I'd be terrified in a room full of anything. Puppies? Who the fuck put all these puppies in here?! Why am I the only human?! AM I A PUPPY?!?!

So I am superior to women in practically every way? Hmmm.

In order for such a large group of people (regardless of sex) to agree unanimously on a topic, the taser-worthy rules would be so mild that they would most likely be the laws that are already in place.

If literally every women in the society that this is referencing came together and unanimously agreed upon exactly what is taser worthy I'd be fine with it. See, the joke is that that will never happen. Ever.

They hit a certain age and no one sees them as a serious threat anymore. FTFY. Us men are potential sex predators/kidnappers/murderers until the day we die.

Bret Weinstein on Joe Rogan was really really good. Being an evolutionary biologist, he offers a different perspective then, say, Jordan Peterson who is mixed up with similar people.

I'm so glad I cannot be traumatized by seeing my mom die when I was 17. I'll also have to go back to the therapists and correct them when they told me that my father was verbally and emotionally abusive.

When I was in 3rd grade a girl hit me in the shoulder and said I couldn't hot her back because she's a girl. I told her if she hits me again I will hit her exactly where she hit me and with my best estimation of the force she used. So she hit me in the shoulder again and I hit her in the shoulder with exactly the same force she used. I didn't have any more problems with her and later found out she had a crush on me. Had she not been a bully, a tomboy, and had she not had two older brothers I pro…

Wow this makes me so mad that I, a male, want to be violent towards someone. looks in mirror YOU On a more serious note, what about depression in males? Are a male's emotions so irrelevant compared to a woman's that we don't even question motivations? Do we really only see a male's actions completely out of context to his emotions?

Personally I'd like to see it get posted on r/twoxchromosomes, but we'd probably have a better chance of posting a picture of my dick there.

Women should be offended by this too, "Oh, OF COURSE it's the woman who has to take care of the kids."

Wait, isn't it literally a matter of empathy?? And aren't both sexes perfectly capable of being turned on by the fact that they are causing intense physical pleasure to another human being?

This reminds me of something my dad taught me as a kid, that it's not impolite to accept an offer. If someone offers to pay for your meal you're allowed to accept. If someone offers you a gift you're allowed to accept. To me this picture is someone offering me a view of their underwear. While it can also be equally polite to decline, that does not mean it is inherently impolite to accept, especially when it is offered of their own free will.

Because men are expendable. The idea that women are weaker/less capable than men and therefore need more protection/help than men helps them as much as (if not moreso) it hurts them.

I don't get why we don't just have more single person only restrooms. I understand that in high volume places that would cause a problem, but even floor to ceiling stalls with heavy doors and a communal bank of sinks would fix it. But no one ever wants to make any sacrifices...

If I eat breakfast I shit right after breakfast. If I don't eat breakfast I shit the next time I eat. The shit is not the food I just ate flying through me but the increased pressure and spike in metabolism must be enough to tell my body "let's start doing things." Not to mention shit building up in me while I sleep. It's completely plausible that someone would have to shit right after eating a meal, especially if they are sensitive, to any degree, to fast food. Medical problem my ass.

I actually wrote a paper on that for a college Composition class. I outlined two problems with TV's and film's portrayal of men in such a way: First and most obviously, it encourages a mental set/confirmation bias towards men. People come to expect men to act that way and when men do (and obviously everyone does now and again) it deepens their belief. Secondly and more interestingly imo, the only reason anyone finds it funny (and c'mon, Homer Simpson is hilarious) is because it is the definition…

You're kind of cherry picking and you've missed some key points. Firstly, obviously cameras wouldn't pick up anything because they would have to see through people. Clearly I'm not referring to someone on the other side of the train using x-ray vision to spot an incident 20 feet away. Secondly For every two people pressing into each other how many are pressing into them? There are so many people literally shoved against the groper. Do I think that means they should notice it every single time? N…

You showed me a packed train, not people being ignorant to what's going on around them. Watching that video I would have to guess how difficult or easy it would be to be aware of the guy pressing into my shoulder touching the woman pressing into my chest and as a pretty spacially aware guy (I'm very aware of my body and what's around it) i do believe I would notice it. Also I assume these people are aware of the issue of women being groped and should have a slightly higher awareness than the ave…

I would think there would be a higher chance of it being seen on a packed train than an empty one. There's probably a sweet spot of enough people close enough to see it and few enough people so they they have line of sight. On a packed train I would have to be right next to them, and there are already a bunch of people right next to them. On an empty train it doesn't really matter how far away I am. I absolutely think they should speak up, really I was assuming that all along but I understand I …

Absolutely agree. Point is that women are safer then they think in these scenarios.

Somehow you either completely misread what I wrote or have no idea how people work. No, they won't beat up creepy looking people, they beat up (or threaten to beat up) anyone who does grab or tries to grab someone's ass. Then other potential grabber will think twice. Edit: But then they try and say that a woman having their ass grabbed is worse then a man experiencing violence, which pisses me the fuck off. They'll assume the man was asking for it in some way, which reminds me of something... Ed…

What really boggle my mind is how some people don't realize that there are vastly more men ready to defend women than attack them. For every man on a train ready to grope/assault/stalk a woman, how many are ready to beat that man to within an inch of his life?

Not to mention the underlying factors that contribute to someone's tendency or ability for violence: confidence, physical strength, competition/desire to be the best, even positive traits like love, and responsibility can motivate a man (or anyone) to act violently to protect someone else. As soon as you declare yourself a pacifist you invite the violent to destroy you. I'd rather make friends with the violent.

Toxic masculinity is a major/THE major contributor to terrorism? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME? I, a 25yo male, have no issue accepting that there is an amount or degree of masculinity that is more hurtful than helpful, and the same goes for femininity. But THAT'S the issue with terrorism? Not religion, culture, societal acceptance, lack of proper education, brain washing...MASCULINITY? Fuckin hell. I can't fucking even.

It gets me thinking again about the idea of what men and women are "allowed" to do in society. I've heard girls complain that men are "allowed" to cat call. No, we're not, but we do it anyway because we've been taught to be rebels (among other things like social acceptance). But because we view girls/women as less threatening than men and men as sex maniacs, it's much more allowable for a woman to objectify a man. Think about an old guy hitting on a young female grocery store employee vs an old …

And what about the suicide and homicide gap? Seriously that's my go to for ending any feminist debate. On the other hand I do my best to stay out of feminist.debates so I can't really say how well it works.
