Unfortunately there is not a certain to know whether she's being flirty or friendly. Cause each girl is different, a thing one girl does could be flirting while another girl doing the same thing it's just how she treats her friends. This is why the advice of always assume attraction is given all the time. Honestly, just ask her out and you will have your answer.

On a first date, sit in front of her, as sitting next to her right off the bat may come as too pushy or needy. Now, with that said, try looking for a place where the tables are not that long, like a coffee date for example, so that you can still make some kino with her even. As others have suggested, you may try switching next to her later on the date, but personally I've never tried that, I just I cannot pull it off without it looking weird.

This is so true. I had to learn this the hard way though. I met this girl on Tinder, she looked pretty in her photos and all. After a while I asked her out and she agreed. The first time she gave me a lame excuse as to why she couldn't make it, I tried to ask her out again. The second time she said she had to visit her grandma so she couldn't make it. Heck, she would even flake on video call dates lol, saying she felt sleep. Finally after some time, I was able to go out with her to a coffee date…

At first I thought this was an Avatar subreddit post, and it seemed weird why everyone was shitting on the dialogue as bad dating advice xD. And yeah, the advice is terrible.

Totally. If the girl is not giving open answers for the conversation to keep going, like yes/no answers, she may lack social skills, but most likely is just not interested.

At first at read "Women who haven't rejected you yet" lol. Jokes aside, that really put things in perspective.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
