Maybe it's a bit mental to. They view themselves as heros. After all, Muslims believe its better to die fighting than to be persecuted, and to add, view foreign armies as colonists. 571cals for Cheetos vs 518cals for corn chips, both 100g. I'm pretty sure I eat 150-200g in one sitting, so that's like 30-40% of my target intake in a snack. This is why I dislike chips. though some of the calories seem to come from fat, the majority of which is the healthier type. My family doctor also said that chips in guac and chips might the item unhealthy.

+1. To add. Rather than a diet. Just look at the calories in everything non essential you eat, memorize it, and try to cut out a few items you get little "enjoyment per calorie" from. I cut out crackers, avoid chips (all types) and switched ice creams brands (75% enjoyment at 50% calories. Switch from Häagen-Dazs to local company). Soda and chocolate aren't too bad by calorie, crackers/chips are horrible. Gauc and chips isn't healthy.

Grab leap call options (2 years) of a 3x etf in a mid recession and hold for a while. Smart leverage matters more than time in the market. I'm 24 holding over 50% cash. I've tried day trading suncore, enbridge and Canadian telecoms for a month, I don't think it worth the time and stress unless I'm trading with over 10k (ideally 20K Canadian). Majority of my trades were positive. I think in the future I'll swing trade options. Investopedia now has options in their Simulator, so I'ma practice that.
