Ya man love is truly a choice. Love and a marriage and kids that’s a promise for a lifetime. Doesn’t matter how it ended, you’re grieving something that once was, it is very similar to grief from a death. Probably harder than grieving a death because you see the ghost of what was right there. I’m sorry it ended for ya, and I’m sorry for her too. Forgive yourself and find things that make you happy. When you have to see her for the kids, just focus on the kids. Over time it gets better but if you…

Ya it’s like grieving the death of a loved one. Your whole way of life will change. You’ll have ups and downs, wishfulness followed by deep seated anger. Let it just come out don’t hold it in is the best way. If you cap it in, the next up pays the price and then you’re doing it all over again and again and then it’ll never go away. Talk to someone, do something that makes you happy.

There is no right or wrong and every situation fits the person behind the wheel, literally and figuratively here. What you saw is what she wanted you to see. Whether an innocent or deceitful gesture it was meant for you. Listen to that, nothing else. Because that is the game that is being played… a game. Jealousy comes from the unknown, so putting an answer to the question eliminates the jealousy. That’s what you want, it’s hurtful you once loved each other deeply. If you want it to stop wish it…

Sweet and simple brother. Seeing her mistakes, seeing what she has done, is what this is all about reality… but to go back to what was that’s now how these things work. She’s not the same person, neither are you from her actions. Don’t let her control that part of you. Find someone whose gonna choose you night and day

Exact same, even though every thing around her tells her not to continue… but she does 2 years now of a constant evolution of failed attempts to justify her happiness yet it never comes. There’s a quote out there Epicurus, I think. Don’t give up what you have, for something you don’t. And to be fair I think she simply had an affair and has too much pride to say she did. It’s almost always the case.

Calm the noise, I feel ya. And man that’s almost exactly my story. All I’ve ever gotten was how unhappy she was. I saw the signs, ignored the red flags, tried to talk to her. Nothing. And this is or was over years, she changed her last name from her maiden name. Intimate all the way up until two days before. Nobody sleeping on the couch or in different rooms. And like you can’t even think the question why without her shutting down. Gotta tell ya man, so many I’ve spoken too and anyone getting a …

Ya beyond the chatting part. It’s seems like you and your other are working together for the benefit of the kids. We have 2, and we both want the best for them. She denies everything though, will straight lie right to my face when she knows, that I know she’s lying and act like it’s reality. She’s very controlling over the dialog and usually ends in most cases with no answer at all. It’s an impossible situation I believe where I’ll have to take action. I tried, for the situation you have. Just n…

Do you speak with your ex so that you two are on the same page? She says she’s in therapy but she’s been in therapy for a long time. But she never talks about what the issue is. She struggles with her identity. She finds one latches on a redefined her life when she spirals out. When in college with the pressure, it landed her in an inpatient care as she almost died from anorexia. When she was young just went completely blind for 2 weeks, with no diagnosis from the doctors, no diagnosis from in p…

Yes my friend this is already there. This is part of her illness with the personality disorder. She booked a full on trip with the kids to Mexico from NY, before speaking to me about it, getting passports all the while the year prior she took them to NYC for 2 days which we’ve been too a bunch and had an emotional breakdown in front of the kids. I have what I need to fight. I just don’t want to hurt her bc I still love her. Double edged sword

She actually divorced me. Said I wasn’t accepting of who she was. She created a complete diff personality at her place of work. And then said that’s who she was and she was gone. She’s been running from it since, but continues to come back with guilt and shame. It’s as if she needs my permission to understand but I don’t and when we try to talk about it. It’s all about her. It’s abundantly clear that she has a personality disorder what kind and the severity is unclear, if you go to the Mayo Clin…
