great points. just for anyone reading, the carnivore diet with no seed oils and lots of animal organs (the way CarnivoreMD does it) can often improve fertility for both men and women. see him on instagram. meat, honey, tallow or other fat like butter, organs, low-sugar fruit. grass-fed if possible.

You don't need his permission to surrender. I do the taxes and pay some bills, as i did before LD book, but anytime we have a big financial decision I ask my husband what we should do and I do what he says.

Sorry, I wasn't able to read the whole post, but: what I've found helpful for times when I felt left out or insecure or abandoned by my boyfriend (now husband) was Katarina Phang's idea of having a "rotation" of other activities, friends, hobbies, whatever to shift to, to keep yourself happy. A happy woman gets what she wants far more than a woman who is nagging or begging. just whatever it takes to be happy, and then say what you'd like (express desires, Laura Doyle's stuff). are you guys think…

The main things my husband seems to want from me (in terms of roles, the way I want him to be a provider) are to be hot/attractive and to be a good homemaker for him.

I made lots of mistakes and didn't find TRP until I was 30. Happily married now! there is still time. My advice is to really learn how to look great -- clothes, makeup, color analysis, hair, nails. Learn your own beauty recipe that works for you, that's in your budget and that you have the time to do. Use YouTube. Mrs. Midwest has tips. It sounds superficial, but it's a big part of the job of being a woman to a great guy.

I sometimes put on lingerie just before my husband comes home, just to greet him like that, even tho I can't wear it while doing housework. I also like wearing these little Athletica skirts around the house while I do housework. or even lingerie shorts from Adoreme. and obviously lipstick, blush, and a little mascara if you have time!

My husband’s life changed dramatically after getting on testosterone—we have sex daily when we used to do it every few weeks, he has high energy, and he seems more focused and confident. Obviously, this is anecdotal, but never underestimate the power of a good endocrinologist! thanks for the heads-up. luckily for us I guess we can't have kids due to my own health issues

I can't believe there aren't more supportive comments. This is exactly the way I feel. I appreciate having a man to do the things that men do best, like handling stressful emergencies such as a fire. I feel great being second-in-command. I love the relief of not having major decisions up to me, but being able to give input or raise objections as necessary. I just love having a man being a man as my husband, fulfilling that role for me, as I fulfill the role of wife for him!

I recommend watching YouTubers who are also stay-at-home wives or moms! It's awesome to see other people doing what you are doing, and they talk often about how to handle criticism. They show that it's a real job and valuable and laudable and that they create more value for their families this way than if they were working. Check out Mrs. Midwest, Cynthia L, That Feminine Housewife, etc.

I think they are in all of her books. I've read The Surrendered Wife and First Kill All the Marriage Counselors. She has a lot of interviews on YouTube as well.

"What can I do and how can I cope with that feeling?" The Better Baby Book -- to help keep your fertility up Read How to find a husband after 35 (you're not close to 35 yet, but it gives you a good mindset about basically marketing yourself and seeing it as a job to find one, one that deserves attention and investment) Ignore anyone who thinks you are taking finding a husband too seriously-- the same as you would if someone told you not to take your career seriously bc you were a woman. It's a b…

It could be a cultural difference. If he's from China, abortion is seen really differently there. I don't see the marriage is doomed from this, just know that you have every right to feel the way you do.

Cook for him. Bake. find out what he likes. Ask him often if there's anything you can do for him. Accept his decisions and just stop talking, don't argue with him.

Yes I have similar experiences. "When you [action he did], I feel [emotions or thoughts] because [explanation of emotions or thoughts]. What would help is if you [action I want him to do instead]."-->goes badly "she says you should say what you want, but not say how a man should achieve that for you. She also says not to explain why he should do that action--> almost always goes well often my husband will just ask me in an argument, "what do you want" --- that's what men are getting at any time …

Should you tell him? no. I wouldn't put this on him. People make mistakes, we all have regrets. yours seems pretty minor. hope it stops distressing you.

I find little tricks, stuff that helps his sex drive to get closer to mine (or mine to his). After a back rub, he almost always asks for sex. If I wear lingerie it often happens. Also if I'm pouring myself into other projects and reading, I feel less sex-crazed.

I feel the same! I LOOOVE being a homemaker. I am not lucky enough to also have kids, because of health issues, but I love keeping a nice home, and all the things that go into that.

lipstick is quick. can apply with your fingers for a natural/quick look. also natural perfume and blush if you can manage it.

I love this! My husband is tired from working hard to support us. He deserves a break over the holidays without such expectations.

I used the VIP membership when I was purchasing things. As long as you put a reminder to skip the month on your calendar ... I had no problems with it. The pieces were high-quality.

Could you wear lacy lingerie or very feminine clothes around him? helps to put men in that state of feeling like the man... When I crave that feeling you describe, that's what I do, a quick fix of sorts. The other suggestions are great, too.

It's not commercially available yet. It's safe to take orally, though, so I just buy drops from bluebrainboost and put them in my moisturizer. I use it kind of like a mask since it is bright blue and can stain things, just wash or shower it off.

sorry to hear that. in case you are looking for a replacement, something I was using to tighten skin before tretinoin was methylene blue. they are researching it, and it might become a major skincare ingredient. anyway. it worked pretty well for tightening (what I'm using tretinoin for). I also use it to recover if I get too much sun. just put some drops of it in my moisturizer. it's something you can take orally as well. https://www.allure.com/story/methylene-blue-slows-aging-of-skin-study-find…

Anyone have recommendations for fall-scented candles? I am burning the Pumpkin Pie scent one from Pure Integrity right now, but looking to branch out! bonus if they are soy!

One way to help keep yourself from smothering a guy is to keep a "rotation" of guys until the right one makes you his serious boyfriend. Even after that, you can continue having a "rotation" of female friends and other activities to help absorb your attachment/nervous energy. The energy has to go somewhere, and if you put it into other things then there is less there to smother the poor guy. I have had that pattern myself that you describe, for attachment reasons, and this trick helped me a lot.

Yes, improve yourself. Getting tretinoin and azelaic acid (see youtube for info) for tightening face skin and reducing blemishes. Going keto, losing weight. Learning to cook really well (NYT cooking). more confident, get compliments

It sounds like you're doing a great job! maybe stress-relieving things like massages or chamomile tea if he likes it? Just as an idea, my husband likes for me to be his personal assistant to help him with career things like resumes, job and industry research, etc. so if he gets stressed with his job I do more of that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
