Agreed. Cultural norms are a thing. However everything is chemical. Thoughts in our brain are just chemicals and those thoughts alone cannot cause this deviation from “nature”. I’m only hypothesizing but there are definitely multiple things at play here.

You know I’ve started to wonder if it’s not only men’s testosterone that is going down over the years. There is something messing with women’s hormones too. Causing this rift and lack of feelings of motherhood which they are supposed to have evolutionarily.

Don’t even need to go that far the very people who keep any platform alive and running are mostly men. The people doing the actual work of maintaining servers and data and the internet and everything required to run it are likely >90% men just to have people with barely 2 brain cells bash the very people who enable their communication. This world is a really strange place. People need to be educated better

Exactly there is plenty of anthropology research literature that says that Polyamorous societies tend to get extremely violent amongst themselves and die out which is why humans developed culturally enforced monogamy ie polygamy is frowned upon and curbed.

5 star hotels earn most of their revenue from businesses not "couples". Flower business is barely a billion dollar industry. Jewelry stores, size-able part of the economy but not really. Lingerie companies wont go belly up becaue people stopped dating they'll just rebrand like they did when going from "decent" lingerie to racy Victoria secret stuff. Nail and hair salon + Makeup constitute a 2 billion dollar industry which is not going anywhere might slow down their revenue but most wont be closi…
