Hopeless last kicks from aging women who can't help but cake their faces every time they leave the house (only to appear younger). Hypocrisy comes in many shapes and sizes.

Everyone in my family has invalidated anything I've told them about being anxious and distracted all the time, by telling me that I'm angry or that I don't know what is good for me. I'm starting to talk to them less and working on ways I can avoid them. (Growing up, these same people would tease and criticize my lack of productivity.) Probably just going to start meeting them for 2 hour dinners and just keep the conversation casual. Sometimes even friends I've met for a short period understand m…

After they explain to you what mansplaining "is," simply explain to them you like to cover all basis, and that this is a standard protocol for efficiency. I get they want to control how we all speak, but once you're off the clock, you don't even have to accept their friend request 🤣

I was talking to my aunt from Spain a few years ago and the conversation went on about how women have to work harder now. As soon as I brought up how men have done most of the grunt work throughout history (industry, wars; etc) She called me a machista. Stopped the conversation out of respect, but I will never take any bs political rhetoric from anyone.

I'm no master but, no matter how interesting you think you are (degrees, possessions, travel experience, favorite everything's; etc...) all you really need to know how to do is LISTEN TO WOMEN, they don't care about your hobbies or your dreams, they just want to know that you are stable and trustworthy. Don't be needy, if you have streams of funny thoughts, tell your male friends instead, don't let them find out you're a loser. Don't say I love you right away, no matter how unexperienced in bed …
