Straight women reading seddit...why?Following on from that thought... the best "defence" against the ideas suggested in seddit would almost certainly be to approach things completely differently. Going out to a bar, waiting for people to approach you and trying to filter out sedditors is unlikely to be practical. Instead, the obvious answer is to go out and actively search for new guys, and get to know them on your terms... | /r/seduction | 25/12/10 11:02 PM
Straight women reading seddit...why?I'm cynically tempted to suggest that the correct phrasing is "so they can try to screen you out". From what I can tell (and I'll be honest, I'm mostly an inactive lurker here, so haven't tried any of the advice), seddit isn't really suggesting anything that radically new, so much as pointing out what works for others, and that practice makes perfect. It seems like the biggest difference is seddit encourages consciously thinking about what you're doing... | /r/seduction | 25/12/10 10:48 PM
Straight women reading seddit...why?Hope you don't mind me asking, which posts and why have they made you feel bad for being a girl on reddit? | /r/seduction | 25/12/10 10:36 PM
Are women aware of the pickup community now?Given my first introduction to the idea was through a female friend (who was sleeping with the guy in question, on and off), yes. I think the lesson here is that there is no single solution. Much of what you can learn on seddit will work with many of the women you meet, irrespective of whether they consciously realise what you're doing. Sometimes it won't, and you'd need a different solution. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing. | /r/seduction | 07/12/10 10:25 AM
What nonalcoholic drinks can I order?I stand there with my girly pink drink and lord the place. I've always wondered if it's just me that goes for freakishly coloured drinks because they're interesting. Midori & orange comes out sludge green. Creme de Menthe & Baileys looks like something that oozed out of a toxic waste barrel (being pale, opaque green). I used to know others... | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 04:28 PM
What nonalcoholic drinks can I order? If you ask/tip nicely, the bar staff can probably line up shot-glasses of water for you... | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 04:25 PM
Don't be afraid of showing your interestsSo are you saying that girls are excited to hear you're an avid chess player? I don't believe it. I think people will be interested in anything, if you can sell it correctly. I'll be honest, I haven't a clue where you'd start with making chess conversationally interesting, though... | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 10:10 AM
/r/seduction should read this comment and the article linked in the submission if you haven't already (sex with someone who has Asperger's)If you're trying to compare sedditors to people on the autism spectrum, well, fuck you. I don't think hollowgram is trying to compare, I think hollowgram is (correctly) guessing that some readers of seddit will be high functioning autistics, and the article/comment will be of interest to them. I'll be honest, the comment did little for me; it sounded like someone who might be obsessive-compulsive, and rather socially awkward, but that was it. The article was more interesting (although not necess… | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 01:42 AM
Kino Escalation: How to?That's rather brilliant, thank you. Reading it feels like I've been staring at a connect-the-dots for years, and someone comes along and fills in the lines! | /r/seduction | 19/11/10 12:07 AM
