Am I the only one that uses texting for logistics only? Like if she reaches out to me that's cool, but I don't just randomly text girls. After she's confirmed that she wants to go out, I'll usually send her a text the day before or day of with a time and location

I smoke pot and it helps me focus on whatever task I need to get done. I actually feel guilty sitting around doing nothing.

Challenging them is also a great way to keep the conversation going in a direction that isn't cliche.

I also get told not to come off as too strong so idk wtf to do sometimes. I feel like texting is good for casual hangouts.

I think you are right as well. Pulling her aside was wrong, but I feel like baiting me into a big socializing situation with her guy friends was also wrong. I wanted to be with her one on one, and she was clearly into the other dude. How do you think I should've responded to the situation when she mentioned a friend will be there, and then 30 minutes beforehand mentioned 3 other guys will be there? I did get along well with all of her friends but pissed them off when I pulled her to the side. I …

This is good advice. My point of view was that she wanted me to pull her aside to see if I could get her away from her friends. I always hear about girls wanting someone that takes charge. Would you suggest not going at all once she said there will be guys there? Once I got there, I was pretty social with everyone and made everyone laugh multiple times. I even got along pretty good with the guy she was with. I get the feeling I was invited to kind of piss him off or make him jealous but I'm not …

You're right, I do have a shit ton to learn. Last night made me realize that and it's why I'm on this sub now. I want to get better... What would you have suggested I do in those situations? Also, what did I do right?

Yeah I knew it wasn't a date the moment she suggested someone else came. My thoughts were she may have not felt fully comfortable around me which is why she wanted to bring a friend. I really did think she was a different type of girl from how she really is. I was going to bring another girl if she brought friends with her. If she wants to go one-on-one then I won't bring anyone else. I agree with you 100% on not being sure if the other guy has more game or not.

This has been the case for me. I thought about it for a few hours and I was pretty down but was able to eventually just laugh off it. Constantly just asking myself what the fuck I was thinking, but smiling about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
