Ah cmon you make it really easy on you. I am by no means a feminist, I consider myself rather an equal ist and I got to involved in the conversation to remember the original post. I am considerately grateful for your precious time. Have a nice day my good sir. Edit: My comment was not about women going ham on boys crying it was about a mature partner leaving a man over crying and showing emotions and the presented article is by no means targeting that.

Even if I believe they are both credible sources: You realize that there is a huge difference between smelling testosterone and seeing one crying? In how far does crying lower your testosterone output? For the one above: it's worth about nothing without a good definition of masculinity that matches what I have argued about and as you described yourself it was more about physical traits, which emotions quite not touch.

Nice try. Don't shit on others if your excuse is that bad. Quote me something from an evolutionary psychology book then if you like, but something that is backed up by science not some utter nonsense that has as much truth and proof as patriarchy theory.

Oh come on, just because you can name exceptions your point of view isn't either. Go get some statistics to back your shitty claims or stop calling others out on just naming exceptions. You did nothing else.

Evolution isnt bullshit. Blaming something on evolution blindly and without hard evidence is.

I was on your side until this very comment. Blaming female evolution rather than patriarchy is the exact same bullshit.

I show emotions on a regular basis, I cry, I show my anger in a non aggressive way, I show my fear and talk a lot with my girlfriend about those things. She hasnt left me yet, she will not leave me about those things. Not every woman is like that and the good ones are not.

I got banned from r/feminism because on a post about domestic violence that once again painted the common picture male must be the abuser female must be the victim I pointed out that I was in 2 relationships that I suffered domestic violence in and that it is very hurtful to be told that this not only must not have happened but that I must have been the abusive. Got banned without reasoning.

Your experiences with women seem to have really scarred you. I mean we speak about a generic woman and you assume worst.

The figure was worldwide. I guess China is included in there.

I hope that... will be cruel to her,... That sounds very inhumane...

Most definitely probable. Sorry for phrasing it the way I did, but to me your point sounded like there were a 100 boys for every 10 girls.
/r/MensRights03/02/21 12:49 PM

You paint this picture misframed. On 100 girls there are about 101-103 boys born. So we are talking about marginal amounts. I think this rather comes from boys beeing more active, and also beeing expected to, and this is perceived as them wanting and the girls not wanting.

No you're bad because instead of fighting for men's rights you brag about how bad feminism is.

And I know no mra I would put my hands in fire for, and now? Your anecdotes nor your attitude help mra movements out. The opposite is the case.

Have I missed smth? Wasn't the article about a women, not a man? Why do you even talk about privilege then? Check your cis white Christian male privilege. /S

Don't do the wrong that others do, or it may inflict on you. Just because there are feminists who's opinion and attitude sucks and there are mra's who pose adequately extreme opposing statements this does not imply that mra and feminists are in any way similar.

I guess calling him a moron is unjust and I have never heard him say anything even remotely near to that going back to where women were slaves and livestock was a good idea nor that he spread anything toxic about masculinity nor an encouragement of incel culture. Please provide evidence so I may change my mind.

Do you have any reference to back this and the beforehand claim? I am mutually interested in gaining faith in feminism.

I want equality and neither an extreme version of feminists goals nor an extreme version of mras goals. You are very welcome and even though I think that abortion is not right I would sacrifice my life for a womans right to make that decision.

The health risks a pregnancy poses would be too serious to force someone to go through with an unwanted one. That would be absolutely inhuman. Still up to today women die due to birth, are left with chronic pain to name only two very serious issues. Apart from that every birth brings a possible 9 months of extreme medical problems and at least the birth which causes near to incomparable pain to most women. That is like saying: Well you had sex with a woman and she conceived now you have to get a…

I went with you on a journey and I have to answer no. I would not answer her that way. Since you seem to have read my answer carefully you will have known this before, since I don't want to say that one side has suffered something worse so the other side should not be looked after. Further I would argue that anyone claiming that is insane or inhuman. I think your journey though is not fitting accurately, since we don't talk about one side not having a hard time. Men plan war, start war and fight…

I agree that too many post say "BuT aTualLy MeN aRe mOrE aFFecteD", still your argument is but a hollow point. You make the male casualty sound like it's nothing. But even ignoring it, in your example a man dies and leaves behind a family unprotected and probably starving. I'd argue that sons and daughters are affected about equally badly, vulnerable sons in uncontrolled zones are most likely be killed, because they can become a danger, daughters most likely raped but left alive, because many me…

Implying a very large group prays for war and violence? Must be one I don't understand. But I agree it's a whole other discussion.

It actually is a religion of peace. I would not claim it is the religion of peace since there are others just as peaceful. I would not claim that there are no groups that call themselves islamistic that spread and pray hate, but they are neither representative nor anyway near the majority of Muslim. Your sarcasm isn't anything than blatant hate speach and you should consider doing something about your worldview. Go to your local Imam and have a talk I suggest.

Which I totally agree with. I only wanted to state that the rights given to men were no privilege, which I learned is wrong, because my thought of privilege as some right given to a group for no reason seems to be false.

How about inventing a word comparable to mansplaining like she'shaming.

So if for example a law was passed by a group of women that causes men to lose all their rights this would be sexist inherently and my personal gender would be not only relevant but telling whether or not I benefit from that act, whether I was conceived or not. You lack absolutely any logic, or I suck at getting your point. Please clarify.
/r/MensRights04/12/20 05:42 PM

It's not privilege in that case. Privilege is defined as rights given to a group for no apparent reason.

I actually do consider therapy since something like 3 months but have yet to find a therapist I trust and the energy to make an appointment, which is hard because I feel really exhausted. Sadly I fear facing judgment by a possible therapist or being labeled insane, which could cause me to be kept in a psychiarty for unpredictable time.

Bonus: I answered to a post on r/feminism a couple days ago which was about the equal rights equal fights, which for me basically means, if a woman wants equal rights in any way, she has to accept that if she attacks a man in a physical way he will do so in self defense, as it should be already, but often is seen as weak if men do, because she is "only a woman" and so on and so forth. I told about me beeing a victim of domestic violence in several cases of varying magnitude and that I wish that …

From early ages on I got the feeling that I women were privileged. i.e. girls day/women's day was celebrated in school, girls had opportunities to visit workplaces for one week every year, while boys did not and had to stay in school on the meantime. If asked for a reason responsibles always gave generic "women are payed less and are underrepresented in jobs of power" answer. Continued on in university. There are female only meetings with for students with researchers, mentoring organized for fe…
