38	Men Don’t Respect Disputes Between Women Ugh, this is true. I had a disagreement with a project manager over how something was being handled. The argument turned a bit animated, and my (male) manager actually rushed across the room to come tell us that our argument was 'silly' and 'getting nowhere' . Or he tried to lure me somewhere else after the failed basement attempt. I saw him once after, when he pitched up as a temp worker where I was employed (different company from where we met). 21	Many women are unsafe at the workplace. I am glad (?) to say that I had a positive response to my complaint about a security guard getting creepy. But honestly, I only think it was handled well because I report to an awesome woman. I can't say the same for a previous place I worked at - the old toad lured me to his desk under the guise of helping him design a supplier database.
