I agree that people who refer to other human beings as objects and then wonder why they can’t establish the connections with others to date, fall in love or even make friends need a dose of self awareness, yes. Also agree that PPD as a whole needs to grow up and accept some basic facts about human nature (men like attractive women. Women like successful men. water is wet.🤯) and lay off the phony moral outrage that the world isn’t a fucking utopia where everyone gets what they want all the time a…

And yet men of PPD on other threads today are applauding not using condoms, going go to asia and fucking women unprotected because they can’t get you for child support once you’re back home, cheering over making abortion illegal, etc. Do y’all ever … ever … ever … gut check the logic in the things you say? Like, ever?

And by definition, average is the central value of a data set. Meaning there is a bottom value in every data set. And that bottom value is way overrepresented in that 30% of sexless men. Men here need to stop butchering the concept of average. Because (generic) you are not frat boy president Chad doesn’t make you average.

Sex does get better for women as they age. Our sexual peak is widely considered to be somewhere between 35 and 45. It makes sense from an evolutionary perspective. It’s like Mother Nature is giving us one last hurrah

Generalizable doesn’t mean it applies to every man. 40% is shameful and says something about mens commitment to their children versus women’s, regardless of whether or not that sits well with you.

since you came at me like I was some dude who knew nothing about egg donation or female reproduction, I was setting you straight. My point was the reason women are not doing this now is emotional, not physical. Even if you remove women in the age range who are obese and have a clinical diagnosis of depression or other health problem that still leaves the vast majority of 20 something women. You saying you personally don’t think it’s fucked up doesn’t negate the fact that the proposition of there…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 10:34 PM
3

Sadly, it is. Nearly 40 percent of fathers are no longer in contact with their children a year after divorce. That’s not counting fathers who weren’t married to their child’s mother. It seems PPD is only comfortable with this being “generalizable” when it can be blamed entirely on women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 10:28 PM
2

This doesn’t addresses my point whatsoever. I didn’t ask for a description of how egg donation works. I’m a woman who just so happened to have eggs frozen when we found out I couldn’t carry another baby to term and we wanted to leave the surrogate option open. Care to address what i actually said?

/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 07:47 PM

This sounds like a great option until you realize it’s already available to women with disposable income in the west and the reason they’re not doing it is because it’s kinda fucked up when you think that you’ll have a bunch of kids running around that are yours genetically. Men can easily ignore their offspring. Women can’t.

He’s 15. He was still going to day care just a few years ago. And once again — THIS IS NOT ABOUT COST OF DAY CARE. The choice to stay home because day care costs too much is a choice most poor people are NOT in a position to make. Once again they figure out other arrangements when day care is too expensive. Because you can Google the cost of day care doesn’t mean you have any insight into what goes on in poor communities in a country you don’t even live in. (Or to be fair maybe you do live here …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/22 04:11 PM

I raised a child. I’m well aware of the cost of childcare. The point here isn’t the cost of daycare. It’s the fact that poor people have to work. They have no other choice. They just have to figure out ways to get someone to watch their kids when they’re working. The other point is anyone who lives in America already knows this.

I’ve been here a long time. men on this sub who cry the most about being insulted and attacked “cuz misandry!” are the same ones who have no qualms about slinging racist and sexist insults at me. Single is defined as “not married, living with a partner or in a committed romantic relationship.” Doesn’t say not dating or having no sex at all. Also this is irrelevant to my point. Just because more men today are single doesn’t mean a bottom barrel dude isn’t still bottom barrel. If a teacher grades on the curve, and the average score for the class goes from a C to a B, that doesn’t make the F students any smarter.

28% is a lot but it’s not a majority. Esp when the same study showed 18% of women were also sexless. It’s also presumptuous if you to believe all of that 28% had no options whatsoever to have sex. Like none of them could have gone to a sex worker? How many of them hadn’t even tried in the last year to meet women? If one thinks they’re an incel because sex isn’t falling in their lap they’re not an incel. They’re a vocel.

Barring an unusual circumstance — like a special needs child or following a husbands career that requires many relocations or living in an area that would require a commute so long you’d miss the day care pick up window or something, there’s no reason any woman can’t work and raise kids. Cmv: men think they want a woman who has raw sexual desire for them, who’s wild in bed. But when they get it, they start feeling insecure that they won’t be able to satisfy that raw desire forever and she’ll turn to other men. This is where all the whining about wanting women to fuck on the first date while simultaneously shaming women who do comes from. Men want to unlock raw desire in women but when they do, it scares them because they fear they can’t control it.

How does that disprove what I said? If I’m going to have a FWB, might as well have a FWB who has a boat and luxury box season tickets right? An exaggeration but the point is people who have money are fun to hang around with because they can afford to do cool things. And no I’m not saying people who don’t have money are not fun. But it shouldn’t be this hard to grasp that money buys a lot of cool experiences.

Let’s clear this up once and for all. Money DOES NOT make men attractive. It DOES NOT influence physical attraction in anyway. Money provides a desirable lifestyle. Duh. This is why rich people have tons of friends and those who lose their money often find they have a lot fewer friends — male and female. Even for someone who isn’t a gold digger, being with someone who has money is a huge bonus. Edit: LOL at your user name

I’ve been saying for years the market takes care of people who overvalue their product. That so many people here, especially the men, are soooooo obsessed with being mad that there are people wanting partners out of their league is stupid. Why do you care what complete strangers do? The answer of course is they themselves think they deserve partners out of their league and are mad they can’t have them. Human nature is to project the things you resent about your own nature onto others.

Question: if “western culture” is so “degenerate,” why not avoid it? Why willingly move to a “western culture” just to complain about how awful it is? And if you’re not living in a “western culture”but spending all of your time complaining about how awful it is, why? Why complain about something that isn’t even relevant to you?

There are different types of relationships under the monogamy banner. The issue is that you can have a genuinely horrendous relationship, yet because it's LTR - it get's treasured and defended. Really? And what's even more fucked up - the ones that do try to redefine what a GOOD monogamous relationship is - are feminists that think women have no instincts, have only legitimate complains and men just need to be easier to manipulate and compliant with no actual feelings, wants or desires that diff…

Divorce isn’t the opposite of monogamy. If your argument that is people are less interested LIFELONG monogamy, OK. But even then I’d argue it’s not that people are any less interested in it, it’s just far more socially acceptable to get divorced today. It’s not mens fault. It’s not women’s fault. it’s up to each individual to live their life, do the work and make the choices that will make them happy. Many cities have tried opening more EH for men and they don’t fill up. Where are they supposed to get funding if people aren’t using them? It’s also not true that there is NO EH for men. No So maybe know what you’re talking about before you open your mouth Emergency housing, shelters, are to provide a place to stay to get off the street for 24-72 hours. The reasons there is more EH for women is that 1) the women usually have children with them — the men don’t. 2) there isnt a demand for mens EH. You can’t operate housing and keep it open when it’s empty. Transitional housing is meant to provide a temporary living arrangement for anywhere from a few weeks to a year or more. Most …

The average child support payment is $400 a month. That isn’t shit. If there’s “extra” the kids are being seriously neglected. Though I’m sure like most childless 20 somethings here who probably still live at home you think providing for a kid costs like $25 a month.

You need more than leaf crops to maintain a balanced diet. It also sounds like you’ve never lived in an east coast city. There may be tons of vacant land in Detroit and Cleveland but DC and NY? Not so much. I’m not saying gardens aren’t a good idea. It’s just not going to solve the problem on its own.

Yep! I so love being lectured on how to parent by college kids
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 01:40 PM

The other problem is there’s no room for people to grow their own food in cities like they did 100 years ago. Unless your saying the government should invest in creating mass gardens. Even then Who has time for that?

We’re not talking about poor people. We’re talking about women who “gave up their career” to stay at home. That was the comment you responded to. let’s use a little common sense here - if they’re broke, she can’t afford to quit her job and be a stay at home mom, can she? My bad for thinking you’d argue in good faith and admit you made some wrong assumptions and just own up to it.

Don’t need to given that alimony isn’t gender specific. Here’s the thing. I don’t believe in alimony except in very limited cases — a military spouse, a disabled spouse, etc. i thinks it’s outdated and unnecessary. At the same time, it’s still shows a deep lack of logic to argue that you want to marry a financially dependent woman and then get pissed off when she’s financially dependent. The best thing a man can do is marry a woman who is not a financial risk. If you don’t want that, because you…

I’m really starting to think this is a language issue. If I say: “men WHO like red shirts are more likely to wear red shirts,” and you come back at me with “that’s not true!!! All men don’t like red shirts!!” I can only conclude that you don’t understand the English language. “Men who do X” means the subset of men who do X, not all men. Are you following me?

It’s capitalism as much as it’s Uncle Sam. Fast food and packaged food companies set up more operations in poor areas because that’s what people buy when they’re on a tight budget. Fitness companies don’t open gyms in poor neighborhoods because there isn’t the disposal income. Cities don’t build parks in poor neighborhoods because, in their minds, the lower local tax revenues can’t support the maintenance. And so on.

So then you found your soulmate on your first date and lived happily ever after then? What’s that — no? The point is the idea that dating should be easy is the result of a generation of overgrown children who were taught by their helicopter parents that everything is life should come easy to them and when it doesn’t it’s an injustice. It takes some work to find the right person for you. That cannot be disputed. This is why people date, as it turns out.

Who can succinctly summarize the tenets of TRP in 4-5 bullets?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/22 01:12 PM
6

God I wish there were a PPD where people who have actual experience with sex, dating and relationships could have conversations based in reality and not rhetoric, misinterpreted pill theories, and tradcel bullshit. Like the old days.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/22 01:11 PM

OP, can you even summarize TRP and it’s main tenets?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/22 01:03 PM

short term hookups Your comment was specifically about marriage. Don’t change the goalposts now. Also men making over 250k are in the top 5% of earners, and they almost always marry women from their same class/social circle. So to answer my first question — yeah, it is time to play cognitive dissonance.

Funny, because I’ve been banned from all the mens subs, including two that I never even visited. Of course I know you’re not being serious. You’re just doing your daily victimhood exercises.

Then nerdy stem guys with 6 figure salaries should have no problem getting women to marry them. Correct? Or is this where we play another round of cognitive dissonance?

You act like a relationship is a pair of shoes and all you to do is just grab one and put them on and problem solved. But then most men on PPD think men by default are good partners and all they have to do is be upright and breathing. Anything more is “wIMMinZ tOo pICkEeeee!”

Entry level jobs were never “fulfilling.” That’s the whole point. It’s an “entry” to better jobs with more money and responsibility. And wtf. If you said to my grandparents generation that a job was supposed to be “fulfilling” they’d laugh at you. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t seek work we enjoy but at the end of the day we all work to pay our bills and few of us wouldn’t quit if we hit the lottery regardless of how “fulfilled” we are. I have an idea. Some of the men who fear negative results from approaching a woman like getting in trouble could be on the spectrum. And that’s legit since people in the spectrum often annoy and upset people who don’t know because they can’t read social cues and know when to stop talking and move on. And lots of times autistic men are socially isolated from other men so they don’t have anyone to help them. How about a service that provides normie wingmen for autistic men trying to meet women? He…

Not quite. The end game isn’t just understanding that our biology compels our attraction and romantic urges and being bitter about it. In general, more young men having trouble with dating is a symptom of larger economic and social issues in society that are affecting men and boys. Lack of economic security, rising unemployment rates, the growing education gap. The mistake we made was not removing barriers for women to achieve equality, it was not giving men and boys the blueprint to replace traditional ideals of sexism, machoism, breadwinning, fighting wars with something else. Divorce rates have been on steady decline since the 80s. Yeah...and so have the marriage rates. And? It’s not that it’s a factor per se. It’s that America is a very class driven society and very segregated by class. People live around, work with and socialize with people who are like them, who are of their class. Whom they share similar backgrounds and lifestyle with. And it’s what they seek, conscious or not, when they date and marry.

the guys they fuck are in very different mental buckets than guys they would not fuck Which has nothing to do with friendship. It’s that she doesn’t want to fuck you. She is not attracted to you. Y’all need to just leave it at the and accept it. You still haven’t explained your earlier comment.

Again, plenty of names we all know about that easily disprove your statement. But predictable next move with the ad hom. It’s like arguing with grade schooler.

Yeah no dude. First off there’s more to being HV than being rich. Plenty of rich men are hideous in looks and personality and are fine with buying a trophy wife that doesn’t give two shits about them because they’ll never get a woman to tolerate them without it. Second if we’re talking about actual extremely HV men, I don’t need to list the hundreds if not thousands of them who married women their own age or not in their 20s in their first and second marriages. Because we all know who they are.

Being attracted to younger women and actually wanting a younger woman as a life partner are two different things. And given that the most HV men of our society chose women their own age 99% of the time says your theory is a wishful thinking attempt at revenge porn.

Desirable women get what they want. They’re not coming to Reddit to complain about age gaps in relationships made up of people they don’t even know. No one who is a mature well adjusted adult and/or not highly deluded about their own value is settling. Most people do not have the mentality of a sexually frustrated porn addicted 15 year old virgin obsessed with his fantasies of fucking all the hot girls in his class.

I said women do not view sex and friendship separately. They are not separate buckets that do not overlap. That is a male incel solipsism that sees friendship as some kind of sentence of judgement on his failure as a man. In reality friends can be our casual partners, our exclusive partners and/or our life partners. Or sometimes, just platonic friends. The point is being friends with a man is not mutually exclusive of wanting to sleep with him — or actually sleeping with him. Meaning the real is…

So the 10 million women who’ve been to see chippendales are there because they’re attracted to their personalities? Women don’t need “plausible deniability.” No mature western woman is worrying about upsetting some shut in tradcel’s worldview of what women should be doing/should be attracted to.

Likely a hold over from traditional views that women are not sexual beings in our own right and are only “awakened” sexually by men. Something trads, male and female, are much more comfortable with. I’ve said this a million times — if female sexuality is “responsive,” explain Magic Mike. As far as your dating life in 2022, it doesn’t mean shit. Pay no attention.

Meaning women tend to view sex and friendship as two distinct forms of interaction. No we don’t. Even women in this sub have said they don’t want to be friends with attractive men, they want to sleep with them The women on this sub as just as odd as the men.

45% of married men have watched porn. A decent amount of them have watched it with their SO.

The social value of sex? Women tend to view friendship and sex as a binary choice. 😂😂😂😂

How pathetic is it to be a young man — healthy and able — defining your entire life and existence by “hypergamy.”

Online dating also shows that men swipe on anything and everything. Does that mean men find 100% of women attractive? Online dating is 80% men and 20% women with at least half of those “women” being bots and chicks selling their OF, webcams, insta what the fuckever. That you can even hint that OLD bears any semblance of real life suggests you’re so far removed from the SMP it’s not funny. “Everest level” LOL. You guys seem to forget that everyone on PPD is not a shut in social pariah who doesn’t…

What about the billions of women who don’t fit into either of your categories of promiscuous OR near virgins? Unless you’re trying to say having 3 partners makes her promiscuous. You probably are and this is why no one will ever take you guys seriously on this topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 11:26 PM

Who are the “women” saying this. Most women do not find most men unattractive. They find most men who are the type to congregate online to whine that feminism is why they can’t get laid unattractive. Bottom line men on this sub need to accept that they are not average and stop pretending their experiences are even remotely common.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 02:07 PM

Do men on this sub think having a n count preference and coming to PPD to talk about it makes them somehow relevant in an SMP they’re not participating in?

Stop saying women don’t like nice guys. Women don’t like BORING guys just because they act nice to her. if you’re telling yourself and others than women reject you because you’re nice, do some self reflection because that’s definitely not it.
