This shouldn't have taught you that you should just be yourself and she will fall in love. This should have taught you that you need to become exponentially better. whomst amongst us has not had to become "exponentially better"

It means men love women more deeply than women love them back. What's the full line, "men love their women the way women love their children"?

Individual men (including red pillers) have reasonable standards for women while society and media have ridiculously high/absurd standards for women. The inverse is also true.

when confronted with "unrealistic beauty standards", it's more engaging for men than anything else, and some might even feel compelled to adjust their lifestyles in a way that they get a similar look. I don't think action movies with ripped dudes precipitate much "lifestyle adjustment."

Women face much greater pressure from media and society than they do from everyday men. Men face much greater pressure from everyday women than they do from media and society. That's about the gist of it.

Y'all might be familiar with the coolidge effect. You put a male and a female rat in a cage. They bone. Lots. Despite all my rage I am still just a boning rat in a cage.

I was going to say "if anything, the blue pill people hate the guys who say they DO like to do it." There it is!

It wasn't originally created with the intention of it ever being so large that it would need representation unto itself. But now it is and it does, so it should be addressed.

I know we're getting far afield from Battle of the Sexes here, but "too bad, so sad, it's for states and you're not a state, says it right in the name and everything" is such a bullshit argument for a highly populated part of the country. It's not even a good argument for denying representation to the insular areas. Always seemed to me like the fairest compromise would be one House member for D.C. and a second one to a state whose population gains would dictate another one (North Carolina, Utah,…

Sometimes on OKCupid answering "NO means NO" with "always" gets flagged as an unacceptable match because the girl says "sometimes." I feel like I'm miniature golfing and missing a three-inch putt.

How would you talk with your daughter about this? How would you respond to her when she asks questions like, "what is a beta?" or "is daddy a beta bucks?" "That is some authentic frontier gibberish."

Red pill is too in love with its argot and jargon, but kind of has to be if you're going to treat the human condition as some sort of arcane niche, I guess.

Essentially, though outright solidarity is often replaced with some sort of misdirection, that it's not our place to talk about their culture or that we have bigger problems on the homefront or whatever.

If anyone's guilty of trickery, it's red-pill men trying to be someone they're not. If anything, the nice-guy strategy is stripped bare of any hidden motives or subterfuge: I think highly of you and hope that you will think highly of me as well.

Muslims are the enemy of American conservatives and American conservatives are the enemy of the social-justice left. One must tread lightly. Hey, look over there!

I said this in another thread, more or less, but: It's my observation that the terpers will denigrate men they deem inferior, but then turn around and try to offer them advice here, though it may be misguided or inapplicable, or sell them shitty self-published books or seminars. On the other hand, "blue-pill" women will denigrate men they deem inferior for the sheer sport of it. Either way, you're not coming away from these people feeling all that good about yourself, it's just a matter of wheth…

I read the time he said DFW's experiential essays were made up. Franzen: Salieri :: DFW : Mozart.

Franzen is shit. Airport novels elevated to Great Literature because he acts difficult.

Yeah, and Philip Roth wrote the same book over and over about Jews from Newark who love sex and left-wing politics. I still own nine of them and have read even more.

Oh, Love and Death is his best! "Natasha, to love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer, to be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy, therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness, I hope you're getting this down." "I never want to marry. I just want to get divorced."

Socially awkward men are to be monetized and exploited by the red pill or mocked relentlessly and kept in their place by the blue pill. Frankly, I don't know which is worse.
