2	Unsocial Male Nerd in the USA My main point is that people in bad situations are going to lash out at other people more. It's not "okay" but it's what humans do when they feel backed into a corner. If you try to attack them more it's not going to get the results you want. People that are depressed or suicidal are that way because their life sucks. To kill themself, someone has to hate living enough that it's too painful to continue waking up in the morning. That's pretty extreme if you think about it. 12	Unsocial Male Nerd in the USA Your 3rd paragraph is kind of what I'm getting at. There are a lot of guys that for whatever reason can't or feel like they can't socialize with other people. Instead of people wanting to help them the usual response is just writing them off as losers who are incapable. This article really upset me because the author apparently only got out of the situation due to luck, and he should know what it feels like.
