If you are asking me, all religions are baloney. All children need to be protected from these.

divorce has a very negative connotation in India. "Women" are usually treated as property ( the adultry law reflects this - women can't be sued, but men can be for having a realtionship with married women ) . I do agree though, divorce is the answer here. More appropriately , the guy should have never married her to start with. India has pretty sucky equal rights.

Pretty much the same way women destroy feminism when they generalise men.

Ask the imams, SA and their interpretation of Koran and their implementation of Islam. Do read a book on religious history and women in Islam wrt SA.

I would call this as an affirmative action. Additionally, Islam forbids ( SA version ) mixing between unrelated ( by blood ) of men and women. Hell,.women have very little rights here ( can't drive, step out of the country without the permission from the man of the house, step out of the house. Anything apart from burqa, ... ) I would personally not say this is an issue with men raping everything with a hole. This would be a straw man.

I would blame telly here (Barbie/fairy something ). My niece does the same, wrt "Pink is for girls" . To prove otherwise, I ended up wearing Pink for a week.

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/KzupNglP1WquaBg40wNZvY13EjLhnUM-GGmSMa4ZKAc?feat=directlink based on the context, this can be interpreted as real men can be raped. But yes, rephrasing this would clarify the implication a lot more.

Agreed, but when comparing against dish washing lawn mowing does not sounds physically exerting .

I will go with nallyo2 on this, mental exertion should also be factored in. Working at a desk job can be tiring.

I do believe, she truly believed that the person in question was the offender. This is an issue with human memory, and humans can be lead to believe certain events did happen ( by Cops at stand up line ) . This has been documented multiple times over, and needs to be fixed the police end. One prominent incident, a girl accused her father of rape, which she believed did happen as per her "therapist " which turned out to be a false memory. Gandhi's is treated as the father of India, and most of his "dark" history is usually skipped over. Not someone, I want to be as an Indian.

India also has to deal with rape lie, atleast in Urban areas. http://www.legalserviceindia.com/articles/rape_laws.htm There is movement in India to have a gender neutral law in India http://vandelgpl.blogspot.com/2011/03/gender-neutral-rape-laws-in-india.html The adultery law is crazy out here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adultery#Asia "adultery is defined as sex between a man and a woman without the consent of the woman's husband. Throwing a few examples of crimes directed against women There is a lot more, from where this came. I assume, you have never lived in India, which has a very different culture from West. Women-only cars are not justified, I disagree. India is known for quite a few things http://www.gendercide.org/case_infanticide.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid_throwing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eve_teasing Then again, We also have to face http://www.498a.org/ . Walking a thin line between working with equality and "legal terrorism" . Publicly insulting, humiliating and assaulting men - for trying to board a train no less - is also completely unacceptable. This I agree with . India als…

This does not belong here. I do agree, bashing is not right, but then again, I do not not the reasons for the bashing. The entire reason for female only coaches is to minimize sexual harassment of females in overly crowded trains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women-only_passenger_car
