Communists are exceptionally rare these days. Unless you think that socialism/democratic control of, say healthcare (or specific industries) is the same as communism? Communism is a pretty specific thing but socialism is more ambiguous.

I wish more people would understand this. "The far left" is communism. Not misandry. You could have misandry on the far right as well. It's just a different flavor (usually religious/the religion of the time). What people here refer to as "the far left" is really not even related to government at all. It's just social movements. Men's rights and women's rights are not Left or Right.

I mentioned Baby Boomers because it demonstrates the issue of sex diversity with doctors is mostly solved. It's only a matter of time; if we do nothing and just wait for the previous generation to retire (or die) no one will be able to point to doctors as a profession that lacks sexual diversity. In fact, many professions are like that. Not just with sex but with all sorts of minorities. When looking for evidence of discrimination one must choose careers wisely :)

Medically, "less active" isn't really a differentiator in this context. Both men and women can gain weight by being less active but men will lose weight faster when performing the same level of activity for physiological and metabolical reasons. The way you worded it made it sound like women are less active than men but the truth is that basically everyone (in the US) is less active than historical norms. So it's not really a good comparison.

Just an FYI (not that it belays your point): Women make up about 1/3 of doctors and lawyers in the US. Here's a less serious one: Women can wear basically anything and no one will care. If a man wears "the wrong clothes" it can result in anything from public shaming to being fired to being the victim of violence. Simple example: It's 100 degrees outside and women can wear a skirt and shoes with the top exposed (to work) and men still have to wear pants and hot business shoes. There's no flexibility.

I'm sure that if gay people had the option of a simple treatment to change their sexuality many would. It would certainly make their lives easier considering the homophobia present throughout the world. That doesn't make it the right thing to do though. Gender dysphoria is different than sexual preferences. It's a (powerful) disconnect between a person's identity and body. The individual views their body as the thing that is incorrect; not their sexual preferences.

You're making an awful big assumption here: That a fully-developed mail brain would somehow negate gender disphoria. Evidence suggests that it doesn't. Because the gender disphoria doesn't (necessarily) stem from the parts of the brain that develop later in life. What you can get instead is amplified gender disphoria where the individual feels even less like their body represents who they are. Which is probably why suicide rates are so high among transgendered people.

Not really. Different parts of the brain develop at different times. Gender identity has been shown to be detectable in very young children. As in, researchers did a study to try to figure out which kids were going to have gender identity issues at very early ages and after those kids grew up it turned out they were right most of the time. I googled for the study but couldn't find it (my Google-fu for academic papers is weak, sorry).

This is mostly correct but remember that different people have different reactions to medications.
