| 1 | Career path and getting rejectedThat's good advice, thanks. Like I said my network is small. I do have some "important people" in my network but my biggest problem is my work experience, which is the bottleneck. I will just keep going and try to improve myself in my free time (get better at design, etc.) | /r/askTRP | 20/03/15 08:49 PM |
| 1 | Career path and getting rejectedYea US system is different. I also LinkedIn most people I knew, which helps. But still it feels like I am facing a wall right now since I never really had the drive to succeed before. Now I am seeing the consequences of that. Most of my friends from college were the same as me (unambitious) which doesn't help either. | /r/askTRP | 20/03/15 04:29 PM |
| 2 | Career path and getting rejectedYea, I might go for the master's program. My own business is still just a name where I do small things like logo's and presentations. I don't enjoy doing design, that's the problem I am facing right now. I can do design and I'm not bad at it but I don't like it at all. Since swallowing The Red Pill I've become a lot more interested in commerce. I agree that doing your own thing is big right now and probably the future. | /r/askTRP | 20/03/15 04:27 PM |
| 1 | Career path and getting rejectedOk, what is your plan? I feel like if I am going to do a master's degree I am postponing. I have done a business-like school on a lower level, here you have MBO, HBO and then university. HBO and university are "higher education". MBO is lower/middle. On MBO I studied marketing so I have a background there. | /r/askTRP | 20/03/15 02:49 PM |
