I read the entire thing. Beautifully written, and right at the right time for me — in fact I was thinking about the exact same thing right before I stumbled on your post. You’re perfectly right. I feel that I’ve stopped doing things for myself as well, and instead started to do things as a means to an end - usually building a perception of myself.

Pick up hobbies and activities you like and be good at them. That'll give you confidence. That will lead to eventually start giving less fucks about other things, women being one of them. That's when you start seeming less needy and desperate. Basically you need to do other interesting shit in life besides chasing tail.

Start with finding one person, that's the tough part. Make him/her your bro. He/she will eventually intro you to their friends and there you go. When you meet new people, act like you've known them for ages. That's the best way to create rapport!

...that is a possibility. Girls have liked me and told me so too, but I wasn't interested in them. When those same girls start to give off the vibe that they're not interested anymore, it's then that I start to be interested in them. When she came to you to talk you shoulda talked to her. Older ladies like that president can at times be incredibly naive and annoying and it was absolutely not J's fault that that happened. The fact that she came back to you shows that she was interested.
