I don't know how I got there, but when I went back to a browser tab where facebook was open, it was at a page stating that I had been banned for 1 of the following reasons... Then had something to the effect of Copyright of Intellectual Property Impersonating someone I just thought I'd let you know. As I stated though, my post was separate to the one that started this thread, and just happened to be the same article.

I'm trying to find out how I can go about asking. I can find no 'appeal' mechanism and this is the advice they give. Too bad I can't find out who the complaining party was. https://www.facebook.com/help/370657876338359/

I posted this article to my facebook page also (a different one to the OP), and today also received a 3 day ban. This is what I posted http://imgur.com/rlU0k5X Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

How do you go about "asking Facebook" why they banned you? This would be extremely beneficial. I have given them this feedback already on a number of occasions.
