Awhile ago, a plate came over and started making comments complaining about how I'd not responded to a couple of her texts over the previous few weeks, etc. I didn't hold frame and instead, truthfully, told her that I'd been preoccupied because a dear friend had committed suicide just a few weeks prior. Her response was to immediately start talking about how she had been feeling depressed lately, too, and then started talking about how suicide was turning into a bigger thing on social media. In …

A really good writeup on this issue. He's a weird cat, no doubt, but the people seeking to crucify him aren't interested in reality.

Yeah - this seems like an obvious point, if a Tier 1 future pro will bang her, she has options. Obviously, from her perspective, none of those are nearly as attractive as Tier 1 future pro. Not sure where the guy you're responding to is going with this.

I've thought about your comment, and while I appreciate the general point, I think the incident still does qualify as AWALT. It's just that most women don't have access to that top 0.01% of manhood that's out there. Let me put forth a hypothetical: take your average attractive woman and have her bump into Leo DiCaprio. He tells her he wants to bang her raw. You think she wouldn't let him? Let's say he gives her the clap -- you think that after that happened, she wouldn't let him bang her raw aga…

Yeah, it's pretty scary - "I was going to murder / destroy you, but I kept a cool head." WTF? This is the mentality we've allowed just chuckling at the "wronged" woman who keys the guy's car...gotta nip that shit in the bud.

This is a good point, and should've been part of the post. I've heard some crazy stories about jersey-chasers doing whatever it takes to get that baby batter inside them.

Yeah, my intro summary should have read "she'd rather have an alpha's dirty dick than a beta's pure penis" or somesuch.

Well, it's not slander/libel if it's true, no? I, too, find myself sickened by her supposed "significant other." Just walk away, son.

Ha, on the bright side at least it was readable. I never cease to be amazed by how many alleged university students can't grasp basic grammar, spelling, etc.

I can't disagree with you. That said, this example is pure gold.

I had to read this twice as you seem to be missing some words. I think you mean "they would also rather work a stressful job to support themselves rather than stay at home and fuck a beta." To which I concur.

This is the third time I'm recommending this on this forum, but it bears repeating: Orwell's best fictional work wasn't "1984", or "Animal Farm", but was instead "Burmese Days" which is so painfully full of RP truths that it's nearly impossible to read without cringing. As I've written elsewhere, you've got: the protagonist, who is BP as hell, helped along by his extreme shame at a physical issue he can't change (a large birthmark on his face); the woman he falls for, who is interested until an …

I'm going to give my standard response whenever I see the (excellent) "1984" recommended, and suggest Orwell's "Burmese Days", instead. It's also a great way of getting across RP/BP dynamics to someone who isn't quite ready to read the sidebar material. You've got: the protagonist, who is BP as hell, helped along by his extreme shame at a physical issue he can't change (a large birthmark on his face); the woman he falls for, who is interested until an alpha comes along, and is only interested ag…

A lot of truth, here. For some anecdotal evidence - I used to be on the hiring committee for a small company, and the women on that committee -hated- hiring women who were younger and more attractive than them. Just hated it. I remember when we did interviews of a couple of candidates. #1 had attended a top-ten program; had great grades; was a pleasure to talk to; and happened to be young and lovely. #2 had attended some unaccredited for-profit institution; had middling grades, even from there; …

I know I read an essay by Evelyn Waugh where he explained his conversion to Rome in those terms; I don't recall him specifically distinguishing Protestantism, though. I'll look it up tonight. Waugh is a good example of a Catholic (by conversion) who clearly didn't worry much about the "sinfulness" of homosexuality, which he described as mere "naughtiness" in Brideshead Revisited. I do think, though, that his (and your) experience is colored by your particular locale. In other places, in particul…

Burmese Days - George Orwell I know I mentioned it in another comment below, but it's worth the repeat. I don't think I've ever read another book that captured mankind so well. Here are a couple of lines from the plot synopsis (mild spoilers) that should help: "Despite these reservations, of which Flory is entirely unaware, [Elizabeth] is willing to marry him to escape poverty, spinsterhood and the unwelcome advances of her perpetually inebriated uncle...[Elizabeth] falls at the first opportunit…

In this regard - read Burmese Days. It is a clear-eyed view of how horrible humans are, which is to say very Red Pill. I can't recommend that book highly enough. That, and not 1984, should be on everyone's curriculum.

I wholeheartedly agree that the brother shouldn't have risen to the bait - that the gist of my opening and closing summaries. But it's not "ridiculous" to think that speech intended to incite violence isn't "protected by the Constitution." Walk into Times Square and start shouting at the top of your lungs how everyone should rise up and wipe out the NYPD; we'll see how far your Constitutional rights get you then. Her speech didn't rise up to quite that level, sure, but any reasonable person can …

"Likely" sees herself as the victim? Heh. Try "absolutely". Funny bit of info: when I was in college I remember having a conversation with a buddy, and the topic came up with "what would you do if a friend fucked your GF?" His view, and it's always stuck with me, was "I'd thank the guy for showing me that she was disloyal sooner rather than later." While I wouldn't take it that far, it does seem like a healthier approach than many.

Agreed. When I look back at all the things that my mother did to impede my development growing up under the guise of "love", it's kinda shocking.

If woman thought that they could be held responsible for stirring up shit between guys, they'd just get better at doing it without getting caught.

Yeah...it's a bit shocking how quickly the little brother turned on his friend, based on his drunken sister's texts. Guy really was itching to play white knight, I guess.

I should've mentioned - not to speak ill of the dead but one of Andrew's last actions on this earth was literally carrying this horrible woman on his back because she got so drunk while out trying to bang another guy. Don't go out like that, fellas.

I totally read it the other way. He's the one who has been spilling his seed by the long ton, and she's (according to him, who really knows) the anti-him.

Many years ago I remember reading a blog written by an expat living in Koh Samui, talking about his relationships with Thai women. He made the point that after every breakup, they would take everything. Literally -everything-. He gave the example of leaving one day after breaking up with his girl, and coming back to their shared space to discover that she had her family come over and take everything including the washer/dryer, oven and refrigerator. Goddamn. Regardless, the expat knew it was com…

I always laugh at that quote, for two separate reasons: It makes no sense. Imagine saying "if you can't handle me when I've butchered your family in your sleep because your meatloaf sucks, you don't deserve me when I'm at my best." The person who said it was thrice-divorced by her mid-30s, a middling talent as an actress, repeatedly described by colleagues as vapid and a pain-in-the-ass, and dead at age 36 of a drug overdose.

This reminds me -- when Joe Francis, the man behind Girls Gone Wild, was sued by a couple of the girls who ended up on film, even though the court found liability, the all-female jury awarded damages of $0.

Every once in awhile I look around and this, "man, around 10% or more of every person I see has no idea that the person they think is their father, isn't."

Sure, there would be an immediate crisis, then there'd be a long-overdue dose of reality thrust upon the general population of men. Can't have that!!

That is fascinating to me (American). If, say, your average American girl got knocked up by minor nobility she'd be parading that around like whoah.

I've never understood the rationale behind the restriction of paternity tests. I mean, I -understand- it, but I don't get why "keep familial discord lower" trumps "right to not be a cuckold provider."

I just want to reiterate - this woman's desire to be seen as the scorned, brave single mother (who still collected child support from her ex-boyfriend who wasn't even the biological father, naturally) took precedence over his son's right to have his (actual) father. If that is not plain evil, I'm not sure what is.

A thought just occurred to me. Of all of the creatures that are set forth in Homer's Odyssey -- cyclops, witches, sirens, sea monsters, gods -- none are as fantastical as Penelope, who kept faithful while waiting for her husband to return for 20 years.

I don't have a single friend in the military who hasn't gotten royally fucked by marriage. If I was SecDef or whatever, I'd do a bunch of WWII-type propaganda posters telling young men to protect themselves from the real enemy - marriage. Hell, I'd chip in a few bucks to see some enterprising TRP'ller put those together.

Yeah, it's tough to see. Really shocked me how bad things were, justice-system wise, even in 1973.
/r/TheRedPill23/06/15 06:34 PM

Yeah - one of the good things about TRP is that it discusses this stuff through the lens of biological imperatives. Those don't change, be it 2015 or 1973 or 1500 B.C. I also made a small edit to point out that the $136k was actually closer to $750k in modern purchasing power. That's a lot of cheddar.

You can't reconcile notions of equality, feminism, marxism, etc. knowing fully well what you do.<<< I think this is a really good point, and really the crux of the matter. If modern liberalism has a theme, it's that everyone is equal and should be treated equally. A related assertion would be that if everyone had an equal starting point that the playing field would be much more level. I'd say both of these ideas run contrary to TRP thinking, which at its most basics involves the recognition that…

No, she was actually a year younger. Just one of those women who decides in her late 20s to start a whole new career. With school paid for by daddy, naturally.

Haha, yeah, I have to admit after that bombshell was dropped and she left I spent the better part of the next week reevaluating everything we'd done in that context. There's a lot more to the story (isn't there always?) but I figured I'd just include the important bits. Have to say -- if I had hooked up with one of her friends, and not her, I'm sure she would have driven home to her fiancé the next day truly happy to be with him. Her capacity for self-deceit...just wowza.

Thanks for the kudos. I spent a good while trying to phrase that particular sentence right; I'm glad it was well-received.

My bad on the wording - she didn't cheat on her BFs with me, she just would hook up with me in between her "real" relationships. Kinda dumb of me but I didn't quite value myself back then. I'd also add that I've got no beef with the radio silence, everyone's totally within their rights to do that. Everything else you said, though, I agree with.
