| 3 | What about those of us too broke to afford a house?I was also the house husband for the majority of the marriage. Amazingly, I got a job - but nowhere near the standard of living I had with my ex. Sounds like a similar situation, where we picked up the invisible load in supporting the family so that our spouses could build a career.
