I say as the older brother. You do what must be done. He'll get over it. He'll meet another one. Conniving or not. Don't make the choice for him, but do what you can to make him see the truth. 12 months is a very long time. Time is on your side. In all honesty, you might not have to do anything. Nature will take its course. Regardless, good luck to you.

Great read. You are wise! #55 hits hard haha.

Can someone link the post he's referring to? Great post though OP. I too might be going on a similar journey. I'm in the financial industry in the USA now, but I am contemplating up and going to Japan or Romania to teach English with the intent of learning the native language while there, while immersing myself in their culture.

I swear I wanna say that there was an article I read long ago. That if you asked someone something over and over. At the seventh time (magic number), you were likely to get a yes. The estimated value of saying yes was worth more than saying no and expecting another. I forget where I read that from. But yeah, persistence pays off.

Puke. What a stupid article.

Had to google that. Buyer beware. You damn right. Haha. I remember that seinfeld episode with kramer and the helmet with Newman. Buyer beware. Whatever haha. That's gold.

Great post. But I'm not sure I follow on why no punctuation. Perhaps I missed that part. Thanks though. Great guide.

If those videos don't do it for you, then so be it. “When you show yourself to the world and display your talents, you naturally stir all kinds of resentment, envy, and other manifestations of insecurity... you cannot spend your life worrying about the petty feelings of others” RG

Great post. The one I have the most trouble with is the last one. It seems that I am alienating my friends. Am I too needy? Should I make new friends? I certainly don't want to be a lone wolf, but I will do things alone if necessary. I guess I expect more out of others. For instance, I put "x" into a friendship, but assume that they will return that same "x" back to me. However, they do not. This is where I trip up. I don't have any friends now and quite frankly it sucks. But I'm not going to pi…

Continue to build your resume and leave at the best opportunity. I worked for 18 months in the mortgage lending business in the underwriting department. It was 95 percent female. I was a liaison between the mortgage brokers and underwriters who approved the loans. This was before swallowing the red pill. I quit. Wrote an email, unplugged my computer and walked out. Onward and upward.

That's gold right there. Do you just troll these b*tches or what? haha Seriously though. The double standard is beyond ridiculous. How can they not see it?

I'm 32 and having the best time of my life as a bachelor. I was tied down from age 29-31 with a girlfriend in a toxic relationship. Let's say that I've never been happier as a single guy.

In college I thought it would be a good idea to bench press one of the girls I was hanging with on her bed. I don't think I did it with perfect form :). I wasn't an overly jacked juice head either. Just a cockstrong athlete with lots of testosterone pumping. Anyway, yeah, things turned out well that night.

I actually had to let go of some "friends" recently so this kind of hit home for me. The lack of army. But I will build a new one comprised of those of a similar mindset. Awesome post. Thank you.

On point man. I'm the exact same way. I talk way too much. I also project my thoughts onto others, thus I assume they should think like I do. So when I don't get the response I like, I don't understand, and there becomes cognitive dissonance.

Good stuff man. I like the psychological and even physiological elements to your post. Instincts play a large role, no doubt about that. And if you can target them to play a more fundamental role in the specific response you want, well then that's a very good thing. So are you looking to go what route in the medical field? Perhaps a psychologist private practice? Thanks again for the post.

Well, you're way ahead of the curve already, which is a good thing that there are others like you I'm sure. More and more will start to arise. Continue to share with your fellow "alpha" buddies any wise words you gain from here. Be weary of who you discuss this with, but having more young men adopt this perspective and these principles at earlier and earlier ages is certainly a good thing. To your point on spinning plates. To be honest, I wouldn't even try that right now. Perhaps I'm in the mino…

Solid fundamentals there, coupled with the correlation to evolutionary psychology and physiology. Yeah, I've watch his videos many times, usually for training tips and whatnot, but he seems to have a good grasp on many ideals shared by us here.

Well for me being 32, I've seen how social media has changed the game or at least added another dynamic that can be used for or against our advantage. Technology in general to be honest, specifically smart phones and even texting itself. 10 years ago when I was in my final years of college did Facebook just start coming out. Maybe myspace was around there, that's about it. Now with Tinder, IG, Snapchat, FB, and who knows what the fuck else, there's a new dynamic added. And of course texting. The…

Had one today. Was on a conference call among "buddies". I use that term loosely because I'm good friends with only 1 of the 8 that were on the call. The other 7 know each other well. Okay, so I enter into the call and have been having difficulty on my end tech wise. Ex. People not hearing me, feedback, dropped call, etc. Anyway, I finally get on and everyone is speaking freely as if in a group conversation at a friends house, nothing too formal. I enter with "Can you hear me?" One guy says "yes…

Wait, I thought I did put it in r/asktrp. Still don't know the ins and outs of reddit. How do I transfer it if it needs to be? Also more info about this. I have quite a bit experience trolling myself and even catfishing, though it was to get back into a forum board that I previously quit. (They are a tight knit and wouldn't take kind to me quitting, so I infiltrated myself in). Obviously no black ops shadow soldier shit, but still solid nonetheless. Perhaps that's why I'm so suspicious and she w…

Good stuff. Perhaps the fact that these techniques work still create doubt because of our past. We might be a bit snake-bitten by the reaction of women and can't really know one way or another except in person if you haven't met already. In the past, I was not one to approach women, they approached me, but I still didn't have good game whatsoever. Sucked man. But whatever, I guess I'll find out eventually.

Thanks. Yeah I figured it out after I posted haha. Makes sense with the correlation between the AF and BB. I seemed to recall a phrase from back in the day coming from women. "There are men you marry, and there are men you fuck". I think that phrase is an exact analogy to the AF / BB. But I like flipping the script on them (women). If I know what they're up to and can be aware of the situation, it makes my life much calmer and more enjoyable.

Forgive me, I'm new here. But what is AF/BB. I'm assuming AF is alpha fuck, but is BB beta buddy or something like that? Present OP being the AF, and his former self and her new guy being the BB? Is this just referring to the roles that we might play but now recognize clearly? Thanks again. This site has been a great awakening for me and I'm enjoying the non-enjoying.

You can definitely get the PDF version online for free. Big fan of the 48 laws of power. Another good book is "get anyone to do anything" by David Lieberman
