There will be more and more progress, but you aren't going to have real advanced humanoid robots in our lifetimes, or probably in those in those of people being born today. There would probably need to be artificial super intelligence first to even figure out how to design and manufacture them.

Some people live for their kids though and their life has no meaning or purpose without them. That's true for a lot of women, but some guys as well. Anyway, I'm glad I have never wanted kids and I've been lucky that I don't have any, because some close calls along the way

Yes I'm definitely like that and when I was younger, it was more exciting and fun to meet new people and hang out with them. It can still be worthwhile, but it's also a lot of work and I have other priorities and interests. And of course you save yourself a lot of drama, in some cases, as you point out.

Some dudes are desperately lonely and emotionally empty. I was always basically fine spending time with myself or friends and never get bored with different projects and interests. When I was younger, I did have a basic drive to have female companionship, but most of that faded over the years. But dumb people are self-centered and they think whatever works for them must work for everyone else.
