Honestly, this would be a dealbreaker for me. I want a partner who values marriage and doesn’t marry their “friend” as a “joke”. It won’t be a dealbreaker for the right guy with the right sense of humor (or values or whatever drives people to marry their “friend” as a “joke”) but if you don’t let them know and they find out that’s just asking for misunderstandings because this whole thing is very odd and seems like it’s not the entire truth.

You realize marriage and kids are not a new concept? Women don’t need to be socialized to want their family to be an actual unit

Agreed. It’s in the vows. Him bringing this much hesitation to a hypothetical scenario makes it seem like it wasn’t even something he considered. It’s bound to happen to most of us

Virgins tend to prefer virgins. No woman prefers a man who is “experienced” unless they are also sexually active/have experience. Sure, it might be something that can be overlooked or a nonissue in the long run, but nobody wants to think about their partner having sex with someone else. Why is this such a persistent argument? I have never heard anyone in real life EVER say they would prefer a man to “have more experience”. It’s usually men, young men, who judge other men in that regard

It’s a really shallow way of looking at relationships. Why would anyone invest in anyone else if they truly believed it was only their “turn”. That perspective seems more objectifying to me. It makes relationships seem superficial and temporary.

And it’s definitely not the “red pill dating strategy” either

Lol dude you’re the reason women wait. You act like sex is THE defining aspect of your relationship. Threatening to cheat if you don’t get what you want IS coercion.

This is some serious fan fiction. Like holy shit, why is your question so specific

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
