No, but we are alot more merely animals than 90% of people think they are.

Yes all my good relationships have started with sex pretty early except one, strong "chemistry" is not a guarantee but it is a prerequisite. The exception was the mother of my two boys who was a virgin when we met. Generally speaking if there is not atleast some level of "can't keep our hands off each other" by 2nd or 3rd date(assuming a guy with some confidence obv) then its not worth pursuing except in special circumstances, life is too short, if a woman is actually making you wait then she is…

Womens standards are not the problem, women projecting on men is the problem, most women seem to think that the kind of guy they can get to dick them is the kind of guy they could realistically have a relationship with, because women will generally not fuck guys they would never want to be in a relationship with. This gets us alot of posts from frustrated males complaining about womens standards, and alot of posts from women crying about commitmentphobic guys ghosting them after sex because wome…

I get the feeling of just wanting to give up in everything, I used to struggle with depression and have had health issues that almost killed me which changed my perspective alot and made me appreciate just not being in pain, but we only have one life and really have nothing to lose if we are going to keep breathing anyway? The only thing that can kinda compensate for being short is being strong, it will make you seem and feel more masculine and I have seen short muscular guys do okay with women …

I have definately felt like that at times, especially when I was younger.

Yep, people have weird beliefs about how the human body works, I have seen guys look totally different after working out for a few years, even without gear, even older guys getting into it, I have seen guys going from looking like boys to looking like men in a couple of years of starting to lift, often changes their face quite a bit aswell.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 07:51 PM

We dont need to compete with the top guys though, we just need to pass threshholds. Some guys having it easier does not help me, I just put in the work I need to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 07:38 PM

True, there are diminishing returns and roid freaks are definately a niche product, the difference between not working out and a year of solid beginner gains is mindblowing though. As usual: "dont listen to what women say, watch what women do".

Attraction is not a choice and has little to do with higher reasoning, it does affect our reasoning though, in a much stronger way than reasoning affects attraction.

Muscles is often the difference between "chemistry" or not, the most amazing thing was how much my personality improved by lifting, suddenly my nerdy and quirky personality was alot more interesting, funny how that works lol.

Pretty much, it would be super easy to exploit but we dont, and the guys that would will probably give off a different vibe to begin with, or atleast I would like to think so.

It seems to be pretty common at events with big age range and involving alcohol in my experience, I dont mind the hugs and stuff and will flirt back a bit but other than that I dont think it would be right to actually reciprocate any further.

Its a small subset of older men, not even sure its statistically significant. Its also a matter of access and social stigma, I had an fwb for awhile who was much younger than me but I dont think she bragged to her friends about it and I dont think most people would have approved lol, it was chance encounter, I could not have been seeking her out without coming off as a creep. my girlfriend is younger by more than a decade but its different after 30 I think. I will say I had more luck with women …

Sorry I went off in you a bit like you were some kind of npc, had you pegged as some kind of stereotypical black pill loser because of your initial comment, that was probably not fair. We agree that "hit the gym bro" is actually good advice, I probably just think its more significant because I did not have any other big issues holding me back, only slightly below avg height, kinda average looks but not a very masculine face, no real social issues, some game etc. I was actually chocked at the dif…

Worst case scenario you will just be healthier and feel better, but for me it was a total gamechanger with women, started to really notice after about 6 months, also fixed my low testosteron issue which in turn mostly fixed my depression issue. Concidering how much time we waste on useless things its guaranteed to be a good time investment, I often work out when watching Netflix, yt or listening to audiobooks instead of doing the same but just sitting on my ass, especially kettlebell and dumbell…

No one is denying height is an advantage? Can you have the appearance of more absolute strength than guys much taller than you? Yes easily, will girls find you much more attractive if you do? Fucking obviously, can you still self sabotage beyond what that advantage can save you from? Yes, can other factors be so detrimental that you still fall below the threshhold for almost all women? Yes but not because you are a couple of inches too short or some nonsense about your jawline probably, can your…

Yes obviously, for most guys it will be a gamechanger imo, I used to work with alot of young asian guys in restaurant business, it seemed like basically a magic bullet for them with white women. Its insane how powerful an attraction trigger physical strength is, we are basically still cave apes working on wetware that has not changed much in thousands of years. Edit: also works for ugly guys.

There are plenty of studies on this if you care enough, I am on my phone. 5'4 has to suck, thats at the point where its an uphill battle for sure, atleast in the west, not denying that, thats very different from whining about not being 6'2 though. My issue is only with guys complaining but not willing to put in work, I used to be fat and constantly struggle not to become fat again, I always had a bit of a baby face and I have plenty of other issues. Kind of agree but its a very subjective take, I think more guys are miserable because they live for others or care too much about the world and not enough about themselves. My advice to guys would be: learn to get what you want in life and then worry about the rest once you figured that part out, you dont have to be purely selfish but get you priorities straight. Obviously the path to getting what I wanted was helped by being a guy that people like and women desire, if a guy is actually just pur…

I have sympathy for black pillers, until I find out they have never lifted a dumbell. I strongly believe that "hit the gym" is the best single piece of dating advice for nerdy guys especially, they may have other issues holding them back but nothing else is as impactful and foolproof.

I had a similar realization after reading some "20 things NOT to do when trying to seduce women" post on a pua forum 2 decades ago, I was like omg thats me lol, alot of it kinda made sense but I just had not really thought about it, alot of it went against everything I thought I knew.

I dont think he is about doing other people favors? While I dont exactly share his views being able to think a bit more selfishly about what I want instead of caring about the world or trying to be someone for other people definately made me a much happier person, more guys should embrace that, its okay to put yourself first, even as a guy.

Same, success with women made me like women alot more, I did have a short spiteful period after all my illusions and cultural programming was shattered where I acted like the type of guy I used to hate and got rewarded with sex.

Because alot of guys dont feel to fondly about their exes, and for alot of us getting with girls in their 20s was alot easier at 30 than it was when we were 20, so we will probably have more attractive options than a returning ex. Also contrary to popular narratives guys are not just bitter, usually something happined that made a guy bitter, often experience with an ex when we were younger, wounds heal but we still carry the scars.

I am getting too old to date girls my own age, kinda felt like that when I was 30 sometimes aswell but I definately am now.

Most guys could benefit from taking half a red pill atleast, being a member of red pilled community is probably not helpful long term, succesful rp guys learned what they needed and continued on in life, they are not constantly active on red pill forums for years.

I used to keep it pretty low effort, not because I am lazy but because it seemed to get better results. Guys dont make the rules, we just play the game. You should not concern yourself with how women generally feel about these things, not your responsibility.

Many guys will tolerate alot just to get their dick wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 12:49 PM

Yes, in that case intentionally trying to embrace some masculine interests and behaviors can be helpful romantically. The worst is guys intentionally rejecting their masculinity because of some misguided political nonsense or because they hate their dad, seen a few guys sabotage themselves like that, its sad. Know a guy who it turned out had a serious hormone deficiency, finally getting help changed his life completely in a matter of months, like he finally went thru puberty for real.

We do sometimes care when logically planning our future, it just has no impact on attraction we feel whether she is a broke girl at checkout counter who dropped out of college or a millionaire law firm partner, checkout girl wins if she is more cute and makes us feel good.

That a pretty decent dick size if you are not fat? I think I actually grew a bit during a period when I was edging alot when masturbating. I had women complain I was too big and I am 17ish.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 09:59 PM

Below 4in is actually pretty small, I could see that being an issue depending on geography, on the other hand I have had girls complain I was too big, even a few relatively tall white girls, and I am about 6in. Edit: Well 17cm so a bit above.

The old "latin lover" meme/stereotype is mainly because latin american men are not circumcised and thus generally better in bed. In reality pretty much all women massively prefer sex with uncircumcised men even if they think they dont because of some weird cultural hangup.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 09:35 PM

I had a time when I was not into girl who were "too perfect" as in too conventionally beautiful, after I started having an easier time getting laid that changed again, I think most guys have kind of adaptive preferences/standards like that? Sex is best with fit thin girls who are slightly shorter than me, and with some girls my slightly curved dick just really hits the spot so thats a bonus.

Fun fact: Sweden has the highest concentration of Thai women in Europe, some feminist politician was freaking out about it and wanted to make laws preventing Swedish men from marrying Thai women, All the usual exploitation narrative nonsense aka she has never actually met Thai women, they can be super loyal and sweet if you treat them right.... If you dont though, lol. And as we know its never actually about any of that.

I think for half of men atleast OLD is totally useless, and for a small group of men its an all you can eat buffet, those are the commitmentphobes that ghosted after sex women complain about btw. irl is different but OLD just takes up so much space, its a different world now, bars and clubs are not what they were, and hobbies and events is relatively limited depending on location and the guy. I think its a matter of perspective.

I have no problem with paying for sex, I did just not need to when I lived in Thailand, paying for sex is fine. The guys I was talking about were in year long relationships with thai women, many of them raising families, I would bet most of them initially came there as sex tourists and realized how much better their life could be and never looked back. Most of them lived nice lives on moderate investments or good pensions, a few of them worked in Thailand, they are really happy men who it seemed…

I used to live in Thailand for a year, never paid for sex, cry more lol. If a guy is going to be paying anyway may aswell get value for his money, I met tons of such guys, none of them seemed sad, usually they just seemed really happy and wished they made the move earlier, its a different dynamic compared to a golddigger in the west, and dating as a decently attractive euro guy in Thailand is like being on a different planet. Maybe you are just doing female projection?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:39 PM
3

Disagree, its more about wealth, the golddiggery nature of the relationship may be a bit more obvious/honest, so if a guy depends on maintaining the fantasy for his own ego he may have an issue. And he needs to be into asian women but who isnt. If I wanted to go all in I would convert to Islam and move to indonesia, but I like it here in the West. Its a perfectly fine and valid reproductive strategy for men in the west who are decently economically succesful to just move to the philipines or som…

It does not matter on OLD when you cannot get a date, it matters alot when actually meeting women irl, Alot of guys cannot even maintain good eye contract with girls and could not flirt so save their life, have never lifted a weight in their life & have less testosterone than the average 70yo man and they think their biggest problem is that they are not 6"+ with a better jawline like wtf.

My dad is late 70s and still not acting old just walks a bit slower, people think I am 30ish, gf has career on track and own house, she wants a kid I am like ok why not, have more than enough money to pay for asswhiping if needed, big family 2 adult kids, gonna get TRT when I need maybe in a decade, life is good, no one can predict future we live in the present.

Was s total gamechanger for me, maybe because I was already pretty good at flirting and at talking to women and it put me over the edge and into "fun time guy" territory. It seems to be the muscles that does the trick, not just being fit, and lower bodyfat does not seem to make much difference as long as I dont get fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 06:01 PM

The work is more fun and feels less like work, I realized this many years ago after basically going monk for 6 months and shedding alot of fat and building alot of muscle, it was like I was living on another planet.

Personality matters, just not in the way guys are told, being a "good person" does not matter much and can even be detrimental in some cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 12:11 PM
3

The confident guys tend to run thru more relationships and have alot more sex, unless the confidence is a total facade and they are actually unattractive. Plenty of less confident guys(who should be more confident) do end up with girlfriends who sees the potential, sometimes with a girl who is good for them, sometimes with girls who are not, they get "wife goggles" pretty fast when some girl touches their penis in either case. OLD really messes with the system though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 11:28 AM
2

Men start to slowly grow standards when their options increase, this takes years though lol, the initial reaction to increased options tend to less interest in commitment, we realize most women are not really that special long before we start to grow some real standards, atleast thats how it was for me.

Physical strength and muscularity is the single most consistant attraction trigger, so no there is obviously not a replacement.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 10:50 AM

There actually are plenty guidelines and "techniques" its not exactly rocket surgery, for most guys the issue is mainly bodylanguage, lack of courage or pedestalizing imo. Or just not being very physically attractive and falling below the threshhold for "chemistry".

Its a tendency of guys with alot of options lacking motivation to enter a monogamous relationship, even if they get with pretty interesting women. And guys with less options not really having an impact on the perception of these things. It does not really matter though, most guys are not psychos and it works better if you get to a point where you are not really pretending, this does not mean being naive about it though, I can flip the switch and be a cold motherfucker if I want, but its generally not the best strategy and its certainly not with the women I enjoy spending time with, its something I do when I need to. Better to be charismatic than arrogant. Charisma being strength + presense + warmth, that last part is pretty important, being able to dial it way back when appropriate is also import obviously.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/22 10:53 AM
19

There are nuances to arrogance and the "I am the prize" mindset though, just telling guys to be in the mindset that he should not be concerned about what she thinks of him, he is there figuring out and evaluating what he thinks of her can totally flip things on its head, girls are not used to that, it just works so well for something so simple Just telling guys to be arrogant is kinda bad advice and should definately come with a "dont eat paint" warning.

Imo yes, appearance of physical strength/muscularity is the single biggest predictor of mating success, more important than height, we all know this? Dont underestimate the value of healthy testosteron levels either though, makes it so much easier to talk to people and changes how you behave in many subtle ways you may not even notice yourself. Totally disagree, you just have to do things a bit differently, the most important things I learned in game was things NOT to do, after that it was fixing my bodylanguage including the eye contact thing, that was a tough one lol, became alot easier after I fixed my testosteron deficiency and got really muscular, eye contact is so fucking hard if you are T deficient. Healthy mindset, and not as uncommon as online discourse can make it seem. Some women in their late 30s have a pretty wild libido though, almost hard for us guys to keep up.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 01:09 PM

Kinda same haha, ironically discovering the pickup/seduction community made me like women again, because sexism is fine but misogyny is just bad game, I wonder if they teach guys that today? So much easier to get laid if you like women and like being around them, just dont respect them too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 01:04 PM

I used to be super feminist, but that was so long ago it feels like a different life, I just ignore all thats shit now, life is too short to be a slacktivist. The early pickup community changed me in many ways but no one wasted time whining about feminism back then, different times. Feminism is just a shit test bro.

True, I was made aware of most of them because of the internet, and was lucky to stumble on one of the early pickup/seduction communities on usenet more than two decades ago when it was just guys helping guys and sharing experiences, today there is just so much garbage to wade through compared to then imo and from what I see most online male spaces today have been taken over by either incls or feminists.

There are some good books actually, forums are often a trap and a time/energy sink though. Good books: Mark Mansons "models", "The Charisma Myth", "Why Women Have Sex", "Sex at Dawn", "No more Mr. Nice Guy", "Impossible to Ignore", "Book of Pook" etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 08:24 AM

The internet is where people go for information? I have a handful of books I recommend to guys struggling, not all guys have a friend who can mentor them a bit, I did though, which was very lucky. Just going in blind is like every single guy reinventing the wheel, some young guys are pretty good at figuring stuff out on their own though and its better to not bring in all kinds concious learning, its not things they need to think about if they are already doing okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 08:19 AM

Argue yes, whats the point? I have had plenty of conversations with my girlfriend about various aspects of intersexual dynamics, its good conversation topics especially over a few bottles of wine, its not me trying to "red pill" her or anything though, its just interesting conversation.

Whatever really, if he has a bodycount of 50 but only wants to marry a virgin thats fine, I just dont want to hear him whine over not being able to find a virgin to marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 12:16 PM

Thats like twice as good as a regular standard then? Honestly though, its a bit of a luxury standard, if a guy can pull it off then good for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 11:21 AM
2

Its a perfectly valid standard to have, one that I dont really share at this point in my life, the born again virgin thing though? They can gtfo with that nonsense lmao, I would much prefer an honest unrepentant slut.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 11:12 AM
4

You can kinda transmute it, thats alot easier once you get laid semi-regularly though. I started to be alot more succesful in life in general after I figured that part of my life out. No amount of meditation, focus shifting and transmutation beats just having a healthy sex life without too much effort, its more like a bandaid or a way of getting there.

She is just damn sweet and nice and is always touching me and wanting to cuddle, the sex is also amazing, we also just really have fun doing things together, virtually no negativity, guilt tripping or drama for the two years we have been together, also she wants to have my babies. Also she lost like 30kg after we first hooked up, and says that I was her motivation, thats love.

No, I dont think the issue merits such radical change even if it was a realistic option, which its obviously not. I am all for individual freedom and choice, societal incentives and cultural standards are a different discussion though.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 06:52 PM

It makes me question whether having women in charge of mate selection, especially with daddy goverment ready to take atleast a partial provider role is not a very bad idea. There are atleast some societal incentive structures and cultural narratives we need to have a good hard look at. I find women complaining about the guys they are fucking and breeding with usually falls a bit flat and is more likely to make me think less of women than of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/22 05:52 PM

No, they are often bad from a societal standpoint though, not because they are high but because they have not really evolved since caveman times, and various social support systems further aggravates the issue. Attraction is not a choice though, and blaming individual women for being women' is mostly pointless.

I am pretty happy with my life overall though, I will be fine, I am pretty optimistic, modern dating is not much of a direct personal concern of mine atm, I mostly did kink oriented …

Women often give pretty useless advice, most mainstream advice and cultural narratives will also be bad, I dont think this is about women lying though, what they will usually do is describe what is (in their head) their perfect comfortable, safe, Mr. Practical boyfriend that would make them feel good about themselves, but leave out how that fantasy guy looks or how he behaves sexually and physically, They will almost never advise guys about what actually made them fuck some guy they barely knew,…

At some point most neurotypical guys will figure it out that they were set up for failure by culture essentially, depending on how late that happinds they may be (understandibly) resentful. Its still their responsibility in the sense that no one else cares. I got lucky and stumbled on one of the early seduction communities on usenet, it shattered my world view at the time.

Usually because they were lied to and set up for failure and are not willing to just stop giving a fuck and change themselves, I kinda got lucky and got the "stop being a nice guy" talk pretty early from a bro, but it went against everything I had been taught about how to treat women growing up surrounded by feminists and bombarded by western media and trying to be the opposite of my womanizing asshole dad, Imagine guys who discover much later in life, I can see how that could make guys bitter.

Its an important skillset, feels alot less important after I got that part of my life squared away, eventually I even got some standards and shit, which I did not have when I relied on "getting lucky" and had no idea wtf I was doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 04:15 PM
1

Really depends on who you are and the situation, its almost always better to be a bit of a rogue than a gentleman imo, probably best to mix it up for some contrast, shamelessness is probably the one thing that got me laid most as a young guy, discretion being a close runner up especially as I got a bit older.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 04:07 PM
3

Best advice I ever got was "stop being so nice and stop being serious, just goof around with girls and have fun" This changed everything even though I had no idea why at the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 04:02 PM
9

The asshole gets laid because he is not kissing her ass and because he has confidence and is shameless which shows courage, women find that attractive, its not that complicated, it is counterintuitive to men with the prevalent cultural programming though, guys are way too afraid to make women uncomfortable and try too hard to be liked.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 03:57 PM

Low testosteron screws guys, sometimes this can be fixed with lifestyle changes, alot of guys are getting ssri's when they should be getting TRT imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 11:21 AM
3

Most women never approach, they more like put themselves in a situation for something to happind and maybe throw some hints, and becomes sad if the guy does not make it happind, sometimes they do it subconciously.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 10:24 PM

"The women" aint gonna do shit, its all up to you bro. Just ignore the whiny cat ladies and all the cultural shit tests and focus on getting what you want out of life, dont try to save the world, save yourself.

6-12 months of serious beginner gains will be gamechanging for the average skinny/fat guy, its the appearance of physical strength that is a massive attraction trigger though, sixpack is a niche product. Another common benefit will often be healthy hormone levels which does wonders for confidence and bodylanguage and is a major factor in why "hit the gym bro" will never not be good advice.

This is almost on the level of being a cliche? She probably read in some magazine that she was supposed to make a guy wait if she was serious about it or something lol, to be fair she was very young.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 03:22 AM
5

Its specifically to banter with women that makes you good at flirting, you can essentially practice flirting by doing this. Just talking to women is fine and a guy should be comfortable with this obviously, but its doing banter that improves flirting skill, not just more normal conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 01:06 AM
1

Banter and flirting is closely related.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 12:57 AM
1

Untrue, I lowkey flirt with all women if I am in a good mood, its how I got good at it. Its very close to normal banter, if you are good at banter then you can transfer that skill to flirting pretty easily. Also being socially comfortable matters, this comes with experience and is somewhat perishable, need to maintain it.

Definately, one of my red pill moments was banging a girl who was seriously dating some guy she "really liked" for months without sleeping with him and realizing she saw no problem/contradiction with it because "it was different" and she was just having sex with me for fun and it was not serious. Amazing mental gymnastics, blew my mind, needless to say I decided I would never be that guy lol.

High social status woman does not translate to high quality woman at all, highly educated women are kind of a niche product but its mostly kind of neutral, its fine and all but it does not really make women significantly more attractive in itself. A woman getting her masters is much less impactful on her attractiveness than a guy hitting the gym hard for 6 months is on his, and also much less impactful than a guy getting his masters obviously. I agree with colleges being potentially valuable smp…

They actually do though, attraction is not a choice. Your definition is not bad but thinking such women are less attracted to superficial traits is romantic fantasy. Subconcious attraction influences concious perception in a major way.

Weird Fantasy Shit, like some what if alternative reality stuff, sounds like was written by someone who thinks men have sex based in-group preference like women do. Here is my counter: if "the women" decided tomorrow that they would only fuck short guys who could do handstands then I could walk out of the door tomorrow and see half of guys walking around on their hands and the other half trying, most of them would have removed their soles from their shoes to appear shorter.

Doing one moderate cycle is not bad, if you can get a hold of some hcg you can avoid ball shrinkage, pharma grade T is so cheap now because of the trans fad but hcg can be hard to source. I would not do steroids until I had most my beginner gains atleast, but you asked for shortcut, it will also likely make you super confident btw lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 02:36 AM

Does not really work well imo, and keeping a girl around for awhile is efficient, lying to get a ons is not, you will also pollute your pond, maybe if you travel alot and are a bit of a psycho.

Not a shortcut, lying is hard work.

Stop doing the culturally encouraged nice guy nonsense of becoming her friend first so you dont make her uncomfortable, its middle school shit, if you are romantically interested show that from the beginning and never feel you need to apologize for your desires. Obviously you treat a friend differently than a romantic interest, that does not mean she cannot be a friend.. if she treats you like a friend.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 02:08 AM

You can have that when you go to Phuket to train muay thai for a month every year, which you can do because you are moderately wealthy.

Appearance of physical strength is an actual "shortcut", and the increased testosteron levels some guys get from lifting aswell, can have a big impact on mindset and bodylanguage. If you are looking for something that you can do today that is almost guaranteed to have a real impact then do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 01:40 AM

If the wrong woman in a social group wants to fuck up your life then you are probably screwed. I dont think the risk for the average guy that great but if it happinds there is not much you can do about it. Best defence is being respected and liked or desired by other girls in the group, very hard to fight back once it happinds, but if the other girls decide they like you significantly more than her then she is the one with a problem, also if the guy they all like takes your side. I dont need excuses, me getting what I want is objectively good, the rules are fine when you know them, I dont have to be making the rules to be happy.

Whatever works for you bruh. (Does it work though? You getting what you want in life?)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 02:14 PM

Women kinda make the rules though, when I started just fucking around with girls and being much less respectful I initially felt kinda bad about it, it ran contrary to my upbringing for sure, I did it because it worked, especially after I started to have fun doing it. I was pretty resistent to the idea at first when a buddy told me to try it but the results were undeniable, Kinda shattered my world view at the time ngl, this was more than two decades ago in my late teens.

Because no ones confidence lines up with reality, people usually have less confidence than they should have or more than they have any right to have. There is not utility in feeling like a piece of shit but quite alot of utility in confidence. And being happy is better than being unhappy, there is not much utility in self-hate unless you actually use it for motivation, Better to be a happy idiot than a depressed genius.

I dated for fun and sex until I got with my girlfriend, why? Because I could and I wanted to, its not complicated, met alot of amazing women in those years, but no real incentive to go exclusive. Back when I had less options and was no good at flirting I was always dating to find a girlfriend which I eventually did despite having a hard time and not that many options.

Nah its just what fwb used to mean. First time I hear "situationship", sounds more like something else, like "when I did hard time I had a kind of situationship with my cell mate but I am not gay"
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 01:53 AM

They say that but almost always want more if they are fucking you in my experience, they may not push it to avoid ruining what they have though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 01:36 AM

For me an fwb was always someone I also liked spending time with, not just straight booty call. The struggle was not suddenly finding myself in a relationship with exclusivity expectations again though.

I got a few pointers early and got a bit lucky, but only really learned in my early 20s. The only real difference is how much it messed life up learning late, for me not much, for some guys alot, aside from that women cannot tell the difference.

They did something, had success with it and then kept doing it, over time they refined it a bit, they may not think about it much or be able to explain it to others well, maybe their older brother told them about some things early that helped them out. They are still not just being themselves, they are being themselves trying to fuck this chick or whatever and are usually aware of this, where alot of clueless guys today are afraid of even having that mindset because of their cultural programming…

Women will describe the guy who is their perfect boyfriend that would make them feel good about themselves, in their imagination where he is super hot but wants only her. No not really but kinda and the correlation is obviously significant, guys with options are attractive to women for alot of reasons but mainly confidence and non-needyness and obviously "passive dread" in relationship. The male equivalent of slut really is like creepy virgin or simp etc.

You can definately do things in social groups but its a very different game. A good social group can be a goldmine but the rules are different. Having a reputation for being discreet is one of the best things a man can have in a social group.

No guarantee, especially not when a guy gets the social reputation for being the guy all the girls reject. Some guys are whining but not actually taking action though, guys who could actually work towards success faster than they imagine. It is a numbers game but there really is a threshhold for any reasonable success rate that is not just some crazy theoretical and there are actually limitations on the numbers of women that any guy can realistically meet in situations where anything is going to…

If I held such views why would I ever talk to a woman I was romantically interested in about these things? Thats just bad game. Maybe they lack other interesting or fun things to talk about? Some guys really need to touch some grass.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/22 04:37 PM

Nonsense. Also its not about the world or society, its about a mans individual success.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/22 04:02 PM

You dont need 10% bf, romantically whats most useful is the appearance of physical strength and physical confidence not being shredded. "Hit the gym" will never not be good advice, so yes its like "take a shower" I guess, because not doing so is basically self sabotage, guys who are not actually doing it need to stop whining. Its also essential for maintaining physical and mental health today especially for guys who are NOT doing physical work, much less important for a construction worker.

Men have virtually no in-group preference, we dont care about "the men" just ourselves, our offspring, the people close to us and maybe society.. also just having biological offspring gives some investment in the future of society whether you are personally involved with raising the kid or not, certainly changed my perspective when I realized I had a kid. There is no "The Patriarchy", just like "The male gaze" its a provocative political weapon, not something that is actually real, which would be fine if it was just used to start a discussion in an academic setting and was not one of the main tenants of a very popular religion with massive institutional power. Its impossible to have a real productive discussion about oppression when its forced in such an absurd and imaginary frame. So yes in some sense "The Patriarchy" does harm everyone.

I dont exactly disagree, but its about alot more than apperance and her niches, the most underrated factor in attraction is bodylanguage, attraction does not happind in the concious mind, it does massively affect how the concious percieves and makes decisions though.

I really don’t think that women are really “testing” guys all that much when they guys tell them what they are into. I was not talking about women only, more people in general. There is a chance that overconfidence can end with you getting taken down a peg or two, mostly if you are covering for some insecurity and get called on that, but people will always try to test you and maybe take you down a peg no matter if your confidence is "real" or not. This is not true, there are behaviors and habits that are pretty much universally attractive/unattractive, and the average guy has no clue what is actually happening. Charisma is pretty much a skillset, some guys just learn it subconciously.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 02:11 PM
1

Alot of guys self-sabotage and dont even know why, you can definately learn to not do that, many guys also have unattractive bodylanguage, this can be fixed, guys cluelessly miss ioi when they actually get them, awareness can be built. I agree that “Just be yourself” and “Just be confident” is not really helpful.

Obviously true.

Alot of the good advice for guys is counterintuitive AF for guys with the prevalent social programming.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 01:30 PM

I would say about the same level of bad. If you want good advice the best person to ask is a guy who is very succesful with women but who was not always, a guy who made a concious effort and know what he did and what worked.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 01:29 PM
1

I would not say never, I got some pretty good advice from a a butch lesbian once. "Dont listen to what women say, watch what women do" is still a good principle, also watch the guys who the women go home with, you can learn alot from doing that. Or you could just read a book instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/22 01:22 PM

I agree, I do hear similar complaints from women in regards to being used for sex, its blindingly obvious to me what is happening(they are sharing) but I am not going to tell them because I want to keep them as friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/22 08:04 PM
1

Concidering the gender ratio I would say the average active female Tinder user is probably sharing. The average male Tinder user gets basically no action, its like a guy buying a lottery ticket every week for years even tho deep down he knows he will never win.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/22 07:57 PM
1

I said: "guy who is succesful on Tinder" not the average male Tinder user. I know a couple of those guys and most of the time they will be "occupying" the romantic attention and "hopes and dreams" of a handful of girls at any given time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/22 07:45 PM
1

Its super common, usually the women dont know they are sharing tho. Its pretty much the norm on hookup apps like Tinder, I dont know any guy who is succesful on Tinder who is dating just one girl at a time, always multible hooks out.

So True! Mens attraction is adaptive, and its not just conciously lowering standards, we literally start to be attracted to different things, this is responsible for alot of the porn categories on porn sites lol. They can change again over time in the opposite direction if options improve.

For most of the last two years the goverment, and lets not pretend OLD does not also massively impact how many girls go out to meet guys.

80%(ish) of men are incapable of getting into any kind of fwb type relationships or have casual sex except maybe rarely and inconsistantly like in "that one time they got lucky", pretty much no matter how much effort they put into meeting women. That is all.

The first step towards this would be making paternity tests mandatory or at the very least the norm to the point where it would seem wierd if a guy opted out of one. I am pretty chill in regards to non-monogamy personally, but I am not getting married and I cannot see how you can have this and still expect marriage as we know it to be a thing, its much more realistic to change norms to not expect/offer either, not that I think its really realistic either.

As a guy in my 40s getting with women in my age range is obviously alot easier. "he cannot get with women his own age because they see thru his bs" and such narratives are absolutely nonsense In regards to pushing the naratives and attempts at shaming I cannot really blame the women, they are guarding their own interests, its just a shit-test tho.

You cannot really negotiate attraction, there are alot of things that go into why women have sex with guys tho. When I moved to a really nice house I had build I noticed that the chance of having sex when I brought a girl to my place for a date increased quite a bit, I dont think it was all because of potential "gold diggery" and I am pretty sure it actually made me more attractive, just hard for guys to really understand because we dont find wealth/status and a potential partner really having t…

Shedding fat and building muscle was a big thing for me, felt like putting the game on easy mode, but I was pretty socially competent already. Yes, good dating advice is the needle in the haystack, aside from "hit the gym" which for most guys today actually is the single best piece of dating advice they can get. No real interest in marriage in general and in my situation getting married would just be dumb, it would also mess with the dynamic in the relationship if a significant economic incentive to stay or leave was a thing, I dont think thats healthy. I am not looking for better, I love my girlfriend.

I jokingly told my girlfriend that I may concider marrying her after our 2nd child was born. Truth is that the only situation I can imagine where I would concider getting married is if I was with a girl who needed citizenship to stay with me and it was the only way, or if its to a woman who is more wealthy than me which is extremely unlikely to happind.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/22 10:51 AM

Have kids, never been married, never going to get married. A guy should never get married to someone less wealthy than him, it will mess with the dynamic of the relationship, if it does not work out thats fine but I would rather a partner have an economic incentive to stay than giving her an economic incentive to leave, not giving anyone that kind of power over me.

Other books I think are useful for guys: "The Charisma Myth" by Olivia Fox Cabane. "Why Women Have Sex" by Mesten/Buss "Sex at dawn" by Ryan/Jetha "Impossible to ignore" by Carmen Simon. "No more mr Nice guy" by Robert Glover I always found Tony Robbins and the whole "power of positive thinking" stuff a bit goofy but I know it has utility for some guys.

There are alot of differences, Sugarbabies often dont really see themselves as prostitutes and it can often be a situation where the money is more of a bonus for doing something they dont really mind and even enjoy, alot more responsibility on the guy to actually be somewhat charming, good company and good in bed, the lines get very blurred sometimes, much more so than is likely to happind with normal prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:19 PM

Thats inefficient, for most guys fwb relationship will be the goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:09 PM

Yeah you dont have to be super rich to be a sugar daddy, if you are super gross you would probably have to but its a huge gray area in between prostitution and fwb relationships and the lines often get very blurred and, its probably not uncommon that alot of actual feelings develop on both sides because obviously.

(Updated while you were writing, sorry about that) I am not talking about just looks, I think bodylanguage is massively underrated and not just eye contact, confidence is good and push/pull dynamic can push some attraction triggers, non-neediness is super important, and alot of other factors that most people are not aware of, I have experiemented with it for 2 decades and I still dont really understand most of it I think.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 10:22 PM
2

I know attraction is not a choice, I dont know what "purely physical" even means. edit: There are more things going into mating than only attraction obviously, but without attraction nothing is going to happind ever, not even if I am legitimately her favorite person ever in the whole universe, I have had sex with girls who admitted to thinking at the time that I was an asshole tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 10:03 PM
3

True, but that attraction is not a deepening or an evolution of the friendship part of the relationship, its parallel and could develop without the friendship, the proximity and getting to know each other can make people aware of the attraction if there is that potential, if there is not then no level of deep cosmic level friendship will lead to attraction in itself, on the other hand is perfectly possible to have strong attraction without even really liking the person much.

Yes, but attractive != handsome, you need to have presense and confidence atleast, I have seen plenty of manipulative players in my time that probably would not get many matches on Tinder today.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 08:46 PM

Nah thats mostly a caricature, most nice guys are that way because they have been taught thats how they are supposed to be to not be one of the bad ones, and got reinforcement from enviroment and culture/media during childhood.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 08:28 PM

Nice guys seem weak, and women are repulsed by weakness, it does not really matter why they are nice, in my case it was a desire to be the opposite of my asshole father and being influenced by feminist pedagogues, glad I snapped out of that pretty early. I got lucky and got a positive male rolemodel/mentor that was not my dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 08:21 PM

Thats fine and all, but "good guy nice guys" are also clueless and not having much luck romantically, not saying NiceGuys™ dont exist and we cannot all redicule them but its to a significant degree a convenient red herring.

Alot of guys believe that being liked and being attractive is directly related, they think the first step is becoming her friend and that attraction is further down that path, this is to a significant degree cultural programming and not really their fault, atleast not for the young guys. I think the majority of incels probably started out like that and reacted badly when they realized everything they believed about romance was a lie.

Many(if not most) are also clueless and unaware about alot of basic sh!t in regards to how attraction works, some guys can salf-sabotage for a lifetime and have no idea what went wrong unless someone tells them, and many will even react against people who try to tell them because of social-programming. Guys who are not neurotypical are even less likely to figure these things out on their own.

Perfectly logical, you are thinking of Bob's brother Kenny tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/22 06:18 PM

Not really, dependable Bob is just invisible to most women and he gave up on online dating a long time ago. Guys are kinda slave to the META but the women make the rules, it was how the early pickup/seduction community started, they saw what guys the girls went home with and started to analyze and imitate those guys, the big thing at the time was "Dont listen to what women say, watch what women do".

Acceptable compromise from my personal perspective but... The conflicts of interests are not just intersexual, far from it, the guys who are having most of the sex are not the ones who are looking to settle down usually. This is not my experience at all, if we are talking a ons with what is basically a total stranger then sure, unless the stars just happined to align perfectly obviously lol. Nonsense imo, after 3-4 dates I am just going to assume lack of chemistry unless there is atleast some serious sexual tension and at that point its just a silly game, guys should not get with girls who are shopping for Mr. Practical unless they are running out of options. Was that really what got that sub quarantined? Its certainly a bit edgy and could get some clueless guys into alot of trouble especially if they skipped past the part about a safeword and not actually established one in advance. I got pretty lucky aswell, met the right girls at the right time in a world before the internet. Also I was into martial arts and had gotten into a few fights while being with a large social group at concerts in my mid teens, this made me interesting to some girls despite me being extremely clueless and a bit of a sperg and gave me a reputation. Without martial arts and with online gaming I would have been screwed I think

Men tend to be adaptive imo, I have seen this with guys who went a long time with no options and intimacy, its often not even about the conciously lowering standards or toning down their ego, they will literally start being attracting to different types of women, it tends to not improve their chances much tho. I dont think its the same for women, I have heard claims that female chubby chasers exist for example, but I am pretty sure they are unicorns.

There is this prevailing cultural narrative that women are less shallow than men, when the reality is that on average women are probably a bit more shallow than men, and the whole WaW effect combined with the empathy gap. When this kind of thing clashes with reality its an incel machine, its not good.

Kinda but not really, if a girl is really attracted to me I can get away with all kinds of shit in a relationship, once she is less so she starts to notice all the flaws and no longer appreciate the positives as much, I realized that when I ran into some serious health issues while in a relationships. I will say you cannot maintain a LTR on looks alone obviously and there are other important factors to attraction like confidence/bodylanguage but once the attraction goes personality and most othe…

Its for sure ALOT more universal than guys getting off on being dominant.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:12 PM

Yes. Probably more get off on being dominated and not having control, anecdotally I would say most women like it to some degree, with the right guy in the right situation obviously, almost too common to really be concidered a kink imo, its more like just good sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/22 04:10 PM

I think its pretty obvious that the difference between feeling safe/unsafe relative to situation between men and women is much greater than the actual reality of being safe/unsafe relative to situation between men and women. Even with that being said I think women especially massively overestimate how safe the average man actually feels.

I had no idea lol, I am going to keep using as I use it tho, I am pretty apolitical and an atheist. I dont care what boxes some religious wierdo's or tradcons try to force masculinity into. If you married a military guy its a safe bet that you like 95% of women find masculine guys pretty attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 03:13 PM

Projection, a part of the problem is women projecting aswell. I dont think men are generally that angry out in the real world, but I cut my teeth before online dating was the norm and only used it for a few years on more kink oriented sites so what do I know, a large part of my social circle are other men who lift weights and do martial arts, and those dont tend to have problems getting laid, even the short ones lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 02:48 PM

Its pretty self-explanatory? Way too many men are afraid to embrace their masculinity, are hormone deficient because of pollutants and lifestyle, bought into some feminist narrative and are trying to reject masculinity for political reasons and shaming and shit like that, probably often a combination of factors. I have no idea if "unapologetic masculinity" is used in some particular context in some online subculture or something, I have never googled it.

I think more of them come from being good little agreeable feminist'ish boys who grew up watching 'Friends' deathly afraid of rejection and making women feel uncomfortable, at some point their sexual frustration fried their brains, accepting that their cultural programming set them up for failure they reacted angrily and went to the extreme opposite, just like the average incel I think.

Because women are not men, it should be obvious why, birth control and even society as we know it is a very recent invention and we still operate mostly on wetware that is hundreds of thousands of years old.

"Being a slut is easy, being a stud is hard" Reality is that the vast majority of men dont really have the option of riding any kind of carousel, and the ones that do are also the ones who women their age want to date, for them its a sellers market. There is a large mass of "invisible" guys who would be happy to just be able to find a nice girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 01:24 PM

On the other hand its mostly women who are strongly opposed to legalization, this probably has nothing to do with protecting the "poor exploited women" despite the rhetoric.

Alot of prostitutes actually fill that role, but there is also some responsibility on the client, a guy can have amazing experiences with the right pro if he comes in with the right mindset, some men(or women) may need an actual sex-therapist with a larger toolset tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 01:08 PM

Bad model, keeps prostitutes from going to the police because it puts their customers at risk, making them more vulnerable to abuse. Full legalization while keeping pimping illegal is the way to go.

Depends on your needs, I really like dating because I like women and people in general, makes it alot easier, and I usually have some girl in my life I can hook up with if I am single. I am not against paying for sex or for a shortcut as a sugardaddy, its all good.

I will date feminist women if they have a sense of humour and its not something they have as a big part of their identity, radicals are tiresome in general, this has lead to some really fun moments. Guys can use womens hope of a provider to get great sex if they play their cards right, if they are good in bed they can even have some of the girls develop feelings for them and keep them around for months getting huge amounts of awesome sex. I think my example is more likely what happined, guys are not turned on by dumb, they are turned on by warmth, cuteness, femininity and turned off by dominant, masculine behavior. Maybe you playing dumb made you come off as more warm and feminine compared to your previous demeanor which was probably too dominant and masculine. -Get to know women, and especially get to know them NOT as purely potential sexual conquests, but as human beings with their own internal life, hopes, dreams, reasoning, logic, and complexity, This is how to be succesful at sexual conquest too, many guys vastly underestimate the power of genuinely liking and being interested in women as people as a mating strategy, combine this with a degree of physical attractiveness and non-needyness and "sexual conquest" becomes so easy that the term loses it…

The empathy gap is obviously real, but its mostly a result evolutionary hardwires and I see no way to change it. Women care more about women and men care more about women, its just the way it is. I totally respect activists trying to raise awareness and create change but its an uphill battle to put it mildly, as individuals all we can do is adapt, tears (no matter how genuine and justified) only matter if someone cares.

A single one night stand sure maybe, getting hookups consistantly to satiate your sexual appetite thats a whole other thing, and if you are in a position to get hookups semi regularly you will have no problem getting into a ltr if you want, it will probably even be something you have to actively avoid falling into by pulling the brakes with girls you are banging. Its not entirely untrue, but its usually coming from individuals with very little empathy for men and who have no clue how mens relationships work and how men bond, and is usually more motivated by a desire to attack men and masculinity than by any desire to help men. My experience with close friends is that men could be better at asking for help, often because society does not gaf about men compared to women, But that men are pretty good at being there for each other on an individual level.

We do talk about our problems with each other tho, we just dont have long conversations about our feelings about our problems, because that would be mindnumbing and pointless, we give each other assurances that we are there for each other, we propose possible solutions and go do things together that makes the guy who is feelings down feel better.

Why are your only sexual experiences with pro's then? You are anonymous here, drop the ego imo. edit: read your other answer, makes sense, I agree with you on why guys get pushed towards the manosphere, even tho I think parts of the manosphere is a trap and its not really coherent in any way, its wildly different groups with limited overlap, calling it a sphere is kinda dumb unless people want to tarnish people they oppose by painting them as one, in which case its just Goebbels 101.

First thing guys like you need to do is drop the slave morality and stop giving a fuck about what manhaters and prudes think. Possibly, my reason for often avoiding (conventionally)unattractive young girls is not because I am turned off by how they look, but they are more likely to have unattractive or outright unpleasant personalities. edit: from what I have heard from girls this is also a thing with short guys and guys with small dicks, probably for similar reasons, after awhile negativity and redicule from members of the opposite sex is bound to rub off on people and make them bitter.

In some cases I am sure that is true, and I am just brightening up their day a bit as they are mine, in other cases I get the usual indicators of attraction and playful shit tests, I have made out with very young girls at concerts a few times so I am pretty sure its not always that, I also had girls give me their snapchat twice this summer(without me asking), obviously if they are with a peer group its very different and I usually stay in my lane or engage the entire group if I feel like it and …

Can be done tho, when the guy realizes that what he is currently doing is not working. I think the biggest thing a guy can do to get out of a friendzone is to have sex with her friends and other girls in general, its by far the most attractive thing he can do, if he is not in a position to do that then he needs to get himself into that position by becoming more attractive and less unattractive. In most cases if a guy gets to that point the original girl will probably not be that special to him(e…

Funny thing I have noticed: really attractive girls in their late teens and early 20s are really nice to an older guy like me, less attractive ones not so much, especially overweight girls just scowl at me, while their attractive friend puts up a big warm smile and maintain eye contact for a bit, they also respond really well to me being a bit goofy and flirtatious, getting all girly giggly and blushing and seemingly enjoying the attention, while ugly girls that age just act cold or rude. Any …

What I meant to say was that you cant hide that kind of negative mindset unless you are literally a psychopath, Ted Bundy was pretty charming but I suspect that hybristophilia was a factor aswell. Its what TRP calls abundance mentality, I used to do autosuggestion in front of the mirror before going out to clubs back in the early 2k's and it worked wonders and let me actually anchor it in something real after I had initial success. One of the things that repulses me about the TRP is that they basically destroy what is useful "inner game" by stewing in misogyny and other negativity, being able to just flirt and have fun and be somewhat outcome independent is so much more useful, they talk …

No matter how much a girl likes a guy she will not sleep with him without attraction, if there is attraction but he is a total dbag she may talk herself out of sleeping with him tho, but she is more likely to sleep with a guy she hates but is attracted to than her favorite guy in the whole world without attraction, I wish more guys would get this simple truth and prioritize attraction. I dont like to verbalize unless its a very confident girl and the situation is right, I will sometimes but its very situational, bodylanguage is where the magic is.

Yeah, its pretty much the same with girls who have "if below 6' swipe left" in their bio, unless they are really tall themselves, its more a meme/ego thing than about actual attraction.

I am not talking about pulling my dick out lol, there is no way around being sexual and flirtatious, we are not in elementary school passing around notes here. Guys are really shooting themselves in the foot with that shit, but its not like guys are usually being told that its okay to be overtly sexual and maybe risk making a woman uncomfortable tho, especially not these days.

I disagree, they are mostly just misguided and have inefficient and weak game, and they kinda have to put themselves in a position to be around you to persue you, or to find out if they even want to, and people are neither owed sex nor friendship.

Better than trying to be a girls friend as a mating strategy, its silly to verbalize it like that tho(tho it can work if there is some attraction and you are confident) but your have to make you intentions clear from the start in actions and bodylanguage, so she is not confused about your intentions being to be more than friends, she can then reject you or not and you are not wasting your time, or confusing her, or in case she is the kind of girl likes to play games and use guys who have a crush…

Mostly the contract imo, cohabitation is a must for raising children, and I have quite enjoyed sharing my life with a woman. Realistically, if you’re just taller than her, have great chemistry and can make her laugh and escalate, she won’t next you for not being an entire foot taller. Exactly, and guys have no idea how insecure women are over all kinds of shit. Thats silly. Guys need to have a little situational awareness and need to respect hard boundaries with women, but most guys are way too timid with women imo. Guys do need to realize that how far you can push boundaries is really related to their level of attractiveness, the difference between being viewed as charming as opposed to a creep can be as little as a bit of confidence and presence, some upper body muscle and a lower fat%, its not fair but it is reality.

A cold, transactional relationship' made me recoil. Luckily the transactionality of relationships is usually not a concious thing, its fine to be aware of some of the dynamics going on, just dont think too much about it. A large part of it is also compatibility and not a pure value calculation which alot of TRP likes to pretend, some people just click when there is initial attraction, others have initial attraction but will never click, others would have clicked if there was attraction.

I absolutely hate women and don't know what to do anymore First you need to stop hating women for being women, misogyny is bad game, women can smell that shit from a mile away, work on that mindset bruh. I got my first and until now only gf in university when I was 21 and all seemed fine at first. But when I dared to show the slightest weakness after 7 months, she left me for another guy. Oh, and also we never had sex which leads me to believe she was never even attracted to me in the first plac…

Something like that :-) but guys are driven to greatness because it gets them laid, greatly benefitting society in the process, I think this is more common than anyone is willing to acknowledge, while other get stuck trying to put the wagon before the horse because their need overrides other impulses. I became wealthy in large part because I knew it would be a great benefit with women, I would not be suprised if this explained a large part of the earnings gap between men and women, since wealt…

True, but men often do great things because it makes them attractive to women to do so. And honestly aside from when I was an idealistic youth the urge to do good just for the sake of it really only started to become a thing once I no longer struggled to get female affection, its like a hierachy of needs with self-actualization and creating things of lasting value at the top, and food/shelter/sex below it.

The sugarbaby dynamic can be used kinda like a shortcut for fwb type relationships with girls that would normally be out of age range, I know guys who have done that, they are real girls with real feelings who enjoy great sex, and it can become a gray zone really fast, not going to go into the ethics of that tho.

Thirst can be the thing preventing them from getting that, better to just get over their ego and quench that thirst. Also if you think its not possible to have a validational sexual experience with a pro I dont know what to tell you, they are just women you know.

By focusing on tedious nonsense, they give the impression that the only "struggle" men face is not getting laid. If you are starving your primary concern is getting food and its hard to focus on anything else, if you have enough food its not something you really think about, lack of intimacy is similar, It is a primary drive just below food and shelter and the food/shelter struggle is mostly taken care of in modern society.

With the pickup/seduction guru's its all about the money, I think many of them cant really pick up girls themselves, they just talk a big game and get desperate guys to give them money. On the TRP sub there is an element of misery loves company, I think only a small percentage of the guys there ever really put in the work.

I discovered the pickup/seduction community a year or two before that stupid book, there were some guys who had approaches that were more based on directness and masculinity but the redpill as we know it today was not really there. This is definately true for the TRP subreddit last I looked, guys sitting in front of their computers whining to each other about how women are horrible is pretty much the opposite of self-improvement, imagine if the average TRP user took just half of the time they spent on that sub and on lame MGTOW'esque videos and podcasts and used that time to go to the gym and to read things that have utility.

I think he was one of those young guys who stewed in the negativity of the subreddit for months without ever reading 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' or hitting the gym. In reality guys dont need the cesspit that is the TRP subreddit, they need to cut down on their online time, hit the gym, train jujitsu or thaiboxing for 6 months to a year and read a handful of books, none of them written by Rollo Tomassi, and their lives will be forever changed for the better.

this guy is literally a fucking PUA who is the one who first mentioned the whole "dark triad is a good short term sexual strategy" He is not wrong, it definately can be, but its a better strategy to just be unapologetically masculine, non-needy, a little shameless and aware of bodylanguage and how to control microexpressions thru mindset, you dont have to change your entire personality or world view, just some behaviors. edit: also hit the gym.

It was all social circle stuff at that time, did not start to really approach until many years later, the change in how girls I met reacted to me blew my mind tho, suddenly they were interested in who I was, and I was basically the same guy on the inside, obviously my bodylanguage would have changed and I had gone from from slighly fat to somewhat muscular in a few months. fundamental belief of mine is that women have no sex drive at all. They are just thoroughly uninterested in engaging in sexual intercourse. There are people who try to be for sure, but attraction is not a choice. There are things that TRP recommends that can be very useful to guys, the sub itself is full of negativity and anger tho and hanging out there can only be detrimental, and it seems TRP the subreddit has only gotten worse compared to when when I initially encountered it. Some things TRP gets right: Hit the gym, do martial arts. Its okay to put yourself first(yes for men too) Extreme ownership. Dont put women on a pedestal. Men and women are different. Read books like 'no more mr nice guys' and …

/r/MensLib is not useful, it has no utility. It exemplifies the mindset/worldview that makes confused and frustrated guys seek out things like TRP in the first place, its not really a male space imo, I would recommend /r/Stoicism in its place.

With the kind of person you seem to want to be right now you should go to to regular dating sites, not tinder. For a site like Tinder you need to go in there with a "Big dick attitude" imo, you can revisit Tinder later in your journey.

Mentality/mindset is also a choice to a degree, some people are better at it than others but it is something you can train yourself in doing, some will say "but isn't that fake" since you are essentially doing auto suggestion, but if a guys mindset initially is "no girl will ever love me/women are cold hearted" then a more useful mindset like "cute girl just dont know that they want me yet" will not be further from the truth, and mindset translates into behavior.

I would not exactly call it "blue pill", and when I ran across TRP for the first time a few years ago "Models" was in the sidebar just below "Book of Pook", Its a good book tho. If TRP was just telling guys to hit the gym and read Models and No more mr Nice guy I would be a big fan.

Are you lifting weight or doing some other kind of strenuous physical physical exercise? when I struggled with anger issues lifting and running was what kept me sane, its also a BIG deal in regards to not only being rejected less but also in being rejected softer. I was never been the best at reading other people, especially women, and I had to work hard to learn it, but I cant imagine how it must be for people with aspergers.

Just talking to women is definately the way to go and being nervous and goofy beats being fake 10 times out of 10, I think one of the problems is that people spend less time out in the world today and more time in front of the screen, scripts and routines lead to self-sabotage and bad experiences for young guys, I am sure many incels got some of their negative impression of women from bad pickup advice leading to negative experiences with women who were understandably creeped out. Imo pickup c…

Just because you realize that TRP is negative and most the guys there are stuck in a perpetual anger phase, it does not mean that you should throw all game out the window and go back to all your bad habits. You win some, you lose some. edit: I dont know your background and I have to go to bed soon, I got a long day tomorrow, but maybe I can give you a few pointers, I spent alot of time making dumb mistakes when I decided to get better with women 15yrs ago.

Nah, dont hate women for being women, its pointless, stupid and "bad game", its a path to unhappiness. Dont think about how women are, think about how women are with YOU, and take ownership of your role in it. The girl I was talking about was just a hormone driven teenager at the time, she was of great value to my life and helped make me the man I am today, some of my fondest memories from my youth involves her, 20yrs later she still has a special place in my heart.

I was referring to friendships obviously, men dont reach out to strangers much either. Men are pretty good at emotionally supporting their friends in my experience, they are not always that good at asking for help directly tho, which is why its important to reach out to a buddy when he is confused or in pain, men are pretty good at doing this, female friends of men could be better at it.

Its very rare I need my female friends for anything practical, they invite me to parties which is nice, but I never really need them, I like them and I think they are good company and I am grateful to have them in my life, I sometimes benefit from their opinion and some of them have been good emotional support when I needed someone to hold me, I can only speak for myself but I think this is a trend, I have a really good friend who helps me with programming stuff sometimes but she is an anomaly. …

I feel like as soon as I treat a girl as just a person that o don’t want to have sex with, they get bored, because it seems like they want me to desire them? I have experienced this, you are not wrong, I think its a validation thing, even if she does not want you she wants you to want her, probably because it feels good and is good for her confidence. You choosing to not be a part of that dynamic is fine tho and most of the time she is not even conciously aware of it so blame is pointless. One…

I am very sympathetic to the guys who go looking for something like TRP or Pickup Artistry, its usually guys who are confused and in alot of pain, usually because they had already been on a misguided path because they bought into alot of pop-culture nonsense in regards to men/women and were understandably frustrated. In my experience female friends will ask for favors and need help with things alot more than male friends, and are more likely to want to have long conversations that can sometime…

"Hit the gym" is a cliche for a reason but TRP can hardly take credit for that, it is actually really good advice that most guys today could benefit from, not least because of how it will change their mindset on a chemical level. Just dont overdose on those red pills dude, you could end up ruining a good thing if it comes along, go have alot of sex if thats what you need, but if you want girls you like to stick around you need to be able to show a little vulnerability and be a real person that…

TRP is very "low resolution", it makes wide generalizations and exaggerates real tendencies to an absurd degree. My biggest problem with it is that it leads inexperienced guys to self-sabotage, yes you can improve your life by internalizing some red pill principles to a degree, but you really need to balance it with a healthy dose of "beta" if you want a happy life with a healthy relationship to women, even if you want to "spin plates". I am not against guys getting "game", in fact I think its a…

When I first got into the pickup scene 15yrs ago it was mostly a supportive and positive male space, today it looks very different, back then we had a 'women are cute and fun' and 'try to leave her better than you found her' mindset. Flirting is a game, other peoples feelings are not, misogyny wont make anyone happy, and it usually wont get people laid either, its "bad game".
