I have had great success in meetups. Just joining wine groups and live music get togethers, as well as hiking and kayaking groups, have all had groups much higher in women than men.

A girl that I dated who was from Japan told me that they tell women the story about Christmas cake (which is like fruitcake). Christmas cake is very much in desire when it is given as a gift on the 25th of the month. And on the 26th many will say "I'll try that". But then, as the calendar date turns 27, 28, 29 and into the 30s.... Well if you don't have someone take the Christmas cake, it's likely no one ever will want it.

"The Jews"? Ugh. More to the point, I have news for you. Movies aren't real life. Not even documentaries are real life. Go out and live your life by being in the real world. With women's. I mean real women. I think you'll learn more when you find out most women don't remember much from movies and don't act like movie women.

I think he deserves some empathy and sympathy. Nobody deserves to get beat up. And he could have made it worse by railing on her. He seems hurt - and he needs to find his own path to manhood and to relationships that give him what he wants.

Yep. I was having a hissy fit that my ex got over1K a month out of me. A month! And I was not paying. Until I sat in court and saw all the men entering into plea bargains agreeing to jail sentences. I got back on track right away and have never missed a payment. Plus most of those guys were paying way more than me. I didn't complain again.

It's made by Milton Bradley. It's a fucking toy board game. Nothing supernatural about it. Google the "idea-motor effect" if you're ever curious about how they work. Or turn them upside down or blindfold the user - if it was supernatural, the "ghosts" or spirits or whatever would have no problem spelling out words. But it's just gibberish when the user can't see the letters.

Yes. Women our age love wine bars or lounges. Happy hour works amazingly well.

It gets easier because, while a woman's worth is tied to her looks, which goes down over time, a man's value goes up over time, since it's based upon social connections, and social value, and resources. When I got divorced in my 30s, I was amazed at how the game had changed in my favor. Most of the good looking girls that were engaged or newly married that I thought were "gone forever" were getting out of marriages after several years of unfulfilling unsatisfying lives with their husbands (inclu…

Yes. Be slow to hire and fast to fire. Be interviewed by three different people in three different locations, ask hard questions and qualify, and for those that don't work out, don't hesitate to let them go and bring in someone else. Treat people that stay well and be a good employer and a place people want to be at.

I struggle with this every day with some people in my past. But meditation definitely helped. Seeing that person with their flaws and their pros and cons, and being compassionate with them, because they were doing all they could, and were in the process of growth helped me. PS - All those people that told me "just fucking get over it", definitely didn't help me.

I dated a girl that was a stripper, but I didn't meet her at a club. I met her in the real world and treated her normal. Strippers get propositioned for sex all the time, and crave a vanilla normal life, so something like cooking at my place, or a picnic, was super exciting for her. The most attention I ever got from the talent at a strip club was when I brought another woman and put my back to the stage and ignored the dancing. They seemed extra flirty when you're not interested. But as long as…

Here is some advice -- take someone out to lunch that is in your intended field and successful and 10 years older than you. When I was a stockbroker I did that and was told it was a dying trade. Also, the book "The Millionaire Next Door", which is excellent, points out via statistics that most high net worth individuals got there by, most commonly, being a general contractor (construction), and all by having their own business. That's not stated strongly enough.

I've been zero contact for almost three weeks. And I did put what I want in the post: I'd love to either be single and enjoying multiple women, or in a committed relationship, but this seems to be the worst of both worlds.

Thanks. I agree I need to learn a lesson that sending the photo was a shitty thing to do. Neither girl seems to be ideal at this point. Thanks again.

Thanks, and that's the key. I need to be able to learn from this and admit that sending the photo was shitty, but also good if I get the wrong women out of my sphere.

I have had no contact since NYE, and I'm not interested in reinitiating contact at all. Better to look stupid one night and learn than look stupid for months. She asked me to make NYE plans and then asked three times if we could get a hotel. Luckily I knew the promoters of the party, so they paid for my hotel in exchange for getting the word out. But it wasn't about being clingy. My bringing bottles of champagne for her at her request was very beta, though. I agree no one is a 10, but she's alwa…

This book helped me a lot. I was using some of the techniques (some stuff he is off on, but overall it is very helpful) to meet and ask out and cook for and bed at least 20 women, so it definitely helped. For such a short read, it's packed with information.

It's the "Tao of Steve" method (from the film). Deny yourself your desire; Do something excellent (a skill, an interaction with her); and Walk away.

Unless she's a supermodel or actress or a 10, it doesn't help.

No. Beautiful women I'm relationships with ugly rock stars, or the ugly business managers or trumps of the world so much that it's common enough to be a majority. Here where I live in Newport Beach, CA, I never see beautiful women with physical equals.

Try bonding with all the other patrons and impressing them, so that you're "the man", and treating her super formally and ignoring her a little. You'll stand out. Do an origami dollar bill fold or tell her a funny joke and just in general act like you're m about to leave -- wait for her to show interest

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
