dude, you're being entirely unhelpful here. if you have nothing to contribute then stop trying to put people down.

Yea good point, making violent remarks isn't a good strategy. Obviously I said it in a funny way, mmm still. It would have been better to do something else. Punish her some other way like getting up close and personal with a different girl, or playing jealousy games like "good luck finding another guy like me, you stilly little girl".

It seems that they're more likely to push boundaries and respond flirty. Yup, spot-on. I've had positive results from texting back and forth when there's a good vibe going on, and you can frame the evening you're about to have. by the time you pick her up she knows it's down. This is especially great when it's the second or third time you're hooking up with her.

Hey mad props man, i feel you on the awkward moment of hanging around while she's trying to decide what to do. Last week I had success with just pulling the girl my way with like "you stay with me, catch up with them later" but if her friends aren't already in your camp that's such a risky move imho (in this case her friends pushed her onto me so score!). I'm not sure what to say about how you guys didn't fuck - on the one hand, yea, you can pull girls all the time so maybe this was good to conn…

This works because it's a song. It seems like he's got this great frame he's working in where neither he nor the girl is being themselves, so they can do things the normal self wouldn't do. You know how you can sometimes get into the state where both you and the girl are playing characters with each other? I think that's happing here too.

Yup, exactly. It's a small chance, sure, but it's zero risk on her part and huge risk on yours.

no no no no no. There are many good reasons not to do this, but I'll throw another one in there. Workplaces has really really ridiculous sexual harassment rules, and if anything goes awry she can make your life hell very easily just by insinuating that you harassed her somehow. This won't go into a criminal or civil case, just some internal HR thing, but that'll ruin your reputation and make your life hell, and because this is internal to a company it doesn't have the same kind of due process yo…

Part of it is the mindset. People are hammered into thinking they're not interesting and not unique so they act that way. But more often than not people turn into more interesting beings if you give them some attention. Although is IS hit or miss - you have to find the people that's worth giving time to.

If you in general don't give a crap, that sounds like something you should work out. If you often end up with boring people, find interesting people!

This is totally spot on. You also become the "cool kid that does cool shit" when you take people with you to do things. If you're just always talking about how you do cool shit, you become the "douche that's always going on about himself". Not quite but there's something like that going on.

I was trying to figure out why a coworker of mine was so adored by everyone, and narrowed it down to exactly this. She is always incredibly happy for people and compliments them on what she knows they think is cool about themselves, making them feel good and seem good. To that you add one more thing: Be interested in people, show genuine interest and concern into what they're doing. Most people are just waiting for their turn to talk. If you break this mold and actually come across in genuinely …

What Dantai said. This post is NOT "the [only] reason you're not being asked to do fun things". (That's just a catchy marketing title). Many of us have shit to do and work our asses off most of the time doing non-pickup things that we love. But, if you DO want to get asked out to do fun things more, take this post as a suggestion of how to best invest your time. Create opportunities, take people out, add value to those around you and soon they'll start inviting you out just like you're inviting …

I think the major flaw lies right here: "ladies who subscribe to negative stereotypes about their own gender will take a liking to aggressively dominant men" They don't supply any evidence for this statement, and I think it's completely false. Some of the most independent women I know love being with men that fit this description. Think about it - does this mean that independent, strong women would prefer to be with wimpy non-agressive non-dominant males?
