I'm still in highschool, but when I was younger some girl showed fucking obvious signs that she was into me. Didn't do anything from it. Now that I'm older by a few years, I corrected some of my social mistakes and am having a bit more success with women. The main thing I did was just go for it, not worrying about what could go wrong. You're right, no need to get depressed or lethargic just because of the world's nature. It is the fault of desperate guys who shower these women with compliments and yet never get with her.
