I know you're hurt and angry. But consider this ample proof that this woman is no good for you. You are the better person. But it is not your place to ruin the image of your STBXW's image as a mother to your kids. The kids probably already know something. Let them form their own opinions and make their own choices. Be the best dad you can be!!

Use this time to work on you. You have no control over the process. So why not just own it. Become the best version of yourself. Start working out. Pay attention to your diet. Focus on the kids. Reconnect with old friends and figure out ways to socialize and meet new people. And let yourself feel all the sadness, the anger etc. Do not hold that back. Your mental health depends on it. You are going to need it. There are alot of men who auto delete themselves because this time is super dark and it…

You are still looking at her with your heart. Men, especially late 30s/40s may see her completely differently. You are doing great man. I am in your shoes. Figure out places to go out socially and reconnect with your old friends. They will carry you through this, I promise. You will start to have good days. And you will start to look at other women and get…

Same I had to do that this past Monday. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I literally broke down on the way to my house and sobbed in my own driveway before hand. Telling my kids didn't even seem to bother my wife. Emotionless. I don't even know what planet she is on.

With all due respect, your wife is a b*tch A selfish, undeserving b*tch Your kids will be fine. They have a great dad. And they know that. The woman in your new relationship is the prize because you have searched out qualities in a woman that you really want because you have seen what you don't want in your wife. If you choose your wife, it may be good for a time (like a couple of weeks) but she will not respect you and will separate again very soon.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
