And the friends you make alone the way may be more valuable (common interests, able to help you in the future) than the girls you pick up.

When a woman is complaining, she is not looking for advice. If she needs help, she will let you know. Don't try to solve a problem that it is not your problem. This generally does not help with bringing the relationship to the next level. Acknowledge it and move on to the next topic.

Some people are insecured and afraid to express their interests and affections. They have to create a "alpha" framework to make themselves feel better, so that when they get rejected they can tell themseoves "I was not needy, she missed out on a HiGh VaLuE man who doesn't send more than 1 text a day."

Women who are basically like a mom or an older sister to me tend to do this or adjust my collar. I don't think that means they want to bang me.

Absolutely. While they are consenting adults who can make their own decisions, that does not shield people from opinions of the society. I am always a bit worried that there is a power imbalance in the relationship that arises out of differences in life experiences, education levels, income and wealth disparity which could sometimes lead to coersion.

Might be too late by the time they go cold. Did you discuss this and check-in on the relationship frequently before this becomes an issue? Did you discuss long term plans and what each of you was looking for in a relationship? People get disappointed when the relationship stays as casual dating and not progressibg for a while, or they realise you are not a good fit/what you presented yourself to be at the beginning.

No, her hand was cold and she just wanted to warm it up. Don't overthink it, she obviously just considers you a friend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
