Well some are hypocrites what can we do about that, same way some want to cheat but dont want their partners to do it. Ego is a reason but studies is also a factor ,a part of it.

Men who chose less promiscuous women do it because its a effective strategy for choosing mate when you have options. For some men they dont feel exclusive when the women is too promiscuous which is the core part of monogamy its not the same as physical features or other characteristics.

Some people prefer complete monogamy . The same reason some would be single rather in a polygamous relationship. Some men dont value it too much and compromise . Some value complete monogamy a lot for them they rather be single than compromise. Its just the feeling of being exclusive.

They probably dont know about it consciously. I dont believe in pair bonding theory, correlation doesnt mean causation but promiscuous women are more likely to be unstable and cheat doesnt mean all are like that. If you have more options then its efficient to weed them out when you chose your mate.

yes the ego is different but doesnt mean its invalid. Just wanted to make it clear that people who prefer complete monogamy do it for the same reason to why people prefer serial monogamy. People who prefer serial monogamy over polygamy do it for the same reason 'ego'. More ego doesnt mean invalid.

isnt it because of ego then?

Then you can call women not wanting their spouse to have extramarital sex as female ego.

ok ill give you the answer . you dont want to him to seek it somewhere else because you want to be exclusive and special, so it does matter to you. Men slut shame because maybe they dont feel exclusive and have bigger egos, maybe its social conditioning, maybe its instinct or whatever. Saying sex doesnt matter to you is kinda hypocritical. The way you dont want your spouse to have extramarital sex is similar to slut shaming. It does matter to you.

What would the world gain if men outperfomed women by a significant gap? the world doesnt gain or lose anything. it would just limit diversity. if it is the truth then there is nothing you can do how are you going to prevent women from outperforming men in certain things. why should you do that

not strength but endurance

It’s ridiculous to think physical endurance matters at all in a white collar setting depends on what you do, regular job no. higher positions with more work time and learning new stuff yes. in endurance men are better ultra-endurance woman. in daily life with more work who will do better you think? after looking into your ultra endurance statement im not sure now but i still believe in an ideal society men should outperform women by a significant gap

if your a student and study few hours its insignificant if you work, travel and do other things then its makes a big difference. With better physical strength you can work more hours on deskjobs and you get more time to study after work and other stuff

1)more drive for ambitions(testosterone) 2)more physical strength. not for just physical labor, take 2 engineers man and women with same brain because of physical strength men can spend more time studying or improving themselves due to more endurance. 3)more likely to be intelligent.(this is an unsettled debate, im not sure of this either)

in an ideal society men should outperform women by a significant gap. should traditional roles exist? thats a tricky question

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
