I don't think you understood my post at all. I explicitly said if he ignores your wishes on your boundaries then he shouldn't be considered a friend. We disagree on the burning bridges part. What if this friend happens to be a billionaire? :)

Right, it's very simple. Tell him your position on problem, if he ignores it he doesn't give a f about you and so you move on. Doesn't mean you have to burn bridges though, better to downgrade him to acquaintance status if he has other redeeming qualities. Personally I think you should be able to trust the people we fall friends. But what's odd is that OP is unsure whether his "friend" knows he dislikes him doing it. It seems like you have him a greenlight at some point and pretended it didn't b…

I actually can't believe you are a member of FDS and you don't know their take on men paying. I as a lurker know this. Weird. If there's one type of guy FDS hate more than neckbeards, it's 50-50 men.

This cracked me up its so true 😂 Admittedly I've been guilty in the past for acting autistic when I was in my early 20s. When you have no game you fall back to your natural primitive instincts which comes across as autistic.

This dude was never ready to leave his mom's basement. In the future never ever onboard a new roommate that's unemployed, friend or no friend.

You're a good friend man. I have a similar situation with a younger sibling but without the cleanliness issues, 19, no job, taking a 'break' from uni etc and just plays games all day. I tried to help him, tried to teach him some tech skills, take him to gym etc. But he just wants to play video games all day. He's going back to live with his mom at the end of the month. As you said you can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves. When I was his age I had my issues but I always had goa…

Thing is most women won't admit what you just said. Props for that.

This is hilariously true 😂

If they’re platonic they’re not “women” they’re just people. I really wish someone would make a poll on this question in this sub. Interesting statement, I wonder if it aligns with 'red pill philosophy'. So if it's platonic, they are just people & if it's romantic, it's 'AWALT'?

Wow best answer here! Totally right. This is definitely true and can't believe I didn't put those together. Friendships with women are a CATALYST for better quality women. Guess this is why I find it so difficult finding quality women offline 😅

Fair enough, but i could get those things from my extroverted male friends, without the female penalty. I get you though, if you already minted those relationships, there's no reason to burn them. But my main point is as a late 20s guy those things would not be enough to create & maintain a new friendship with a women, I would much rather spend that time forging a relationship with a male.

Thanks for your input. Could you please expound on what exact value that you get from those relationships you mentioned that make it worthwhile?

Lol @ 'hit the gym'. Can you guys come up with something original? Hitting the gym isn't the solution to every relationship problem. The Top comments are dead on. OP was acting like a little bitch, it's always the insecure guys that overdose on the Red Pill. Threatening to break up is a hammer move used by insecure, unimaginative, emotionally intelligent men, and it only works on insecure women, and benefits are extremely short term. Your girl will now be walking around on eggshells, double gues…

Very nice summary of FDS, pretty much nailed it. Tons of butthurt women in there but their TOP complaints are illuminating and valid. I totally get you in the 'zero competition' part, so many men are broke, porn or videogame addicted & boring.

I don't think you understand what selection bias means.
/r/askTRP25/11/20 08:03 AM

How could it be selection bias when he clearly stated that he works in a professional environment where women make upwards of 90k? It's not like OP works at a hair salon. I totally agree with OP, I find most women boring as heck. Just talking nonsense most the time. I sometimes wonder if I take myself too serious but then I remember the 1-2 girls that always had my attention when we spoke, and she wasn't a professional women herself.

Don't listen to him, absolute moron. Clearly he's never been in a relationship. Men know if they want to marry a women in less than 6 months.

Exactly, boggles my mind how so many men have the energy to put up a fake persona just to maintain regular sex. How is all that emotional labor worth stringing someone you don't particularly see a future with worth it? Sounds like a strong word but it seems almost sociopathic to do that, I'm not 'soft' by an means but I'd feel guilty as hell doing that, knowing nothing but hurt awaits her while putting a fake smile on.
/r/askTRP20/11/20 10:22 AM

Agreed 100%. A lot of hurt guys here think RP is all about screwing over women and that it's ok to act like a cold sociopath. If you have no intention of a LTR with this women that could lead to a family/kids, pass her up back to the market. No need to run down her biological clock deliberately. Also, your query seems to show naivety on how difficult it is to find the right women, if you let her go you could easily wait another 5-10 years till you find the next 'right one' and you'd be kicking y…

For real, just way too much thinking, gaming and detail. What happened to just shooting ya shot?

What is the point of having a friend who won't tell you this straight up, with an already existing understanding that the advise, wrong or right, is coming from a place of love and genuine care? If I was that 38 year old women I would like to have been told by my friend. Really baffles me tbh

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
