It’s actually quite easy, if both extremes, or just even both sides, think you are wrong, then you are probably on the right way.

Yikes to the deleted comment that essentially said you are free to criticise.

Can someone tell the teacher that boys and men actually worry about getting attacked when out at night alone? At least I do, it happens. Edit: also, the talking to the parents part won’t help at all. The points he made I have made for myself quite a while ago and while give them on, but they haven’t helped me manage a society that ignores my problems and then tells me I’m responsible for them. I like reeves, but so much gets ignored here, once again it hurts men more trough misinformation

I fully agree with you. The only thing is, I’m German. Especially in the current situation I have to consider what can happen if shit hits the fan, and I can’t exclude conscription in the current circumstances. Allround fitness tests would do a good job at picking men or women who are able. Who isn’t able should still be open for non-frontline or admin, as it would still help relieve the frontline.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/04/24 07:09 AM

I agree, but saying they have no place at all is seeing it too easily/one-sided. Quite a lot of guys aren’t up to it either, they get trained for it. Though I’d be extremely happy if non-frontline was implemented. Last I heard my country even made sure that a trans-woman still has to serve, and a trans-man won’t, so just cementing the problem.

The gun is the greatest Equalizer. No excuses. Besides, they could do admin or behind the frontline work, but they won’t do that either.

Which is funny in and of itself. The 8cm thing was the least interesting thing. If not the 14cm with the wig, then the truck 19cm/bus 23cm closer would also have been better.

Because the extremists are the only ones who still dare to protect any form of masculinity. Throughout social media I found maybe two guys with a healthy relationship to their masculinity, who also have the necessary confidence to upload it.

That’s why I said that people with hurtful mindsets shouldn’t be included. People who proclaim to know the problems of growing up as a man, and misinterpreting the causes of it, are who I mean. Someone who doesn’t proclaim to know the problems, or actually spoke with enough of us to get it, shouldn’t be excluded.

While they didn’t grow up in it, they will still experience the misandry. They will just not understand where it suddenly came from. They will not have all the problems cis men have, but I’d still say that there are problems they face that are men’s rights problems, and thus should be included. I would make exemption for people like in the post though. There isn’t much use, though, if their line of thinking is still hurtful to men. But even then I’d argue that we should first discuss such subjec…

Taking America is one of the best ways to get a faulty picture. I’m German, and what you describe doesn’t ring true here. At most the part of the economy, but then you go to any other western country with a rising economy and that problem is gone. Most western countries don’t have the same problems as the US. At least not as extremely pronounced.

who provides no evidence I’m not a fan of him either, but you stormed in, made accusations, gave no evidence for named accusations, and then think you got everyone when they don’t feel like putting more effort in than you even thought about. This post is a cesspit. Usually posts here are civilised, this one isn’t. This quickly devolved into “what can women even do” which is exactly as dumb as the women in the video questioning what men can even do. It’s pretty clear who’s better at what and both are equally needed. Women are better in social jobs, men better in object-oriented jobs. I swear to god this thread reads like a mirrored version of 2XC. I’m not saying everyone here is like that, but the people who are don’t get enough cont…

Speaking specifically about the women in my class- I wouldn’t. But not because of their learning ability or anything else. But it doesn’t speak well of them as Individuals that they choose to invest 2 years into a topic they don’t even have much interest in. Edit: stop stealth editing. Add the edit afterwards, otherwise the thread makes less sense
/r/MensRights13/01/23 11:25 AM

It very much so matters why. It’s the difference between thinking that men are inherently asocial, while men just rather work with things than with people. It’s a bad faith argument. Edit to your stealth edit: I’m not scared, but how can we be mad at groups like FDS or 2XC and then turn around and say women are inferior. Don’t you see the hypocrisy in that?

It doesn’t prove his point at all. They just had fuckall experience in anything computer related. That’s why it’s funny to me, as they still thought to go to an IT school. I don’t agree in so far that women don’t really play chess or game a lot, because that kind of competition isn’t engraved into a woman’s brain, but very much so in a man’s. And that goes for most stuff that can be competitive.
/r/MensRights13/01/23 11:09 AM

I don’t really agree with you, but I have a funny story. When I started going to school to learn the broad IT basics we were a class of 19 with 3 being women. Now, I don’t wanna go after prejudices here, but when asked by the teacher, they didn’t know what an OS was and 2 of them couldn’t handle data managing software (as in folders). It was hilarious.

Men thrive on hardships. We would first need to know that it is one. But the male population (and female, not everyone is a perpetrator) gets gaslit into thinking that men have it easier.

Well that’s rich. Everyone deserves to be able to get a Defense. Obviously someone should go to jail if they did something illegal, but our justice system simple cannot work with saying that a Defense lawyers don’t care about justice. Something about innocent until proven guilty.

Such things always scream bad faith. For every woman homeless now you’ll probably have 2 soldiers homeless later. Takes one really dense person to say that it’s sexism that they don’t get to die in a war. It’s pretty clear that draft/conscription laws are men-only because of male disposability.

The +power thing always has been weird to me. It means I could be racist (let’s say) against Asians in my home country, but I wouldn’t be a racist when I’m in Japan or China. If such a trait is dependent on location, you messed up the definition.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/09/22 04:18 AM

Because what’s happening to modern dating is seen as „female empowerment“ while completely missing the fact that getting to sexualise yourself even harder than any man did before isn’t empowering, just leaving it up to yourself if you want to be reduced to sex. We are living in a society that has never been as superficial as it has been today

At least voting with your wallet should put this down over time. A billion dollar show that will probably be one of the most hated and money-losing ones. They will not want to learn that ideology doesn’t make for good entertainment, but when there is no more money left over, and no one willing to pay for services only giving that, they have to turn around or lose their status. Marvel killed itself in only a few years.

When it wasn’t about ideology, but the money they actually brought in
/r/MensRights15/08/22 05:47 PM
6

And that’s why, these days, we try to avoid making points where you can’t represent both sides well if the point is to show/compare both sides.
/r/MensRights11/08/22 05:07 PM
6

I said both sides are anecdotal. It does represent them though, just unfairly so. It’s like listing 20 small dads problems and then for the mom just listing -not having good nails -not cooking often
/r/MensRights11/08/22 05:00 PM
6

It should be, but isn’t. That is actually easier to test yourself and get a bigger base to test it. I myself have gotten lots of stares when just going shopping with my nephew once. Of course that’s anecdotal, but seems to be a pretty common experience among dads (and other men going outside with younger relatives) here. Seeing as to how any evidence that can come from this is anecdotal at this point, I’ll just say that the comic isn’t representing dads fairly and leave it at that
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:56 PM
7

And that “the child is the sole responsibility of the mother”-view is commonly seen as outdated today. I’m sorry for you and your mom that your dad still handles it that way, but it isn’t timely anymore and shouldn’t be handled as such
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:51 PM
7

And what is that praise except “congratulations for actually caring about your child” the mere fact that this happens is a problem and shows sexist expectations. But that’s also easily turned around. Find me some dads (and not 60’s type boomer stuff, but dads of this and the last generation) who will ever say anything about 90% of the points for the mom made.
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:46 PM
8

They are comparatively worse to the dad problems they named. But I’d say “get called a pedophile for being out with your son/daughter” is objectively worse than any point on the list
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:41 PM
8

That’s nice and all, but it you are going to present a side, you can’t talk yourself out of your bullshit representation with “yeah but that’s not what we do” well then don’t do it at all
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:36 PM
11

In not naming it as a Problems dads are facing, while taking every point for moms even if it’s little
/r/MensRights11/08/22 04:29 PM

/r/MensRights16/07/22 01:30 PM

You having been SA by a guy doesn’t dismiss your opinions, or makes the post less true. you can write here. And as another person here mentioned, vocally/literally dismissing SA because it was guy-on-guy, is nothing less than victim blaming.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/07/22 07:53 PM
5

Because of unreasonable expectations that may or may not are based on sexism (we are supposed to fight for them, while they can ignore us, and in cases worsen our life)
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/07/22 05:31 PM
1

As of this point it is a fair assumption that both are equally trustworthy. I’m not saying they should’ve believed him, as that is the kind of justice we don’t want, and I agree. I’m saying that it’s wrong that they could just turn around, sue him, and just win, with essentially the same evidence. (Given that we maybe don’t have everything, but for the moment that is the situation, and if more comes up I will acknowledge it no problem)
/r/MensRights11/06/22 01:10 PM
3

Never have I ever heard „man up“ from a man. Only women. Actually, most traits one would associate with toxic masculinity, only women wanted me to have. Most men I know are the „live and let live“ type and basically only support.
/r/MensRights10/06/22 06:09 PM
4

Not at all. Considering that a reverse-accusation was made by the female colleagues, but opposed to the man, they were believed. Same amount of evidence on both sides. Justice
/r/MensRights10/06/22 06:02 PM
1

Same for me. It’s 3am and legislative German is the worst kind.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/06/22 01:32 AM
1

No problem. I actually made a mistake too. Only article 1 and 20 can’t be changed. The ones inbetween still seem to be subject to change
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/06/22 01:26 AM
1

Well there is the point. The principles can’t be changed. And the principle of art. 12a is the defence of the country. So changing it to include women should be legal
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/06/22 01:11 AM
1

Not to my knowledge, no. But art. 12a hasn’t been in use for a decade or longer, so it isn’t really in the minds of people these days
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/06/22 12:40 AM
3

While I completely agree, one can argue that it’s just outdated. Though it may be worth a shot to actually sue against the state for that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/06/22 12:23 AM
10

It can’t enforce that because it’s not the job of the EU. The EU mandates laws that have to be made in the countries, and after that it’s up to the individual country to enforce them. It’s kind of weird for me though. I’m German, and technically such a law would be against art. 3 of what is essentially our constitution. But I guess that’s going to be ignored.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/06/22 11:44 PM
6

Feminists have made it very clear that it’s more about power than actual jobs
/r/MensRights07/06/22 08:21 PM
3

To set those, you already have to ignore a lot of things. So it isn’t like they would start after setting them
/r/MensRights07/06/22 08:18 PM
48

But hey, feminism is for equality of both genders /s
/r/MensRights07/06/22 08:16 PM
1

Is it though? Many things have been cancelled already because it was said that they discriminate against women. Usually with contrarian evidence being ignored.
/r/MensRights03/06/22 09:17 AM
3

If it’s the insurance policy instructing them, it’s still discrimination. Just from someone else. If unisex isn’t possible 2/2 is a good alternative
/r/MensRights29/05/22 06:05 PM
3

Why is that. They are set up toilets. They are all equally built. Why shouldn’t you be able to make them unisex
/r/MensRights29/05/22 06:01 PM
5

Oh you didn’t get my point. Anything that starts with „could“ isn’t a real answer.
/r/MensRights29/05/22 05:58 PM
8

It could be the lord himself telling them to only set one up for men. It’s not an answer
/r/MensRights29/05/22 05:57 PM
1

Same. Atm I’m fat (178cm/120kg) and I have lost weight. I didn’t lose weight because I don’t like my appearance, it’s just worse life quality. (Still losing weight, gonna try to shoot for 90-100kg)
/r/MensRights25/05/22 09:39 AM
0

It’s only an insult if understood as one. And to people which put a lot of value into their appearance, that may come across as an insult. Also, delivery is also a factor in how it can be understood
/r/MensRights25/05/22 07:36 AM
5

No, not at all? He is asking why one form of discrimination is okay but the other isn’t
/r/MensRights16/04/22 12:06 PM
3

Equality? No. Privileges? Yes.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 11:55 AM

/r/MensRights08/09/21 10:12 PM
46

I think the insult part is where she said that they have nothing she hasn't seen before. I don't know if it counts as an insult, but it shows a lack of respect that is really disturbing, as usually the assumption can be made that men too know how the women's parts look like, wouldn't make it better though if a man went into a woman's bathroom. Sorry for the run-on sentence. English isn't my first language and I'm not always that good with grammar.
/r/MensRights08/09/21 04:18 PM

/r/MensRights20/06/21 09:11 AM

/r/MensRights05/06/21 05:47 PM

Rather be opressed to stay at home, than opressed to go to war, no? Especially since most conscription laws today still only name men as available for conscription.
/r/MensRights05/06/21 05:20 PM

Rather stay at home with the kids, or if necessary work at a factory than go to war
