The solution is, do something healthy and specific to your own relationship. I can’t determine what they should do because I’m not in that relationship, but what someone who is frustrated in a relationship definitely shouldn’t do is use violence or put their partner in harm’s way because “words didn’t work”. If an issue is serious enough to be violent about then it’s serious enough to break up over, period. If it’s not worth breaking up over, then it isn’t worth getting violent over either.

Since this video was staged she was okay but a move like that is really careless. Somebody could easily get quite hurt from something like that, even just from “light” fighting.

I don’t know, I’m not in that relationship and don’t know how they operate. But if I really have to explain why violence shouldn’t be an actual consideration to solve relationship issues then ya might be too far gone.

the only way she’d listen is by a little force instead of words First of all, this video and its prequels are almost certainly staged. Second of all, that sentence is pretty much word for word how husbands have justified beating their wives for centuries. “It was the only way she would listen!”. In a real scenario, if your wife keeps bothering you and wanting to play fight, you should not, I repeat don’t, teach her a lesson by rocking her shit. Being violent towards your spouse when words don’t …

Because it’s a woman getting her shit kicked in, that’s what this sub likes now. Honestly it’s disturbing picturing people on this sub, thinking this video is real and she’s legitimately getting beat up, and laughing because they just like seeing women get hurt. Notice the comments whining about “bitches” insulting their hobbies, they all have chips on their shoulders.

As with any other insane double standard, one can imagine the mass outrage if the government even thought of arranging a group for men’s wellness specifically. Because, after all, only women can be discriminated against.

No fucking way lol How???? How do you live your life like that?? I cannot imagine getting to the point where if something was negatively impacting women disproportionately, my immediate reaction would be suspecting that it’s actually because they’re sexist and men are the real victims. That’s the most self-absorbed thing I’ve ever heard. And “the impacts outside of the virus itself are more devastating to women for cultural reasons as well as systemic sexism”? Based on what?? Right... There may be reasonable members of the group but it’s pretty obvious that the idea is that inherently all men in our society are only worth as much as you can extract from them in a relationship. Often justified with anecdotal experiences or the idea that societal disadvantages for women require more out of men to “prove themselves”, but the foundational generalization of men doesn’t change. Just like how incels generalize women to fit their model of how society works/should work.

I [M] used to be in this camp but I’ve come to realize that it just makes sense to close the entire toilet every time, like the lid too. No one is upset, everyone has to open it in some way before using it, it’s sanitary. Everybody pulls their weight lol

I’ve made a comment before about how these groups should just screw each other, but this sums up why that couldn’t happen. Can’t extract value from your partner if they’re just as paranoid about being fucked over as you are and are trying to do the same thing to you.

I mean personally I don’t believe in our society being either a patriarchy or a matriarchy, but yeah a lot of people will say one thing that they totally wouldn’t say if the situation were the other way around.

Oh my god you're so funny, like, how did you ever come up with a joke like that? Did you go to comedy school or something? Like for real, you should go do comedy for a living: sell your house and all your belongings and buy a plane ticket to New York because trust me you're gonna strike it rich, I mean, how many people could ever make such a funny joke? The depth, the sensitivity, it's just the perfect joke. Like for real it's so funny I am going to die, how did you do it? It's impossible for a …

Yeah the matriarchy made rules for cutting hair for the purpose of controlling men, nevermind the difference in complexity and skill certification needed between what women typically get done versus what men typically get done. And nevermind that it’s mostly women going into the industry and so it’s mostly women having to follow those rules.

It’s pretty straightforward satire of sexual regulation, it’s dumb how some of the same people who laugh about others getting “triggered” are clutching their pearls at the sight of an obvious joke tweet commenting on why nobody’s sexuality should be regulated. Agree or disagree with it but that means with the actual point guys, not a manufactured outrageous argument meant to be taken literally.

Taking accountability for the community, that’s what I like to see. I think it’s really important to draw the line where it needs to be drawn, generalizing and degrading women is no different from generalizing and degrading men. Polarizing shit-throwing is the exact opposite of what we need to fix the issues we’re supposed to be taking seriously.

It’s FDS, they either haven’t dealt with men and are female incels or they’ve had a string of failed relationships with men and convinced themselves it’s about the shape of their vagina and not their abysmal, entitled personalities. I’ve heard quite a bit of judgement on women’s appearances too, but I’m also 18 and I’ve heard it from literal children so if that’s who those women are surrounding themselves with that’s their issue. The anti-feminist crowd is getting weirder and weirder, and I consider myself anti-feminist. It seems like we’re criticizing feminists for being so quick to respond, violently or otherwise, to simple human interactions. But then we turn around and stoop to that level, so that everyone is sensitive and on-edge all the time. And whenever somebody calls something out, like I dunno, assaulting a girl in the mall for touching your fucking arm, somebody else just says “but le roles reversed!!!! Societ…

I agree with you on the topic of sneakers like the ones in the OP, but when you look at leather shoes or boots such as those for work or weatherproofing or whatever, you often get what you pay for even in the few hundred dollar range. One high quality pair of leather shoes over several years might end up costing less than a few pairs worn out and replaced in the same time period, and can still look good over time on top of that. That being said, 1000 dollars for a pair of ugly sneakers that you …

He’s saying it doesn’t count because simply naming who said something without providing an actual tangible source that can lead you to that conclusion isn’t necessarily sufficient evidence. Not that some random redditor should be expected to write an MLA format essay, though. example: “48% of babies are possessed by the devil at least twice within their first year of life” “Source?” “The FBI” “Oh ok”

what the actual fuck are you saying In case you need a reminder, since you so nobly redacted this part from your first reply to me, you said that the man in the video could “kick the shit out of” the woman, which I think is an odd thing to jump to if you’re not weirdly fixated on violence. Then by that logic, literally any situation ever where a woman is in the wrong and gets karma for it qualifies as a “pussy pass denied”. So essentially, r/instantkarma for those that only want to see women get the short end of that stick. Interesting. If that’s what the majority wants it to be then by all means, but it’s just a waste of a subreddit created to address actually gendered issues rather than any inconvenience caused by a woman. Again, we are making this about gender. If you want to make the argument that women are inherently prone to do these things then you can do that and it would explain this kind of content on the sub. But as of right now this is just a jerk move followed by a trip. It belongs on instantkarma or something

This isn’t r/badthingshappeningtowomen, there’s no evidence of a pussy pass being part of the equation. Maybe she’s just a dick, maybe she thought he was the one going the wrong way. Regardless, we shouldn’t be upvoting a video of a woman simply being tripped because of what very well might have been a misunderstanding. This sub is not for reveling in women “getting what they deserve” in situations totally unrelated to gender as far as we know.

Desperate how? Your definition of slavery applies to alimony because the man is submitting to the dominant force of the government to follow a judge’s orders. Therefore, submitting to the same dominant force to follow other orders and laws is the same type of “slavery” as alimony. I notice that you’re going straight to a personal attack rather than addressing my point.

Well I just fundamentally disagree with the premise that all problems can just go away when you “take responsibility”. Sounds like it’s straight out of a self-help book. I think the concept that custody should be awarded based on finances alone is flat-out idiotic, to be honest. Evidently judges, who are paid to know what laws are and why they are, agree with me. Well my argument is that you have a bullshit understanding of slavery. You can’t just call things slavery to make it sound as bad as you think it is, believe it or not you have to explain and back up that claim with reasoning. Furthermore, you can’t just strawman the discussion to say I endorse slavery. And you’re misinformed if you think the majority of the time men work so hard and the women just sit back being fed grapes from the vine with divorce money. That’s not how it works. It happens, b…

Listen, I’m no fan of Western feminism either. But “society destroyer”? Really? So based on your conclusion that feminism has destroyed our society (it hasn’t, that’s a bit melodramatic), we should turn our back on the women fighting against all-too-real oppression? Is feminism pretty bullshit most of the time here? Sure. Should we write off Eastern feminism as potential bullshit, and therefore not worthy of our support? Absolutely not.

I’m general I agree that there is sort of a mental imbalance between what a boy that age thinks and what a girl that age thinks. However, I think that an adult woman could definitely use that fact as leverage to use the boy sexually for her own pleasure. A form of peer pressure, if you will. Like “none of your friends have ever been with a woman before”, that sort of stuff. Another point is that while he might be proud in the moment, we need to remember that this is a child. But violence against women? Everybody knows you don’t joke about that. I want to clarify that I’m not upset that I can’t hit women, because I prefer when nobody hits anybody. What indicates that we have not reached equality of opportunity? Some STEM jobs are starting to become female-dominant. There’s plenty of footage on YouTube of men defending themselves against a stranger or their partner in public and getting swarmed by white knights. So most men are rapists? You’re telling me that of the millions and millions of men in America, more than 50% of them are rapists. I speak for the rest of us when I say don’t reproduce.

You ignored his point about crime, which is important. Is being black a risk factor for crime? Would it be okay to put that on an official pamphlet? If your answer is no, then you’re just a raging sexist against men for defending this bullshit.

What the fuck? Be aware of your aggression levels? That is straight up propaganda.

You really can’t argue against that point no matter what you believe. It’s just a fact that women are going places they weren’t before and then changing things around so it favors them.

I’m gonna tell my kids that they respect who earns it. None of this gendered crap. You’re getting beat up at school? Here’s how to swing back. It’s a girl? So what? If women want to break boundaries, then that means they get no respect right off the bat that I wouldn’t also give a man.

You might not understand the weight of having someone you really love hurt you and reduce your self image to nothing while you still love them. It’s a mental task more than a physical one.

Did I feel attacked? No. Did I feel that your comment was pretty pointless? Better. And I didn’t “admit” anything, my entire argument is that the inaccuracy of some reddit thread title should have absolutely zero effect on how someone looks at this situation. And that in the real world, most people wouldn’t care to make the distinction for this man when they saw his name. Whether you believe it or not, that is what matters in this case. The public eye. And by the way, my shovel analogy accounts …

No, she did not accuse him of rape; does that make you happy? I don’t know why you’re so passionate about the title being slightly wrong. That’s like calling someone out for saying someone was killed with a shovel when it was really a baseball bat.

It has EVERYTHING to do with this. I could not give a single shit with what specific charge she tried to ruin someone’s life with when it would effect the situation the same fucking way. If you would apply an ounce of logic to your thought process you would understand how irrelevant your “um ACKSHUALLY” crap is, we’re not comparing stealing a Twinkie and boiling the Pope alive. The long-term effects of both sexual assault charges and rape charges would each be the same, and if you don’t think th…

Whenever it's rape, it says rape? Funny how often I see "sexual relations" and "sexual assault" whenever it's a woman, then. My point is, there is legitimately no difference in what people would think of this man whether she cried rape or sexual assault. When people see "sexual assault", they get pissed. And if you disagree and think that they'd get different reactions in general, then that's fine. But fuck off. Because at this point neither of us is convincing the other of anything.
/r/PussyPassDenied20/04/18 08:03 PM

When someone sees “sexual assault” on a headline, they are not thinking about fucking groping, you idiot. People automatically go to rape, when it’s a dude especially. And yes, you are starting shit, because whether she said rape or sexual assault it doesn’t matter; she’s a piece of shit excuse for a human being and he had his life at stake. And both claims would inspire identical reactions from people around him.
/r/PussyPassDenied20/04/18 07:40 PM

No, it wouldn’t have the same effect. “Sexual assault” will get you called a rapist all the same, “necrophilia” will not. Stop starting shit for no reason.
/r/PussyPassDenied20/04/18 06:28 PM

“Sexual assault” and “rape” will do the exact same thing to a man’s reputation.

You say I'm strawmanning and then strawman a paragraph later. I'm not hugs and warmths for molesters, I'm rational for child molesters. She should go to prison, we can both agree on that. But you just blindly wish for lives to be ruined based on your emotions. Hope you never run for office.
/r/PussyPassDenied06/04/18 08:05 PM

I'm not answering all your points because I'm busy. I apologize if I'm not thorough enough. Do you know what strawmanning is? A strawman is creating my argument for me and then arguing against what you made up as if I said it. That is exactly what you did, and in all caps. And apparently you don't know what trauma is, either. Trauma is lasting negative effects from an event. You have no fucking clue what drove him to tell his parents, so don't draw conclusions based on assumptions. "OMG, YOU'RE …
/r/PussyPassDenied06/04/18 07:41 PM

Yes, touching a boob traumatizes no one who is mentally healthy to begin with. No, him telling his parents means he’s concerned and knows it was wrong, not that he was traumatized. Huge difference.

People like you just strawman and strawman and strawman some more. Yeah I definitely said molesting kids is okay. That’s why I think she needs 5 years in prison. Fucking moron

You don’t know whether or not he was traumatized. Irrelevant point.

Arguing to have someone’s life destroyed over a mistake. Noble. Fuck off for saying I like when kids get molested. Be a pessimist somewhere else while I go kill myself like you’ve told me to twice. Again, noble.

I never said pedophilia was normal, if that’s what I believe then I wouldn’t argue so strongly for rehabilitation. I understand that it is wrong. You equate touching breasts with sex. Absolutely a false equivalence.

You’re such a jackass. It was her BREASTS. You have no grasp on reality if you think that hurt the child enough to justify a life sentence
/r/PussyPassDenied06/04/18 06:57 PM

Prison should be for rehabilitation, not a hole for people we don’t like to rot in. I hate to be devil’s advocate, but pedophilia is an attraction to children on the same instinctive level as attraction to anyone else for a normal person. She was either born with the attraction or traumatized enough into it. You think she should spend her life in prison because you think you’re above her or whatever, but I think you’re underestimating the depth that pedophilia is rooted in someone, to a point wh…

I think the court should have given her maybe 5 years maximum (very anecdotal, I’d have to look up the punishments for other crimes to compare). And that’s the thing, you can get off with so much less doing way more than what she did. The law is inconsistent.

And I can’t believe what you think is a fitting punishment for the crime. Agree to disagree.

Even 10 years is insanity for the crime, fucking hell. Unless there’s more to the crime that I’m not aware of, that kid is not traumatized in the least. You can murder a human being and get off easier than that.

The anger is not about the sexual harassment (mostly). The anger is that the role reversal would lead to the male judge immediately getting fired after intense barrages from the public. It’s the double-standard that we need to keep talking about. Edit: and I would like to add that he specifically said he was saving his kiss for someone special. This pisses me off already, but I can’t even imagine the backlash if the gender-swapped contestant said the same thing about her wishes.
