Nailed it all on the head, being happy requires the same amount of effort as being sad. You have a limited amount of thoughts a day, make sure they're positive. Everything can be put in a positive light, and setback or challenge is a positive, it's there to help you grow. Control your thoughts, they lead to actions, which lead to habits and then character. You create this character and you can become him if you change your self-image into the person you want to be.

So what? I'd never put a lot of hobbies of mine on a job application, doesn't mean they don't improve me or aren't interesting. I wouldn't put the fact I love music, reading, films, bodybuilding, drugs, fashion, women etc on a job application but they are certainly very interesting topics I could talk about forever, a hobby is simply a repeated passion of yours, maybe a habit. No matter what your hobby is, if you can speak on it with passion people will be interested. Having any hobby in general…
