They're known to be more open minded when it comes to within the Muslim world, but that still means very conservative. Its a hotel, not a street corner, the environment plays a big role. In a hotel theres often a certain standard everyone needs to meet to be there, so women are going to have their guard down in environments like these more than others. And like I said, the opener is going to be the most honest one, because they don't have time to process the situation. I mean its funny because you're saying he was smooth, but others here are saying he has no game.

Its basically learning how to crawl before how to walk, because most people who are starting off aren't just afraid of talking to girls, but socially inept, awkward, introverted, and are scared to talk to strangers in general.
