It's interesting where certain lines are drawn. For example, when some things goes in her favor undeservably so, my wife sometimes like to justifies it by claiming that she as a woman deserves to be treated a little bit better because women suffered certain forms of repressions for centuries. I then proceed to ask her if she ever faced those unjusticies, or if I ever caused those unjusticies to anyone, including her. Answer is of course NO to the both. Why would anyone need to be in a more favor…

My answer was to the question, men of which country have it better, and Saudi men have it better than Saudi women, in general

And vast majority of women are also basically slaves

This is totally fine. It should be a free, equal market that sorts itself out. What is not fine is if it was the other way around you'd see cries and cries about cisgender white male patriarchal domination over poor (trans) women (of color) or whatever nonsense and total twitteration about no women being shortlisted for the Costa award.

Yes, women's pain in war is less than men's, and is not even debatable. I'm not saying they don't suffer tremendously, they obviously do, but we can't compare it to actual suffering of people who are being grinded meat in those wars.

Yeah, what is: prolonged suffering in war, being in combat to death, having to take multiple lives, watching your friends die in front of you, not being able to sleep, eat or shit properly for months and years, having fucking PTSD if you ever come home, being tortured as a POW, what is all that compared to a suffering of a woman.

I wonder how many men were killed there in the last 20 years and how many women. I guess at least 90%10.

Ok, we can argue that physically they can't match it, but we can't match their potential for verbal abuse, and no one is talking about that.

I'm not even going to think about it. Die-hard Potter fan since childhood but enough is enough.

Well, a lot of things are unfair but doesn't mean that someone should have less rights just based on a gender and biology. It's the whole premise of a feminist movement after all and I'm all in, but for all genders.

She can abort, so no childbirth, yes? Or maybe don't have sex if you are not married to the guy, no? This can have a lot of logical gymnastics.

Well, in that case men and women have equal amount of rights.

Ok, I agree that some of these man are pieces of shit but I'm commenting on inequality of choice in case of women and men. Women have 3 chances for a choice in the matter over a 9-10 months long period of time and men only one at the very beginning.

Women can decide not to have baby 2 times (don't have sex and abort) but men just once (don't have sex). After birth, women can again decide not to have a kid by giving it for adoption which man can't do. So women have 3 choices in a long sequence of time (they can change their mind up to 10 months after sex) but men only have one option at the very beginning and that's it. You really think that someone wants to be a father and only choose NOT TO BE ONE because of "paying your way"?

We are talking facts not feelings. Fact is that women have MORE rights in this area than men have. If abortion and giving for adoption weren't rights, I would be for child support, but you can't have a cake and eat it too. Or you can obviously if you are a woman.

He's still going to grow up without father. You can't force that. This is just about power and money. This guy is shitty yeah, but I was just commenting on other comments about child support and how that system is broken.

Everyone is saying "just get the child support". But why can a guy be legally obligated to accept a child and pay for it if women can decide to not keep a child and abort. So women can decide to give up but men can't. Equality, right?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
