I’m not saying that he didn’t do the things he was accused of. What I’m saying is that people are so quick to judge and take action against people with fame. Sleeping around with women doesn’t make him a criminal, but considering he has a wife and children, it does make him a shitty person. But does he deserve to lose his career because of it? I don’t think so, but too many people do.

Exactly. And if the roles were reversed and it was a 40 year old woman dating 20 year old men, I guarantee there wouldn’t be headlines.

I thought that initially. Then I realized that most of them are comedians with relatively small careers that could be easily ruined. I’m willing to bet it’s more so that they don’t want to be guilty by association.

No you’re right. A lot of the allegations were sensationalized and all of the girls he actually came in contact with were of age. They essentially said he was grooming young women. I’m not victim-blaming, there very well could be truth to them, but a lot of the stories seemed fabricated/overblown.

Chris Delia has pending allegations against him and he’s been removed/re-cast in every upcoming role. Hell, even his friends are pretending they never knew him. The double standard is insane.
