Well male-pattern depression is a thing. Personally I don't think the problem is the genders needing to be treated differently - it's already treated on a person to person basis. However it's probably harder for men to get diagnosed, with an admittedly gynocentric mental health system ignoring men's issues.

Negative? Sure. Reduced sexual pleasure and all that, and although it's not a massive thing, that doesn't exactly mean it's fine to do to kids. Had it made as a 2 (iirc) year old for medical reasons, so although I did have a valid reason I guess that isn't true for everyone. Yeah, I guess i'd go back. I don't gain anything from it and a lose a lot of function.

That would require caring about men as a group or indeed as individuals, something that won't happen any time soon for most people. Society can be pretty androphobic at times, especially in days where feminism gone mad can lead to people being harassed and judged for daring to say they care about men. Unfortunately, I think we're going to be ignored for a good while longer.

Well just because it is - mostly - online doesn't mean it isn't reaching real life (I'm sure we've all heard stories of campus safe spaces, rape accusations and such) and even if it wasn't, the internet still has a massive impact on our lives. You raise interesting questions, so if you'd allow me to raise another question as an answer as you have done: if trans people are just gender-atypical and dealing with it incorrectly, then why would people who have never been exposed to the idea still know they're 'the other gender'? Bottom line is, the evidence we currently have seems to suggest that for most trans people, surgery is the only choice for them to feel comfortable, environmental or not.

Seems a bit dystopian for my tastes. I'm sure eventually this ultra-PC feminism will cease to exist in any meaningful force, but the damage it has and will do towards men (and all the other things they harm) will be long lasting.
