If you'd started with 'Male gets [...]' then it would be consistent, but read like an official police report. Your takeaway from this is: don't refer to people by their genders unless you want to sound like an obnoxious cunt. 3	Double Standards As a male field hockey player, I can tell you there is definitely a big difference between the men's games and the women's. Women's games tend to be slower, more measured and technical, while men's are much more physical and competitive.
