who sates their fetishes? Idk about that
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 05:15 PM

True, but things are different now. Men aren't compelled by necessity to those places. That's why I think we should institute a mandatory military service or even mandatory community service.

In an ideal world, women wouldn't have to have the physical burden of pregnancy but here we are. So I don't see how holding women hostage helps anyone. I agree with you that women hold a lot of decision making power when starting a family, but why you would possibly think that's a bad thing. Despite what you think, women suffer more financially from childbirth in every metric you choose to look at it: lost career prospects, lower income, opportunity cost from childcare. Do you not understand the contradiction of framing Roe v Wade as an issue of parental input. Removing the rights of women to choose whether to carry a child gives no advantage to either men or women in the decision making process. It removes the choice for both of them, but you don't seem to understand that because your line of reasoning presumes that men would never want their partner to abort.

Thanks for writing this up. It's comprehensive and insightful. But I can't reconcile the definition of fetishization you've given and the fact that it would mean that a large population would then have a racial fetish. Yeah okay so be very specific about what you actually mean by fetish. I'm getting annoyed that you keep changing the criteria for what is a racial fetish. First you say a fetish would mean that they would drop them the second they changed race but everything stayed the same - meaning all of that attraction was predicated on race. Now you're saying it's using a racial stereotype as a basis of sexual attraction. So a black guy gets dropped because he doesn't have a BBC. Then... it was never about …

I don't find anything romantic about a woman who's willing to throw herself at unemployed or financially struggling men. It would bring into question her intelligence. A girl that says the moment you stop buying her shit on demand her sexual attraction stops doesn't offend you? You're right. That would offend me. Good thing for me that women who are sexually attracted to money and money alone d…

Women have preferences that are unique to them. Cultivated through a myriad of life experiences and refined tastes. Men, on the other hand, are bloodlusted penises with legs.

It's being wanted because of a specific feature. Proving my point. This is so vague that you can twist it around to the point that you can accuse anything of fetishization or objectification. It's a fetish when you want to date someone or find them attractive because of their race. I guarantee you no guy on Earth is actually dating a girl because of her race. They like girls of certain races, and they find that girl attractive. I can confidently say this because if that were true, then a fetis…

Non STEM and non-medical while also being not poor? I suggest going the analyst route. What do they analyze and what do they do exactly? Great question, they'll get back to you on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 04:05 PM

I don't think they dodge accountability, I think a lot of them are maladapted and immature to the point that they claim it and are proud of the fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 04:00 PM

Women are so vague when they talk about being objectified or fetishized. No one gives a fuck if an asian girl only dates white guys but when it's a white guy only dating asian girls it's automatically yellow fever. Also reminds me of a tiktok I saw where an asian girl said she felt insecure because her boyfriend only dated white girls before her and she thinks that's his type. Women don't like being fetishized but they obviously do just a little bit.

I was having a conversation with my friend that's a girl. She was complaining about how she doesn't enjoy having sex with her fiance. My only thought was that's TMI but I gave some hand wavy advice about bringing it up to him or trying something new. She goes, "Yeah I'm just venting tbh. I have never seen let women approach you be a piece of advice here offered by men. Vast majority of women will not be the ones approaching or asking a man out regardless of his looks.

How. Unless their girlfriends were the ones who asked them out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 03:50 PM

The best sign that someone doesn't have anything important in their life is how much they emphasize their association with groups or people that have nothing to do with them. If you're on the, "men built the modern world" line of thinking but you yourself are unemployed - not a great look.

My female friend said to me, "When I was actively looking for a guy, I couldn't find anybody. But when I stopped looking, [bf's name] came into my life. Every pickme girl I've met in real life is physically unattractive. So I think it's a strategy to make up for a women's looks and nothing on Earth can make up for a woman's looks in dating. So in that sense I think simps may be more successful because at least there are good looking simps, and some of those traits translate positively like being viewed as a provider or being devoted.

The rejection I had this weekend has me in my feelings more so than any other I've experienced. Usually I brush it off but I was so sure it was gonna be a yes. She said, "Yeah I know I'm attractive." FML I should've played games with her.

Your competition analogy doesn't hold up. It's like saying you're not actually competing with other applicants for a job, you're competing with an employer's needs and expectations. We're not explicitly being compared and contrasted with other women's options but the market forces of dating has material impacts on our lives and lived experiences nonetheless.

I don't think you're arguing in good faith when the other guy says dating for men can be difficult and has its unique challenges and all you responded with is, paraphrasing here "men do this to themselves and its fully under men's control". You're adding to men's sentiments that their difficulties are often dismissed.

The majority of women rate average men as unattractive. What falls on deaf ears is that rejection is the default for most dudes. It's annoying when women say it's not that bad when they've taken the passive role for most of their dating history.

Here's mainstream reddit's take on a popular ppd topic, why are women often seen as more attractive than their male counterparts? Why is there seemingly more attractive women than men? : NoStupidQuestions (reddit.com) For starters, I remember reading about this topic in the book Evolution of Desire. This trend seems to be stable and universal where women rated the average man to be below average in terms of looks while the men tend to rate women's attractiveness along a normal distribution. I actually agree that this is accurate perspective that men and women take but it needs another does of reality. The real life equivalents of Belle and the Beast are significantly uglier than those depicted in the movie while having the same depth of character as Gaston and the blondes. We never talked about unattractive people. They're invisible so who knows what they're up to. As for attractive people, we place all of our emphasis on them. That's why I thought it was important to bring up confirmation bias and post hoc fallacy. We give rationalizations for why attractive people are the way that they are without ever admitting we already thought that about them beforehand. You will never be an accurate judge of their character because it's inextricably linked to their looks. S…

Women decide if a man's issues are big enough to stop him from dating, not men. Same with you, you should've dumped your now husband once you knew he was an alcoholic relying on your free lunches. I never believed that it's a woman's responsibility to repair a man.

To sum it up, I think the perspective that men and women are fundamentally different due to biological incentives is a good one. Having that be the basis for a lot of dating/relationship phenomena you commonly see isn't exclusive to red pill but it's annoying when people make you think that all of it happens in a vacuum.

The dogmatic part I agree with but low class and low value isn't true. Not to sound like a dick but most of PPD were never popular so they struggle to articulate how any of this stuff plays out in real life. You get to see all the red pill tropes play out in high velocity if you're in the clubbing scene or you're in a friend group who gets a lot of attention. Spend a weekend talking to former sorority sisters and tell me it doesn't line up with some dogma.
