This is where I have been lacking. In retrospect, I feel this is a huge part of my problem. I’m starting cold approaches today. Get myself in the swing of things while playfully gaming my wife.

I started throwing old clothes. Making room to do a round of shopping. I’m quite over due for clothes.

Past week added conditioner to the shower routines. I started using pit grit to combat stinky arm pits. If deodorant doesn’t help enough this stuff is great. I also picked up a new cologne and started combing my hair daily instead of defaulting to a hat. Feeling good so far with those changes. Wife already began to make comments. But this is for me. Her hampster wheel spinning is just an added benefit.

There's another topic available about what it's like to have a math degree and share a budget with someone who doesn't have a math degree. But the short version is "STFU and be more patient", which is surprisingly versatile advice. I know that feeling all to well. But let me generalize that for you: There's another topic available about what it's like to have a math degree and share a life with someone who doesn't have a math degree. But the short version is "STFU and be more patient", which is …

I see plenty of Business books. Thought you might like some investing books: Bogleheads Guide to Investing If you read any read this one. check out the Bogleheads wiki too. The Four Pillars of Investing All About Asset Allocation Another great read. I always refer back to this book. The Intelligent Investor An older book but a classic. Quite a dry read. Same era as How to Win Friends and Influence People. The Wall Street Journal Complete Money and Investing Guidebook If you know jack shit about …

Agreed. I had hernia surgery in December and that's basically what I did. I went walking outside but made a point to go to the gym and walk on the treadmill just to maintain the habit. Edit: Typos

Aren't pancakes shit test? /s But seriously, I'm 4 months in and still consider myself a neophyte and I've noticed these things myself. Great new rules. Weed out the noise

Fitness I'm just returning to the gym from recovering from hernia. I will lift at least 3 days a week. Diet I already track my food daily but I will now start to focus on meeting my macro goals. Hygiene I have recently changed up alot in this front but I do need new daily cologne. Style I'm already in the process of replacing my wardrobe but i will further this by obtaining new clothes and discarding more old. Game this is where I need the most work. The is is also where I'll do the most reading…

I'm giving my wife a hot date with me. Well to be more specific I bought a gift card to a fancy restaurant and a promise for my parents to take the kids for a weekend. To prepare her for the hot date, I got her a gift card to neiman marcus to buy something pretty to wear, one to Victoria Secret to buy something sexy to wear and a gift card to her nail place. Edit: she had been saying she wants time to shop alone without the kids. So hence the gift cards gives her that.
