One of the biggest things to realise in depression is that your mood is not suddenly going to change without you taking action. The way to recovery is an active effort. It's a sum of weeks and months of actively focusing on yourself and your life. The simplest of things like starting a routine again and forcing yourself to get up at 7am and shower everyday can be that single catalyst for everything else

sample size of 65 - 38 men and 27 women. sample was broken down into activity groups help seeking behaviours were assessed on average by 4.5 members per group very weak evidence. claiming it controls for everything apart from gender is absolutely ridiculous.

Starchy carbs are completely fine. I've very successfully cut on diets of around 40-50%C, 25-35%F, 1g/lb P. And many successful body-builders/professional athletes looking to cut weight have had higher carb diets than that and done it successfully
