1	Writer has no compunction about calling a presumptively innocent man a 'rapist' a girl saying she was raped is always a coin toss as to whether she was or not Be careful with a word like 'always', if you use it there only needs to be one counterexample to prove you wrong. There have been plenty of clear-cut cases of abduction, use of weapons and physical force, backed by good physical evidence. 1	Writer has no compunction about calling a presumptively innocent man a 'rapist' I don't know how this works in other parts of the world, but in the UK this is not unheard of, it's due to how the law works; Rape is a criminal offence, so to be convicted you must be found guilty 'beyond reasonable doubt'. However, libel and slander are civil rather than criminal, so the requirement is proof 'on the balance of probability'.
