I lived in Japan 4 years and dated a lot/ had many Japanese friends with wanderlust as well, and no one was particularly interested in SE Asia so I can at least say it's not a common thing. 1	Applying FDS in Japan: suggestions? Parties aren't really good in Japan. They're not like in Western countries. Hmm I don't really have helpful advice because most decent guys I met were when I wasn't looking, but maybe go to places where you would find worthy men, or if you have hobbies, attend meetup events or hobby groups for that. Meetups are BIG in Tokyo. In Osaka people are way more friendly so it's easier to meet people anywhere. Not sure where you are but those are the two places i know from experience. When I was living there guys paid for everything and took me to nice places. The one guy who didn't turned out to be a narcissist proving I shouldn't have let my standards slip, so maybe you're meeting the wrong guys. Don't put up with it. Also I met guys organically.
