You've got paraplegics who are having better dating lives than ones who are tall, attractive and wealthy in this world. Great example, I had the fortune of knowing someone like this. He was incredibly fun to be around and was always cool to talk with. He also dated (and fucked) many women. You think height will stop you? Fuck that.

Why do you consider it a bad thing to be seen as hitting on her? Just curious.

Agreed with this big time! Honestly, the guy is probably having the same dilemma as you, it can be so hard to strike up a conversation when your adrenaline is pumping and you can't find the words.

I agree with this, when you have the abundance mentality, being friend-zoned shouldn't matter.

Nice work man! Maybe you should try and get your buds into this? Get yourself some awesome wingmen for next time.

I know what you mean, the ideas are all interesting and amazing, but actually carrying out the math and problems can grind you down. Stick with it though, by learning the mathematical models of how certain phenomenon occur, you gain such a deeper understanding of how they work. Things will get better... For both our sakes I hope

I've been following your stuff man, I like it! Very well written field reports. Sounds like you should go for the close quicker, but it looks like this gets better!

What is it that bad boys do that gets them laid? They assume attraction, touch the girl, kiss the girl without any second thoughts They don't put her on a pedestal "she's just a broad". They are confident as fuck

I agree, I used "introverted" as an excuse for too long. I legitimately enjoy meeting and talking to people

Awesome, way to hold your cool! Me: Maybe that'll make her feel better. Her: Oh my god, I'm SO sorry. Me: Nah, it's cool. Everyone has that one grudge they never quite get over. Pretty golden way to look at it really, you gotta be above that sort of shit
/r/seduction19/03/11 09:58 AM

Probably the fact that you can't please everyone. Some people were born to live, get married, have kids and die. They can't see how anyone would possibly want to drink, party do drugs and bang supermodels.

Lucky bastard... So question is, would this be a good idea? Do you really have to ask? Have fun man :P

Kind of interesting that it was all tied to her insecurities, and you met in the gym. Maybe she's convinced that she has to be perfect.

Because your biological imperative is at cross purposes from a mans, you are muddying the waters by coming here and trying to advise men on picking up women. It truly is your eostrogen talking. (cue many a white-knight for the downvotes.) Dude, just quit it.

Could be any number of reasons man, could be she's shy or has some sort of hangup, or maybe she wasn't as into you as you thought. Best thing you can do is just shrug it off and act like it didn't happen. Don't avoid her or act awkward when you see her in the future.

Two people meeting up somewhere for the expressed purpose of doing an activity together? Fuck yeah! If she brings her friends or something, then maybe she didn't mean too much by it. Should I ask Don't... Unless the conversation takes on a playful or fun tone, maybe there's a way you could make a joke about her asking you out. Any tips Relax.

you cannot come into the game with a bad attitude. Well put. That's a good observation on improving in any aspect of your life, really. It seems like a side affect of where a lot of people came from. Most people here used to be utterly terrible with women, and were probably hurt in the past. It's good to want to improve but if it's only to "get revenge" on all those women who rejected you, then you should really learn to let it go first.

Good stuff man! I've been thinking of trying this out myself too, but I don't know if I can commit the time... The first couple of days seem doable

Hmm! Good read! He's a handsome guy, and he keeps fit, so I wouldn't have hated it, but I just didn't feel hot for him. Just curious about your opinion on the other end of that spectrum? Could you see yourself getting really into someone, even if they are a bit more homely? It's always cool to hear some confirmations of this stuff, and hear first hand attraction can vanish out of nowhere. P.S - Don't worry about the people who are bitching about you being shallow and bullshit like that. It seems…

I like it man! I've been told I can be an intimidating fellow (I'm not really a rough and tumble guy though, haven't ever really been in a fight), so I'll try and learn from this.

I had that same ahah moment a while ago too. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results right? Do something new, try something different. Somethings I realised: Most people say they want it, they say they want to be cool, alpha, a leader etc. They don't really want it though. They just want the perks, they don't want the hard work, the challenge, the pain that comes with it. Another big ahah moment was when I realised just how little rejection sucks. Do something simple lik…

When I told my stylist that I was open to suggestions, they lit up and went straight to work. Any stylist worth their salt will probably be happy to give you something more than a bland average haircut.

I used to have the same problem. As weird as it sounds, it almost seemed like making eye contact with someone (especially a stranger) was too ... Intimate. I've come to realise that people who can't look you in the eye come off as insincere and awkward. Breaking out if it is honestly just something that comes with practice. I never used to realise, but I used to walk with some pretty bad posture. Chin down, shoulders slouched, basically trying to make myself small. When you walk around with your…

I really like your suggestions! I find that I'm able to do a lot of the non verbal stuff fairly well (I.E Looking at someone seductively, posturing and such), but I fail at the verbal part. I have been curious about this for a long time though, what's the deal with your name? (60 years of challenge)

Hahaha, I wouldn't have thought it'd work! I would have seriously thought most recruiters would write you off as cocky and been turned off by the whole "this job is for me" frame. Good work though man!

You make a good point. I was more concerned that women I see from time to time might see it, but for random nights out at the bar, who cares? I guess it all comes down to the "I don't give a fuck" mentality.

Personally, I'm always a bit wary about posting specifics. I know a lot of people who read reddit. If I compensate by being vague, it isn't interesting at all. Good FR man! I usually take this stuff for granted, as I've been told I can be a pretty intimidating guy. You are right about one thing though: Most people are way to afraid to get into a fight, it's very very rare to ever get past the whole "what the fuck man!?!?" stage. However, I have found that fighting is more likely when the guy is with a larger group. I agree with what you said though. If there is a legitimate chance of being in a fight, don't worry about being alpha. It isn't worth it. M…

First and foremost: You got balls man, you got blown out a lot and even hit on an ex-con's girlfriend! Like a boss. If you can keep those brass balls going, you'll be fine. All you need to do is calibrate yourself a little. It seems like when you're talking to girls, you're not coming from a place of abundance, and you're coming off as needy. Stuff like: They ask if I'm out alone and I say yes, I'm trying to meet people I tell them that it's a big accomplishment for me to just be out and attempt…

I think uttmost honesty is important in this regard. We are (or at least should strive to be) different from those other guys who will say anything to get into a girl's pants. There shouldn't be any expectation and feelings of betrayal if you're completely honest with the girl
/r/seduction16/02/11 08:54 PM

Eh, she's not that bad. You're pretty fucking despicable for hunting her down like that though. Did you think you were going to get a gold star or something?

I always felt that a "neg" was just to make a conversation more fun... If you hang out with friends, you naturally tease and give each other shit, just for fun. It isn't meant to lower value or destroy confidence, it's just how people who are familiar with one another normally talk. As the other guy said, it distinguishes you from other guys who'll give a good looking girl whatever they want.

I am relying way too much on Dutch courage to kill my AA. I'm seriously thinking of not drinking when I sarge at night. This is the only way I can develop real, rock-solid confidence when approaching women. I am considering doing this myself. All in all a good FR man!

I'm still pretty new to this shit. My biggest sticking points seem to be: AA -- Just by virtue of being new to this... I already know what the advice is gonna be Hooking -- When I get over the AA and talk to girls, I can say a few things, but it seems as soon as there is the slightest lull in a conversation, she goes back to whatever it is she was doing. On that note, running outta shit to say... It's pretty frustrating when you've been talking and you just... Stop. I think part of the problem i…

Cool, thanks for the response! Anything you recommend for tonality? I think I've been doing everything else in that department okay, but I've never focused on the tone of my voice. I'm probably almost 100 lbs heavier than the average male here Those are tiny leetle Japanese men though! :P From what I can tell I'm assuming you're in the 200 - 250 range... Is that actually considered "FAAAT" in Japan?

Nice, that's pretty awesome man! It's good to actually hear it from someone else. I have to say I really understand what you're talking about. I've recently begun to stop all the self-hating, and just try to be comfortable in my own skin. Irregardless of pickup, it's been pretty awesome to just plain feel good about myself. I can totally respect the work you guys are doing. I hope one day I can brag to my friends the same way you can!

Just thought I'd say: I took a look at your site and thought the articles were really good! Some great advice there! I figure I'll ask a question anyhow: Has being a bigger guy held you back, now or when you first started? Or is more just a "find the right girl and it won't matter" sort of thing?

I used to play sports and hear this all the time "Don't jerk it before the big game!"... I dunno about that, everything I've read says that pulling your pudd doesn't reduce testosterone. I certainly didn't notice a difference in my playing abilities if I hadn't beat off recently. I deal with a lot of stress on a daily basis, so I find it to be a good stress relief. I think it comes down to 2 things: Being ashamed of it Being reliant on it for happiness I don't think masturbation (or any other pa…

AA is a really weird thing. I think its something that is ingrained in a busy metropolitan society. We see so many people everyday, that we never care to interact with them..even more..we start being scared and some women may despise talking with strangers. I think its a social inhibition telling you to, "TURN THE OTHER WAY, DON'T GO TALK WITH A STRANGER" telling you this.. I find a lot of the theories about where our hang ups with rejection and AA come from interesting. It's interesting to thin…

I get the same thing man : ( I'd say there are a couple things you can do: Experience -- It's gotta become second nature eventually Get outside of your head -- For me at least, this usualy happens when I start to overthink it. Just go for it, say hi, whatever Don't even sweat it -- So what if your voice shakes? If you're anything like me, it usually goes away after the initial stages... As soon as you come into your own, you'll be able to say whatever you want to.

That picture and so many of the comments are so sad... Reminds me of the way I used to think, and still do sometimes. I think the problem with our society is it's an absolutely unbearable feeling to be considered "creepy", when in reality, it's sooo fleeting. 1 chick out of billions may have gotten the vibe that you were weird. SO WHAT!? One thing I've found is that it's really hard to send out the creeper vibe if you are genuinely friendly, smile when you talk and make eye contact.

Nice man. I'm echoing the advice everyone is saying: Absolutely sit down at their table the next time you see them. As to what to say? How about "Hey (girl's name), how's it going?" that should do. Make sure they introduce you to all her friends and just make a ton of conversation. Try and make sure that you're the one they're all looking to in the conversation (but if you can't do it, don't sweat it too much). Good luck!
/r/seduction31/01/11 07:08 AM

Cheer up bud, it's all a learning experience. Sounds like you know what you did wrong (paying for her ticket is bad by the way). Just ask out the next chick that comes along. Reading this it almost sounds like you were maybe too tense and had trouble finding the words. Just remember to relax and enjoy yourself, the rest will come naturally.
/r/seduction30/01/11 10:16 AM
1

Here's the big ticket: If you think it's a big deal, you will (knowingly or not) act like it's a big deal. If it helps, just mental imagine yourself as a dude who's fucked over 1000 chicks. Then go for it! I'd never judge someone, if you're absolutely dead set in your ways, then do it and have fun with it. Just realize that it's not going to be the magic bullet that will suddenly make you cool.

But you did the right thing in ... picking up the tab Doesn't this go against what everyone else says? Fuck that man, just be confident and funny.

Solid advice. If you let yourself get tricked into this victim mentality (IE: I've got XXXX wrong with me, poor me) you aren't going to exude confidence, and won't get nothing.
