I feel like modern gender politics is just school yard arguing about who has it worse that adult women took a side on. Both men and women can understand what it's like to a point, but neither can fully understand. Even masquerading as one (like the lady who went as a man for a year) only get's you so far because you spend your whole life as the other. The problem is a lot of women don't even try to understand men, they just assume they know how easy it is.

It's unfortunate humanity is hard-wired for tribal society. People have a innate in-group bias towards people like them. The further down in society you go the more tribal it gets. Only opposing "tribes" bring a group together. Brothers may squabble between each other, until another family starts an argument. Two families that live in a neighbor hood may hate each other until a neighborhood from across town tries to tell them what to do. Two factions in a town or city may constantly step on each …

Back then, it wasn't that women didn't have the urges. It was that they shouldn't have them or they wont be a lady. They are suppose to resist their own nature for whatever reason. That over time translated from "shouldn't" to "don't".

Albinos are a genetic anomaly and literally have no color in their skin. Everyone else has color there just sometimes it is so light it doesn’t appear brown at first. Do you really think white people are actually pure white?
/r/MensRights12/02/14 08:06 PM
6

Please stop calling all people that aren't westerners "brown people" . There are no white or black people, all humans are just a shade of brown. Saying anyone who is western is "white" and everyone who isn't is "brown" is counterproductive to getting people to work together and just further separates people by preconceived notions of race.

You know, I thought the same thing too. I wouldn't mind both of these apps existing as long as ; 1. both men and women could do it, and 2. They had a way to keep people honest. I wouldn't mind leaving a few of my ex girlfriends a review to steer guys away from them.

Pro-life people think they are defending the "babies" right to life. For pro-choice people it is a woman's rights issue, for pro-life people, it's a human rights issue. I'm pro-choice, but there is no point in being intellectually dishonest.

There are biological differences between ethnicites , which sometimes can include skin color. Skin color alone isn't a good metric to use.

That is a good general rule, but not for dating because men always do the asking. Then again with friends you usually talk about it before hand instead of just assuming .

/r/MensRights09/12/13 07:04 PM

Because we already know what a horrible idea this is thanks to the sexual offenders list. This is infringing on the accuseds rights to get on with their lives. This list could easily be used by vigilantes in attempt to get "justice".
/r/MensRights09/12/13 06:11 PM

It happens any time you try to defend someone accused of sexual assault. The are called monsters or inhuman and you are evil for getting in the way of "justice". Just ask someone on the street what they think should be the punishment for rape, it will either be death or to be themselves raped (sometimes followed by death).

They will have to make a new baby balloon soon. "It's a girl! she has a 4000% chance that she has already been raped and a 8000% chance she is being raped right now!"
/r/MensRights21/09/13 01:37 AM

I think regardless of a gender , a person has a near 100% chance of experiencing some kind of sexual violence. Especially if you define it the way most feminists do. You will meet shitty people in your lifetime, and some times those shitty people will do shitty things. Society tries its best to minimize your chance of meeting these people, but it will happen. It is not "mans" fault as much as it is not "womans" fault that this happens.
/r/MensRights21/09/13 01:33 AM

The first step to controlling it , is to realize it happens. Since most people want to believe they are some unique being unaffected by biology it doesn't happen a lot. which is one reason why I hate that women never admit to being affected by attraction. Men are forced to face our "shallowness" every day, but girls are reassured constantly that their attraction is "spiritual" or something.
/r/MensRights31/08/13 08:18 AM

If that was true, that would mean men are naturally misandrist too. It comes from tribal times, when survival of the woman of the tribe meant survival of the human species. Of course it has been exasperated by feminism pushing gurl power recently, but it doesn't come from them. The important part is knowing that you have the ingrained bias so you can override it when you feel it coming up.

Steven... shunned by women his own age in the U.K, 'because they want fitter , older men and for some reason can get them'. And sex for money isn't exploitation as long as it boosts your ego becuase women normally ignore you. Ah, so true.

It's pretty easy actually. They will just cite abortion even being debated about is some how the biggest human rights tragedy of the millennium. The other big one is the wage gap. They will argue it like the government actually mandates 70 cents to the dollar or something. They will say that the woman that murdered was so so corrupted by internal misogyny that she had to kill her fellow womyn. Afte several generations without men , the idea of men will become more of an evil spirit to scare children at night ( how they breed i have no idea). We don't outnumber them. Men might outnumber them, but anything the majority of women want , the majority of men will gladly give to them. Luckily the majority of women aren't radfems or we would all be castrated or dead.

My goodness no. They like the Brad Pitts and the Taylor Lautners of the world just like any other straight girl. I wasn't implying that men should be wearing those things. All I'm saying is things like that shouldn't be the cause of bullying. I don't think it's normal, and shouldn't be viewed as normal, but they also shouldn't get beat up. The problem also goes further than that. I am a big proponent of evolutionary biology, so I understand you can't and shouldn’t change human nature, but not all of it is nature. I am talking about the concept of marriage not the legal aftermath of one ending. I don't have a problem with sharing everything i own, as long as the person I'm sharing it with isn't a piece of shit. Now i don't subscribe to the idea that everything a woman owns is hers and everything a man owns is his wife's too. That is more of a personal thing.
/r/MensRights10/08/13 01:45 AM

I never said there was anything inherently wrong with marriage. Family courts are fucked up , but marriage is fine. Yes some people notice signs about their partner that they just handwave away because of love. It may be their "fault" but you can't really hold someone accountable for something like that.

Except that some guys do get it right and don’t get divorced. And yeah, I would say a divorced guy got it wrong, love makes you do stupid things, and you can't choose who you fall in love with, it being a chemical reaction and all.

I just don't see feminism doing well as a support group. Maybe there should be a new rights movement called WMA or "women's rights advocates". I think people exist that call themselves that already, but it sounds better. For the record I don't like "masculinist" either.
/r/MensRights09/08/13 07:04 PM

There is definitely a chance that some do exist. I just think feminism is just too far gone for people like that to save. I think any feminist that doesn’t hate or believe their usual bullshit should distance themselves from the crazy ones.

The horrible thing is, there are real legitimate issues out there. These SJW's dilute the words and cry wolf so much that people are hesitant to believe them. The last time I followed my gut reaction on a news story and believed what they said was last year. I've actually gotten the "you like your hobby too much!" from both women and men. In fact I get it all the damn time. I don’t think it is a girl specific thing, but with girls you have them actually trying to join the fandom while simultaneously shaming it. I've never liked girls that just "adapt" to a guy they want. Taking part of your SO's interests is all fine and good. Lying to others and possibly to yourself that you are a "huge fan" of what they like is another.

They aren't skeptics. The skep in skepchic is just a misspelled and should be short for septic. They are pretty much a religion now. They only joined the community because they thought the god of the bible was sexist. They still need the dogma of a religion so they crafted one of their own.

Gender equality feminists ceased to exist a loooong time ago, and now just use the word equality shame people into saying they like feminism. "You're a feminist right? What I meant was, I was not defending feminism because I am opposed to it by my nature. I just wanted to use a stronger phrase, so i went with "fucking hate" instead of opposed. I wasn't talking about leaving them all behind; my point was that they are no longer required to survive. In this day and age you can give up all of them if you want. Not every woman that wanted something was as feminist. A lot of this shit goes back thousands of years and it isn't just a few select laws still on the books. We're talking about an entire gender role that dehumanizes half the population, it used to have a purpose , it doesn't anymore. While the tender years doctrine was started by feminists, child support and alimony weren't. The thing is, the birthrate is so low it may not make a difference. Either way, the problem is much more complicated than average people think. Just not having babies will only aggravate the problem. Most countries, western and eastern , are in between a rock and a hard place. We need some of that post-scarcity science to come along and fast or we will be looking at a bleak future.

I pretty much hate anyone that thinks they they are some kind of rogue agent against the "massive" reddit circle jerk because they3y dislike popular things. Hell I hate the term circle jerk to begin with. People agreeing with each other is not the equivalent of guys jerking it together. as for the misogyny or lack thereof of, I'm pretty sure they are referring to the "lol get back to kitchen" and "tits or gtfo" memes. To them it doesn't matter. A rapist is a monster, a non-human, and why suffer a subhuman to live. It never occurs to them that the rapists may need help, to them it's all about Hammurabi's code of law. With revenge on the mind, there is no room for justice.

I think it's safe to assume no Politian will ever take our side. Most of them likely see going against women as political suicide, and most see going with men's rights as going against women’s rights. The only way for men's rights to ever gain ground , is for people to speak out.

The military has handled this sexual assault business shockingly well. For the past month we have had many classes all about it due to an anonymous study that was done last year that showed the number of sexual assaults to be WAY higher than the number reported. It was somewhere along the lines of 90 reported 7000 in the anonymous survey. While the numbers are likely due to the same crappy wording that 1:3 women being raped numbers are from , they are still surprising. The class's have been actu…

It could really go both ways. It could start a national dialogue about misandry in culture and perhaps whether women are really oppressed, or it will start a "dialogue" about how women are really threatened by these crazed misogynists. I think, as far as the military is concerned, what they should do is change the standards depending on the job you fill or could potentially fill. Equal opportunity is not equal outcome. Equal opportunity means everyone has the same chance to try for a position . As in a girl and a guy both get to try out for the infantry but the girl doesn’t make it because of the physical standards. Equal outcome is everyone gets the same thing. a guy and a girl try out for a job and they hire the girl because "patriarchy", and they just lower the standards for the girl for the same reason. A lot of people get the two confused, including feminists.

Equal opportunity gets confused a whole lot with equal outcome. Equal outcome should be avoided at all costs, it is the death of productivity and individuality. "Nice guy" is a very loaded term. It's almost as bad and misunderstood as "friend-zone". The bottom line is , the "nice guy" that women hate are usually jaded and angry and feel they have been used. Most of the time, the slights are imaginary and the "connection" he thought was there, was just in his own mind. At the end of the day though, it isn't about sex or entitlement . It's about a guy who has been rejected by someone he had feelings for.

I agree that feminist and it's "allies" are not nearly as common on reddit. That doesn’t mean there aren’t gender problems to be found. Traditionalism is still a huge problem for men's rights, and is the progenitor of such ideas as "male disposability" and "all women are special" that are the root all men's issues and a good bit of women's issues too. I can fully understand why a kid who has been bullied would preform a school shooting, that doesn't mean that what he did wasn't disgusting and abhorrent. Same thing in this situation We know WHY he did it. That doesn't make it justifiable or not disgusting. As for nobody being that stupid. It is a VERY common argument that MRA's are this horrible sexist, racist and homophobic force of middle c…

The worst aspect of 3rd wave feminism. Not being able to take internet "criticism" Everyone else has learned the phrase "don't feed the trolls" except these people. If I could chose one thing for women to learn from guys, it would be for them to get some thick skin, i'm tired of this Victorian era bullshit.

I don't think the book was linked so we could storm barnes and nobles and tear it from the shelves. In fact I don't really see this as "offensive". Like most commercials/books/tv shows/movies that show shitty male sterotypes it just makes you groan. That doesn't matter though, in a perfect world this would be fine, I don't care that in married with children al is shown to be a lazy asshole because peg is showed to be a vapid cunt. In other words, we , or well at least I, am capable of taking a "…

Most SJW types and feminists have the MRM as this super homophobic, racist sexist misogyny beast that is just worthless. They see anyone who thinks misandry even exists is an extremist. I'm pretty sure most people who say this type of shit have never actually been on this subreddit, and has never truly listened to any talking point.

There is definitely an overlap. sex positive feminists and mra's have a lot to discuss. Most of their ideas overlap. Although extremists on both sides cant talk, that is to be expected.

I thought it was a parody at first too. When she said the thing about dismantling the patriarchy i thought for sure that it was a joke because only the most idiotic feminists and people that make fun of them use phrases like that. Then it dawned at me. She was dead serious

This a thousand times. You don't have to go up and claim they are "a sick piece of shit and to leave". Just walk up , greet them , smile and ask normal neighborly questions. If they really are a questionable character they either wont have answers, or they will just up and leave. This has the added bonus of allowing you to make friends and get to know people in your neighborhood/city.

I'm pretty sure "broke down" in this instance didn't mean in tears. It meant he gave up and stopped taking them to the park. By broke down he means he "gave in" to the women at the park. Not that he started crying when one called him a pedo.

I wouldn't hit them, because I'm sure I would go to prison, and that doesn't help anybody... But by the time i was done with what I would say, if they didn't hit me, I'd be doing something wrong.

Oh , don't worry they've thought of that. Because you see, if a black man is a beating a black man, its really the white man's fault, therefore it's due to "internalized" racism. So really it's still whitey being racist. Same with women, whenever a woman disagree's that men are worthless, she doesn't really disagree with feminism ( she's a woman how can she!?) , no you see, it's really men making her be sexist against her own kind! INTERNALIZED MISOGYNY!

The only double standard is the one where this dumb ass tries to excuse slut-whore women. If a woman wants to be a peice of shit ,do not come to her fucking rescue , there are tons of non-shitty women that will gladly take her place.

Nah, though changing her story did damn her, I think she would still have got convicted. It got to the point where almost nobody felt sorry for her. To get a p-pass you have to make people feel bad for you. If she had got rid of the camera, then she might have been free.

It reminds of that horrible quote. " If you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best." What ever happened to always trying to be the best for your loved one. It seems like we're expected to take all of life's bullshit with a smile on our faces.

I am so sick and tired of hearing about "objectification of women". Just because men like women who look good does not mean he sees them as an objects! I would never fuck a couch! I have never found an object sexy and I've never wanted to kiss an object. Men who find women beautiful see them as beautiful people not objects! Fuck

That is something I am terrified of while I run. I live close to a university and my normal jogging path usually passes several sororities. I am terrified that one day as I run past one of the girls will get "scared" and pepper spray me or something. I had to get pepper sprayed as a part of security training where I work, and it was one of the most painful things I’ve experienced. I really think to be able to carry OC or pepper spray you should have to get sprayed first so you respect how much p…

There are people out there who cannot be reformed. I believe she is one of those people. I don't really want the death penalty either, mainly because it's what she wants. I also want her to be unable to send letters, do interviews, or write books about what happened . She should not be able to profit off this in any way. Also she is a very social person and lives off of other people. I think she should get life in solitary confinement.

Because it is a woman killing a man and claiming she was really a victim. There was also a moment where people were entertaining this notion. There have been women using the same defense and getting off. While they weren’t nearly as violent and straight forward as Jodi was she did attempt to use the same laws that they did to get free.

No, she does not have a single point what so ever. Her points are this. 4 "problematic" items came up over the course of 9 months, ( one of them is the team as a whole doing bad at academics and one of them is a student doing something pretty minor) so therefore the team cannot get a new mascot logo. Somehow getting a new logo is "hiding" what they did, despite the fact she got the info pretty easily. The new mascot was designed with the word "aggressive" in mind therefore its RAPEY AND EW AND R…

I would say sensual not sexual. You have to get close to someone and touch them , so it isn't exactly filing for tax return type of non-sexual. I would say due to their sensual nature there could be sexual tension in the activities but I don't it is sexual in nature.

Nope ,not at all, unless you consider being straight or liking your mother sexist. Also I know it's not true, just like you and me both know the number 13 isn't really unlucky but people avoid it anyways. or that cats don't really understand you but we talk to them anyways.

I think it all comes back to personal preference, people don't always know where their preferences come from. I have a very good relationship with both my mom and sister and have had nothing but negative ones with the male role models though I've had plenty of very good male friends. I would not outright refuse one from a guy, and there are a lot more variables than just gender. With all things equal though, I would be more inclined to choose a female over male due to preference.

Ill intentioned reasons maybe (like they might try something) , but I don't see anything wrong with someone making a choice for sexual reasons, as long as they don't do or say anything stupid. Just because we don't agree with someone's reasoning dosen't mean they arn't allowed to make the choice because of it. Though personally I don't see how you could , massages are very relaxing to me and I see sex and sexual acts to be the opposite of relaxing. Which is why I never got the whole "happy endin…

I can't really say for sure. It isn't really sexual because to me there is nothing sexual about a therapeutic massage. It may be a maternal thing, the idea that girls and more perceptive to pain and what not. That is why I think I would pick a girl over a guy, but in reality it doesn’t matter why anyone chooses what they choose, Because it is just that your ,choice .

A thousand times this, you should have a choice on who you pay to touch you. I've gotten massages from guys before and i'm sure they can do great. Yet if I have a choice, I will choose the lady every time. My uncle is a massage therapist so I fully support guys who want to go into it. But I do not want to be shamed into thinking my preferance is somehow wrong or bigoted.

I think calling them sexless virgins isn't really true and it's along the same line as calling guys who are "friend zoned" losers who just want sex. What white knights really want is female acceptance. Even if it's subconscious. Either it's some Freudian desire to please their mother or the idea that women are the underdog them siding with what they perceive to be a woman's group feels right to them.

I would say economic factor was always the more important one throughout all of history. You think a southern slave owner had it any better than a prince in Mali or a Japanese noble? Money has even trumped sex and ability. I just hope people realize real oppression doesn't come from a sex or race. It most definitely doesn't come from thin people.

You don't understand she was creating a "safe place". A safe place is a buzz word that means ; places where you are safe from anyone ever disagreeing with you. All social justice warriors have an innate ability to set up "safe places" as a kind of forward base of operations where the circle jerk gains momentum and they corrupt ahem recruit new members.
