6	TIL that Mattel's boys division created a cultural phenomenon by inventing HeMan, far outselling rival toy Barbie, so the girls team jumped on their bandwagon by ripping off the product, causing the entire toy line to collapse and put Mattel at financial risk when sales plummeted & crashed.
