Happiness is a by-product of purpose. Find purpose, and the rest will come. "Don't waste your time chasing butterflies. Mend your garden, and the butterflies will come." Mario Quintana

Dude I'm lucky I got out at 6 weeks and she still manipulated the fuck outta me. I'm almost impressed by how fucking natural it is to her - the world she lives in isn't the truth.

Dude I just got out of this same shit. Do not under any circumstances, no matter how hot she is, see any girl with bpd seriously. The issue with this is that it's never immediately obvious (or at least it wasn't with me)

Gents I have literally (as in last night) managed to get away from someone with BPD. I don't say this lightly but stay the fuck away. Stay far away. My one was beautiful and funny but the warning signs were there - No long term friends other than guys who had or wanted to fuck. Poor relationship with father Jekyll and Hyde personality I have NEVER met anyone so subconsciously good at manipulation Intense as fuck up and down relationship Suicide threats Week long bouts of depression and paranoia …

If only I had been so wise! Mate, the world's your oyster at that age. Work for a few months, get yourself in excellent shape, go travel for 6months to a year. Join the army on a 3 year contract and have some adventures. Come out and do uni then if you feel differently. I promise you that by the time you look back from 25+ you'll realise that that's what those years of your life are for. Don't spend them trying to please your parents/ society/ anyone else.

I often will tell people (out the blue), "you look great!" in a genuine, non sexuaul manner - if they are wearing good clothes, nice make up, whatever. You, as the initiator, are in the position of power, and it really does brighten both their day and your own. I love trp and it has helped me more than can be said, but sometimes it can be very focused on the aggressive side of seduction - soft skills are important too and once you are good at them it can often be a powerful tool. I think that it…

I used alcohol as a crutch for this purpose for years. I was successful (very) for a few of them, but one day too many of these 'cringe' moments will occur and it will be spoiled for a long time - which was absolutely for the best. Having only ever really approached with alcohol as a crutch it took me a very long time to relearn successful approach. A word to the younger guys on here - don't rely on dutch courage too much, the feeling of a successful sober (or at least mostly sober) approach is …

+1 for mountaineering. Since I started about a year ago I've noticed it has brought about a completely different style of fitness than say, jogging, has sped up my metabolism, built lean muscle, and gets you out in nature for a day or more at a time whilst building a mixture of self-reliance, planning and team skills. Ideal hobby.

Indentured servitude was a common way for people from any walk of life to set up in the colonies - large numbers of British chose to work this way too.
